I advertised on Facebook several years ago, but was inundated wth calls and could'nt keep up with returning them. I have a couple of guys that work for me and there was no way we would have been able to take on all of the projects. We do nice work and found word of mouth and repeat customers works just fine for us. If you want your business to explode, advertise on social media and hire a bunch of good trades guys that you can depend on.
Honestly, I didn't run an ad, I just posted on local contractor Facebook pages. I was going to invest in some advertising, but was blown away by the response we were getting for free. We had excellent client testimony going for us too though. Still, I don't think spending a few bucks on a decent ad is a bad thing. Greetings from BC, Canada

What kind of ad did you run? And what were you directing them to? Your facebook page?

Just do a great job word of mouth is the best advertising.
