I’ve looked everywhere on UA-cam and this by far is the best “how to” on building the trunk storage set, thank you my man.
🙌🏼 glad that I could help!
Love how you mention "milk crate for chair" . This is what overlander out there are missing out, the old school way!
There's always room for old school ✌
My mid-life crisis is decking out my 2007 FJ. I'm having some work done by others, but I love the storage system you've designed. I'll be convincing my husband we "need" it!
Amazing 🙌
Was planning on doing something similar this season, you just saved me so much time! Thank you 🙏
Glad it was helpful!
Also to go back and redo this so we could have the measurements and stuff after it was already installed, a really kind thing to do.
This is my 1st planned install once we move to Oregon. Before anything mechanical, before electrical(we’ll radio doesn’t count).
I need my flat surface. The back is all tools in milk crates
Great video and penmanship 😁
Awesome video!! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything extremely well!
Thank you 🙏😌
That is Chicano fabulous bro with the milk crates! Good vid Fellow FJ Owner
haha thanks brother
Great video!! Thanks for the amazing information and videos!!
Nicely done. It is a comfortable bumper to sit on.
Thank you for a detailed breakdown. Using yours as a base with minor change to suit my need.
You got to be one of my favorite fj UA-cam guys good fun good stuff
Just came across your channel. Speechless…. Keep it up!
Awesome build. Thanks for all the valuable information that you have contributed and the time to make this fantastic video.
Thanks!! Glad you’re finding it helpful
Thanks for your time on the breakdown. Much appreciated! Great setup
Longest how-to I’ve made so far, but glad it is helpful!
Finally!!!!!!
Thanks for going to the trouble of all this! Such an awesome build!
Glad it is helpful!!
Finding new innovative versatile usage for existing items is awesome! Great use of the crates and table tops. Depending on what’s in the crates, I would put it on its side so you don’t have to lift the table to access the contents.
Yes! Thanks!! Off to the side also works ☺️
Great video thank you
Good job.
Thank you, Thank You ..THANK YOU !!!
Thank you for taking the time and going into detail on this build. I am a subscriber now
Thanks for the sub!
That setup is so affective way to organize the camping trip. Everything is easy to reach and can see the things you packed.
I also plan to travel but not like you do (off road trips).
Because I am old and I don't know how to do 4 wheel drive.
I am searching for my travel car which Toyota Sequoia or mine Van.
Anyway once I have my travel vehicle maybe I can use some of your build.
Thank you for sharing your storage ideas.
As always for me is nice and fun to watch.
That’s exciting! Yeah it doesn’t matter which vehicle you choose, as long as it can allow you to travel safely. I’m sure some of these things can transfer over!! Thanks for the support :)
Dope video
Not as dope as your latest murder mystery!!
I'm taking notes and checking it twice..lol
cool vid
Nicely done
Thanks!!
Great video! Do you plan on doing an off road video set up? You mentioned airing down your tires etc. would love to see a video in that process and everything else you do to prep the truck for off roading. Cheers!
Thanks! Great suggestion - I'll aim to throw one together when things get warmer 👍
I love this. Just got my FJ a few months back and miss being able to sleep in the back of my old rig. Would the top of this level out with the back seat (laid down) and the passenger seat forward to throw a pad and a bag to create a sleepable area? If not I may use this template and make it shorter to suit that.
Hi there, great build and excellent video! Definitely inspired me to give it a crack. Just want to check....do the dimensions allow you to keep the backseat locked in the upright position for a rear-seat passenger? It looks like you have one side up and one down....just want to double check. Any advice appreciated!
太实用了
I just built my FJ drawer 2 weekends ago. Was definitely a learning experience. Really wish I waited for your video. Would have saved me a little time.
Ahh oh well, at least you got it done! What kind of drawers did you make??
@@stokedtour Just one big drawer. tall enough to put milk crates inside. wide enough to slide my stove and table between the drawer and the wheel wells(maintain access to inverter and jack storage as well.)
@@adamghahate3323 beauty! Ah yes I should have mentioned the bit about removing the Jack first before you close it off!
2008 fj. How do you access the jack on the left side ? If you say put it the drawer I'll be sad. And is anybody like you able to get a inside door release ? It buggs me closing the big door and NOT being able to get out ASAP...I know release back window But a pull cable would be great.
Do you only run with the one back seat installed?
Great video!! What kind of paint did you use?
Thanks! Just regular rattle can spray will do just fine
@@stokedtour Thanks!
Milk Crates..Are Versatile Indeed!!!...All These 'Ideas'...i can utilize....in my '99 Honda Civic Hatchback-...'STEALTH-URBAN-LANDER'! Cheers 'Brother'...I'm 'STOKED'....no Your wokenSTOKED! lol..CARRY ON! enjoy your vids!..
This is gonna be the most badass Civic!
@@stokedtour ...maybe my 'own You Tube vids'...LOL!!! Cheers!
Does the ‘09 not have that back AC plug?
I think it’s an option when you buy it! But mine didn’t come with it
@@stokedtour got it. I’ll make a tiny hole for it when I completely rip off your genius storage set
Good video but nothing tied down is a good way to get killed by a flying power station and milk crates during an accident. Just my thoughts.
Good point
Now can you do it centimetres 😊
Not a bad idea..
What is this, a video for Liberia, Myanmar, and USA?
???
I mean, I did put M6 and 30mm...soooooo 🙃
Metric is right there on your tape… just start the change dude😊
