What I love about short cuts in general and pixies in particular is that they show off a woman's head shape, face, overall bone structure, neck, and eyes. We black women have beautiful features, so why cover them with lots of hair? Minimal makeup, beanies, scarves, cowls, and select jewelry can change your look depending on your mood. It's really lots of fun.

Especially with the changing climates here in Chicago it gives me the opportunity to shift my look from hats scarves headbands etc. soooo much fun. Good question! It’s definitely possible the hair would have to be blow dried straight and mold the with the foam I mentioned on the sides. Tie it up with strips and then curl or flat iron jt.

How I make MY pixie pop: shake, colour, and aroma.
Spiking gel! I like Philip B Gravity Defying Gel for this. . . Smells great, only a small amount is needed , and results are FANTASTIC! I use V05 for grey hair on freshly washed, towel dried hair, then spike with gel, style, then go. Great for tropical travel because you have to check a bag to take your wrap foams! I never travel without a silk scarves for my hair. I hide them in my eyeglass cases.
A red lip. Period! I miss Chanel’s Red No. 5.
Great sunglasses.
Subtle earrings.
A quick, genuine smile.
Gratitude.

Hey thanks girl appreciate it!!! There is no way hun but bleaching the darker areas. I wouldn’t recommend it. You’ll have to give it time. Everyone’s hair does not turn silver. My hair in the back is not silver. It’s more a mix of gray and white. My parents have completely silver hair. So just keep that in mind. Hope that helps😀❤️🙏🏾

Do I have to texturize my natural hair to get the pixie cut like your my natural hair is kinky
Hi Olivia and yes you would my hair is not kinky and I have to texturize it a lil. I don’t like it super straight. I have like 3 textures but I love the flatter look so yes I do texturized it.
Can a person with kinky hair get a pixie cut?
Yes you can but if you are naturals the. It has to be blow dried and flat ironed and not sure how long it will last based on the thickness of the hair
