സൗത്ത് ഏഷ്യയിലെ തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഏക്സോട്ടിക് പഴങ്ങളുടെ നഴ്സറി നമ്മുടെ കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളിയിൽ ആണ് എന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ചിങ്കു പറഞ്ഞാണ് അറിഞ്ഞത്. അപ്പൊ പിന്നെ കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പള്ളി വഴി പോവുമ്പോൾ നമുക്ക് അത് ഒന്ന് കേറി കാണണമല്ലോ. അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഹോം ഗ്രോൺ എന്ന ഈ നഴ്സറിയിൽ പോയി. റംബൂട്ടാൻ, പലാസാൻ, ടൂറിയൻ, മംഗോസ്റ്റീൻ, അങ്ങനെ പലതരം പഴങ്ങളുടെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ വിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരു നഴ്സറി. ഏറ്റവും വലുത് എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ ഈ നഴ്സറിക്ക് 80 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലവും അവിടെ പഴങ്ങളുടെ കൃഷിയും ഒക്കെയാണ് ഉള്ളത്. While travelling through Kanjirapally, I called up Chingu for his suggestions for a good food spot. During our conversation he mentioned about a nursery that sells exotic fruit plants in Kanjirappally. He also mentioned that it is the largest exotic fruit plant nursery in South Asia. Thus we decided to explore Home Grown Nursery that day. It has got 80 acres of land and several species of exotic fruit plants. Rambutan and several varieties of it including N18 Rambutan, E35 Rambutan, and several more. They also have Pulasan, Durian, Mangosteen, and several more. By the way, do you know which is the queen of fruits? Yeap, Mangosteen is considered as the queen of fruits and also the food of the Gods. This sweet and tangy fruit is grown in several parts of South-East Asia including Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Well done! Mr Regin & Sébastien did well in explaining the meaning of the names of rambutan, pulasan & durian. Langsat has a sap when you split it open it's skin, which stains your fingers. They should look into cultivating dukong, similar to langsat but a little larger, more juicy & sweet minus the sap from the skin. Another variety is the duku langsat. Keep up the good work, Ebbin Jose! 👍

M ജില്ലയിൽ ആയിരുന്നു ആ തോട്ടം മുതലാളി എറണാകുളത്തു ഉള്ള ജോർജ് തളിയത്ത് ആയിരുന്നു. അപ്പച്ചൻ രമ്പുട്ടാൻ ആളുകൾക്ക് ഫ്രീ ആയി കൊടുക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ ആ തോട്ടം തുണ്ടായി മുറിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. തൊഴിൽ സമരം മൂലം 1985ഇൽ.ഇപ്പോൾ ഇല്ല. മേരിനോൾ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് എന്നായിരുന്നു പേര് വിതുര പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ.
