Make sure to smash that like button and if you like Geology vids then you will love this one. ua-cam.com/video/Pva3FT5tOFw/v-deo.html and thanks for watching.

I’ve been watching Jeff for 6 years I love seeing what the channel has become and how Jeff has reached the world …. Jeff himself , his knowledge and his work is truly the greatest gold deposit that ever existed….✨💯
I remember you and slim back in the day and I'm very happy this has become a successful thing for you! So eloquent with your presentation and with good energy! Amazing stuff man, you should be proud!
I knew a sand and gravel operation in the Mother Lode that used the sand and gravel to pay for the operation, of which part was separating out gold. The gold was all profit. You could buy aggregate at a very low price compared to some of the big operations in the valley (the Central Valley). Really, just about any stream in the Sierra north of Yosemite will yield some gold, at least in traces. When we were kids my dad would take us panning for the day. The most surprising content I ever found was about a quarter of a cubic inch worth of mercury. It was trapped in the crevices down stream from an old placer mining area.
Another amazing, entertaining, educational video. Transitions from topic to topic and the ending was very well done. Great videography. Thanks for sharing your passion with all of us.
So many great ideas for finding gold! And for folks no matter where they live. Great video of Jason up in that crazy stope! Been watching a lot of his videos. 🙂

There is also gold in Canada between Sault Ste Marie, Canada and Sudbury, Canada. I use to go up there before you needed a passport.
I remember watching you in 2009! I became a premium patron not to find my own gold but to help keep the dream alive ! Ive found a flake here and there but my problem is getting my arse of the couch. Culverts and bridges have to be my favorite sluice boxes to clean out!! It's also considered public property in South Dakota least in my area around Custer SD. That means I can clean that culvert out and not get harassed and be there as long as it takes to get the gold. I am currently working one now and man it's gooooood! Hardly anyone thinks about these areas and it's literally a giant sluice box 😊
Man, id just like to say how much i admire your knowlege and lifestyle, not to mention you remind me of one of my favorite people. Thanks for all you do Brother, you are a true inspiration. Honestly
As an Ohio prospector!!! Find a gravel pit on a map. (Not a quarry). Then find a stream that passes fairly close. Gravel pits are depressions in the bedrock filled with Glacial till. Good gold when a stream runs through one of these river rock deposits. Get that gold!
I am so envious and jealous of the lucky people that get to mine gold with you. What really sucks is having gold fever and not being able to actually go gold mining sadly I am not financially able to give it a try 😢
Good morning jeff, i know a lot of same guys that you know. Here in Washington state its hard to find good gold locations that its common for me to be spotted in a jewelry store with my Garrett super sluce pan. Awesome video my brother

Excellent video! I live in Northwest Indiana and I'm only 10 minutes from Lake Michigan. Actually, the cities by me, use to be part of Lake Michigan many years ago. The soil is very sandy. Do you have any suggestions as to where might be the best area to look for gold? Thanks in advance.
Love your video's Jeff! I'm actually working some Home Dept sand right now because your video on it lol. And yes, I found some flour Au. You inspired me to buy all kinds of equipment and tools and having a blast. I live near a glacial zone in TN( I think) and because of what you've taught, I think I have a few spots researched to find that shiny. My co-workers think I'm crazy, probably how those NY folk thought of you. Hhahaha. Anyway, God bless and stay safe out there.

Since I started my AU education from Slim and Jeff, I like the road cuts and culvert pipe workings. Once I get a whiff, I do the JW trick of 😮3-7-9 and 21 miles of concentric rings search for the rest of the trend. It works! But now I live in Coeur D Alene, ID. Lake Pend O Reille ( pro: Ponderay) the fifth deepest lake in the US, was the scene of an ancient ice dam. This finger of the Cordeliarian Ice sheet, a frozen sea, held back ancient Lake Missoula. When the pleistocene cold warmed, the dam broke, releasing 3.2 trillion gallons of water per second for over 3 days. Lake Missoula was bigger than lake Superior and lake Erie combined. It sat on one of the richest mineral deposits on earth. Gold, copper, silver most assuredly were all washed into Lake Pend O Reille. This lake I think, is the world's largest gold riffle. But we never hear a peep about it! The US Navy has a submarine base there. Strange vortices on the lake surface are available for your viewing pleasure on UA-cam. Is the navy dredging the lake? Am I risking my life by posting this? I'll be leading Ancient Lake Missoula Flood tours this summer. You'll come up!

Urban areas are off the list for me, I don't come down off this mountain in the edge of Wilderness National Forest area very often 😂. Thanks for another wonderful video ❤

I hope you're having a great Memorial Day Weekend my friend, and maybe someday too, I will meet you on the River!!! hahaha And "Yeah You're Gonna Get Wet!" hahaha
Near Allegheny Calif they used mine dump rock to do the shoulders of roads some of the mines they got the rock from were high grade specimen mines and with a good metal detector you can find gold nuggets still.
