    What a rare video today. It's been so beautiful that even the wild burros are more friendly! And in just a few weeks it look like the moon again. The desert has minerals that's a given. But if you are there at just the right time. You'll find a diamond. Thanks for a beautiful glimpse of desert bloom Jeff and Lila. Every frame has great content in it!

    Every video that you post, I learn a little more about where the gold nuggets I chase, are coming from. You’re right down the road from me in this one so it’s even more relative to the area I’m in. Showing the rocks and changes up close and detailed really helps me understand more of what I’m seeing out in the field. I’d trade gold and a can of them beans you like to have a fella like you follow me around for a day and answer questions! You can’t have my big nuggets though!! 🤪

    Another great and educational video. I've had my eye on the Kingman area for a while. I'm an old fart, retired with a little class C towing a Jeep. Growing up, my father, a petroleum engineer, which includes a lot of Geology, would prospect while on vacation. In fact, geology was his favorite course and history. We often found enough gold to pay for the vacation; like you, he knew where to look. I'll never forget those vacations. I remember one to Criple Creek that was awesome. You have to remember this was in the early 60s, and these areas were still pristine and untrodden by the masses. We had an old International Travel All, a tank with 4-wheel drive, so we camped way off the beaten trail. We went to several places in Northwest Arizona, but I don't remember where at the moment.

    • @CajunWolffe
      @CajunWolffe Рік тому +4

      @@BrianJonah88 I've been told I should write a book, but I don't see the audience that was once there. In the oilfields, I was always one of those people who, when asked can you go here and do that said, sure; you learn a lot fast that way, but I went through three wives. Women don't like being left home for months, but that's life. I wonder if it's who I was or if my father instilled a wanderlust in me with the sheer variety of travel on the many vacations growing up. My great-grandfather was part of the great cattle drives from Texas up into Kanas and North Dakota. I share a lot of his genes. I remember one time in Wyoming, North of Casper, near the old Midwest oil strike, on the way to visit an uncle, a great uncle to me. It was a pretty dull stretch, or so I thought, through meandering and rolling hills, scared randomly by decades of erosion when he slammed on the brakes and pulled to the side of the road in front of one of the hundreds of historical markers we had seen along the way. This time, it was different because once my father had pointed it out, you could still see the carved-out path and remnants of ruts made in the land by tens of thousands of wagons in both directions; this was the Boseman Trail. This was in 1961, so I wonder if you can see anything today; nobody cares anymore, and history is lost. Nowadays, everyone's too busy making silly and pointless TikTok videos and complaining they don't have enough. At least this channel teaches you skills, and skill beats ten virtue signals any day. 😎

    What a nice surprise Burros and a youngster too. They must be use to getting fed too. I had a couple of Burros several years ago one a female and the other a female baby that was born blind due to a genic issue with mom. But, I found if you attach a cow bell to the mom the baby could easily find her, and she did very well. Beautiful area with all those yellow flower everywhere. You wouldn't expect to see that in a dessert. This video is quite interesting and entertaining too. That Fort R.E.D.S. was another interesting site. You always have a wealth of knowledge about Geology too. Great video.

You will learn how to read a mountain or a stream you will use equipment. This is not a television show. It's real life gold prospecting and he will cover dangers hardships and don't quit your day job till you strike it. Yes thats the really neat thing. This is better than the lottery. It is real. And with a lot of effort your pan will have gold in it. Jeff offers these classes. Please take advantage. Hey Jeff. All this water means the washes

    Hi Jeff this is Air Force veteran Atocha Rickey Edwards recently from Quartzsite Arizona I'm moving to the Oatman Arizona area in April. I'm currently a GPA member and formally quartzite metal detecting club and I'm good friends with Blake and Lisa Harmon of Minors Depot. I have been watching your program for many years now and you're a one of my main teacher thank you so much for your hard work and instruction and training to all of us here in Arizona and many other states watching I learned more from you than anybody else thank you for being a great 👍😃. I'm very excited about doing some pants sampling at Oatman since I moving there next month I can't wait to use my minelab 140 pro metal detector and my whites beachhunter. Thank you and may God bless you I look forward to meeting you up at Oatman. Sincerely Atocha Rick E.
