I totally agree with your statement. I will be disappointed in our justice system if AH wins after all the lying she did.🤥

Judge Penney did a terrific job. Kept everything under control with a firm hand while being respectful and likable all the way through. She's the unsung hero, regardless of how it turns out.
I agree! Her and Judy I swear. That judge had to talk pretty much the entire time and listen to all of that I swear I would turn off the trial just to get a break but she had to listen to it's straight through and even kind of pretend like Amber was truly testifying. I also loved when she joked with Johnny it was awesome. 🤣. "now don't go breaking anything on the way out", JD: "I'll try not to.", lol
She spoke way too fast here tho, just cos she knows these key principles of jury duty off by heart doesn’t mean she should’ve spoken so fast - esp for non native English speakers

It doesn't really matter at this point, but then yes, we could at least see how jury is chosen based on their verdict, whether or not they are paid by the mainstream media, who supports Heard.
I enjoy this episode of Depp and the internet vs Heard and the mainstream media, starting the lawyers Camille, Elaine and Judge Azcarate.
The jurors should all me impartial? Anyone on anyones payroll would have been excused when they were picking jurors
Too much faith in the jury.. whom are regular people, stressed out about their own lives and work and finances with bloated stomachs from preventing flatulence the entire time. After learning she was a major in the Marines and is a mother of four my respect just grew.

Amazing to see both legal teams applaud the Judge, she was outstanding and deserved the show of appreciation she received. 10/10.
In my opinion a good judge is like a good sports referee/umpire; if things are running smoothly you don't really notice them. That was the case here. Her time management was very good, with court resuming promptly most of the time.On top of all that she presided over a very high profile trial and didn't play to the cameras, unlike say,Judge Holbrooke in the Husel trial. "Tell the world johnny, and see how many people believe and side with you." The world is on your side, johnny.
Johnny Depp should start his own production company. I’m certain that his movies will be welcomed by all of his fans, myself included. Hoping we get some good news soon.
JD founded already a production company, run by his sister Christi. The company is named Infinitum Nihil
Absolutely agree! Wow, one can just imagine how creative and wonderful the movies would be!
JD should produce films/series about the adventures of a young Jack Sparrow.
I'm sure that would be very entertaining and he could direct the actor playing the part.
Just a thought.
he's said he's no interest in movies, unless the topic is very interesting. He prefers playing the guitar.
According to ex agents and others who have worked for/with JD, he's not a good person to work with. Running late for shoots, being intoxicated on set, verbally aggressive towards crew members.
I just love this judge. Probably the nicest judge I have ever seen.
What she's done has ruined his prospects and permanently scarred his heart and soul. I wish him love, prosperity, health and a path to heal.
We already know justice in America has been lost , for many years, those thay say "if AH wins I will loose my trust in the justice system" ... Please , we have passed that line long ago, but I sincerely hope this case comes with the fair outcome that we all know is needed. 🙏
Thank you, it’s high key annoying ppl keep saying that
Well said irina

