I am very well aware that the wheat/cave tile up top could easily have been reversed. I will live with that shame.

I’ll have to try this out next time my kids won’t play with me.
I made up my own solo play where I play all 4 kingdoms at once, tiles are determined by rolling my meeple and ordering them based on how close or far from me they land. Then they just take the tiles in that order. I must build all 4 kingdoms as full 5x5 with no gaps and the castles at the center of each. Theoretically I’d score the game based on the standard scoring rules, but if neighboring kingdoms happen to connect their tile type across boarders their tiles can be counted together. I say “theoretically” because the occasions I’ve had the time to play to the end, each and every time at least one tile in the final round will not fit. My last time attempting to play like this the green and blue kingdoms each ended up with a double tile they couldn’t use, but had their tiles been reversed I would have won.😢

I've been playing the Princess Dorothy variant for years and I love it, but I like the look of this with its simplicity. I look forward to trying it.