This kind of defamation trial is extremely hard to win. Johnny was going to be fighting an extreme uphill battle as soon as he filed this case, and while our justice system does have some serious flaws, him losing this case would not be a great example of those issues
It’s “lose” not “loose.” And I agree with you 🙏🏼
I hope the jury makes the right decision!..
will the jury not notice anything of whats going on online in the last 2 weeks? how does that work..
Judge Azcarate's acknowledgements and the reactions got even the very hard working court reporter her well deserved laughs 😅😸
I'm not remotely interested in the Celebrity culture but this case I've been following because I too as a Male have been subject to Domestic violence and eventually had the courage to walk away for my own sanity and self-worth. Amber Heard's lies echoed with me as because I'm a big bloke I was also told nobody will believe me. How true that was. Domestic violence should never be trivialised as it ruins people's lives and self-worth and self-esteem. Team Johnny all the way
I'm going to miss seeing Johnny. I wasn't exactly a "fan" before, but I am now. Wishing him all the best!
Me too❤️😩😩
No worries, you’ll see Johnny a lot more in movies. His career will resume and he’ll continue to entertain us on the big screen.
That speaks volumes beautiful thing.
Same
Me too he has a really good sense of humor and he's pretty funny. Never really thought of him before but now I've grown to really like him. I wish him well
When exactly was this like what day was this live because I couldn’t watch it
What a judge! Let everyone in, straight forward and extremely dedicated to her work and professionalism
It must be noted. Just because you're a woman you can't get away with anything. Period. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED.
Most do in fact get away with it. Just go visit any family courtroom with divorce proceedings.
They fought years and years to be equal to men.
Yesssss!!!!!!
@@jasonsimpkins9069 And they have it... the reality is, those las of equality are in place.
Period.
Wow… It’s too bad we don’t have more judges like this. How refreshing!
There are a lot of judges like this. As well as attorneys like JD's team
There’s a lot of judges like this. You probably don’t watch trials huh?
Well we have David Borowski
"Well, that's a first." She said that a couple times. I wonder if they're really first time things for her or is that one of her favorite phrases.
excellent explanation of jury's job now. nicely done, judge azcarate.
No matter what Johnny has won people's hearts. Wishing him all the best I hope the Jury will make the right decision. Justice for JD
She's a snake... he took one for all men who have to deal with life ruining bull lies these snakes try to do to men.....
Justice for Johnny Depp
I never gave two hoots about Depp before this. Saw a few of his films years ago andhad no opinion about his character. This trial laid everything bare which was truly a courageous act by JD. He comes across as having a very sensitive soul. I wish him a more healthy life partner.
@@jckyhn7329 I fully agree with you
7:05 It's hilarious that he was so used to debating the opposing legal team so much, that even when he actually wanted to agree, instinctively he was going to whole heartedly disagree with them as a matter of principle 🤣🤣
I have question, being from the UK, I'm not sure how USA justice works. my question is, has the jury been kept part from all media regarding this case? If so how does that work? Any contact with family etc?
In a civil case (as opposed to a criminal case) such as this you are not sequestered. You give an oath not to discuss it or violate any other lawful direction on penalty of criminal charges.
During trial days, its like a job, you go home after each day. During deliberations you may be sequestered, but that varies by Judges directions, jurors choice (they can request to be put up in private lodgings) and what state they are in. I'm not sure regarding this particular case if they are now sequestered...
I picture the movie "Cable guy" when on TV they're about to reveal the verdict. And it gets interrupted by the satellite dish getting broken. Lol. Maybe I watch too many movies.
The audio of Heard screaming, cackling manically and ridiculing Johnny Depp in the most unimaginably cruel way will stay with me for a long time. It was psychotic
I totally agree. I still hear it in my head, it gives me chills to think what he lived with. smh
So true. Her words dripping with condescending poison evoked emotions I'd rather never experience ever again in my life.
I've followed this entire case and out of all the audio clips they showed, this one disturbed me the most
It was terrifying to hear that tape how could someone do that to someone they say they love it was like she was in a manic state. This woman really does have a mental disorder and if she doesn’t get help she may kill someone next. To think she has a baby is truly scary she is unable to control her temper and makes it unsafe for that poor baby I hope child services will step in and monitor her.
Manically or maniacally? Perhaps both, yes? I also agree, yes, there is something dangerous in her. I can't help it, I'm getting O.J. vibes and I don't like it.
I'm still confused why ordinary people are allowed to decide cases like this. I'm in polisci, and 80% of people I debate are illogical, easily swayed, and form strong opinions before knowing much. I would hate having my fate be decided by the idiocity of the general public.
Agreed. Should I ever find myself in legal trouble, I'm asking for a bench trial.
I don’t like the jury system either. But it’s better than one single judge determining the outcome. A panel of 3 or more judges is better. Look what happened in the UK trial. It was decided by one judge, and his son apparently had ties to the tabloid outlet that was one of the parties. That’s why JDepp lost the case there.
the jury is comprised of your peers in the community. it just takes 1 juror for a mistrial/hung jury. at least you have a presumption of innocence here and some other rights although sometimes the law is not followed for folks.
We should have only trusted people to be the jury in situations like this
Did you vote for Brandon?
is there going to be a season 2?
its interesting to watch jury's work. i dont have that in my country.. we used the 3 judges as the ultimate decider for a case
Judges are professionals more suited to administer justice.. the Virginia Court uses jury system.. strangely they require the jurors to have a unanimous verdict for defamation suit to succeed... the jurors are just normal citizens and not really trained for the field..how does the system expect them to have a unanimous verdict...? judges are trained to administer justice and it is more practical that judges are appointed for cases where unanimous verdict is required to determine outcome of a case
As a DV survivor I really hope justice is served. Amber heard took advantage of things she has no understanding of. She used unspeakable situations to her advantage to hurt someone and to have control over them. It is absolutely disgusting. She deserves jail time in my opinion. People who make false claims should face jail time.
Problem is tho I would not hurt a soul , but do u wish u could? Life's tricky
Yup, in the eyes of the law she should just be another person. As with anyone else, she's an adult and should face consequences like one; committing purjury is a punishable offense.
I agree 100%. She is an abuser who dares to be so cruel to stand above the many real victims and make a mockery of their pain and suffering with her lies and selfish abusive manipulative behaviour
Agree!
@@daveyb2275 I never would hurt anyone. No one is asking anyone to hurt her. She deserves jail time for what she did.
