This is not a glitch, this is equivalent of a person mastering the depths of the magic realm. Its easy for the player because they have a user interface that displays everything that's happening. But for everyone else in oblivion it takes a lifetime of study to figure this out :D
Gotta love the subtitles at the end though, NPC just saw a guy zoom past him and he asks the most stupid question ever "You're a fit one, been running a lot?"
@@xa-12musk8 well, at least you have a some good side quests, but that's all, i mean, i spent like 500 hrs in that game and nowadays i cant stand playing it vanilla anymore, most of the spells are garbage and combat is boring in low difficulties and tedious in higher difficulties and while shouts can be decent enough in the rest lacks a ton of things
This is patched, however, you can still boost Magic tremendously with some prep and time. You need to make multiple fortify intelligence + fortify magic spells, you can’t just use one. Make multiple of the same. Also add some for willpower, so you can regain to speed it up. Make a couple for 15 seconds then make about 15 or 20 that last 120 seconds, it’ll cost around 500 magic, so that’s why you need to 15 seconds to start the chain. Use them all, you should have about 5000 or more magic for about 1.5 minutes. You then can cast an insane buff with what ever you want that will last another 2 minutes, or damage spells. You can stream line the process by making 2 or 3 fortify willpower and magic for 30 seconds, which should get you near 1000 magic to use amazing stuff. But to get 5000 or more… you need to use about 20 spells. They do stack, but you really don’t need more than 1500 for most things.
And if you add to each buffing spell a short invisibility on self, 2 seconds are enough, you can buff again in the middle of the battle without risk. Adding also a weak on touch spell and casting while blocking helps speeding up the buffing process, the on touch animation is the faster one and casting when blocking makes it even faster, as the buffing procedure with many spells takes some time and the maximum duration of a spell is 120 secs casting faster you gain some more seconds of combat before the buffs expire. It is true that 1500 magika is enough for many situations but the magika regeneration is affected both by willpower and the magika pool you have, a toon with 3000 magika and the same willpower of an other with only 1500 magika will recharge 2 times magika each second, the way magika regeneration is calculated makes a character with high magika pool and low willpower regenerate magika faster then one with low magika pool and high willpower so if you buff for very fast regeneration is wiser to buff magika (directly and boosting intelligence) more then buffing willpower to very high levels, this is the real reason bejond buffing magika past 1500. For those that like to optimize MagickaRegenRate = 0.01 * (0.75 + 0.02 * Willpower) * TotalMagicka.
A classic, its still possible with a little mysticism and made easier by having the apprentice stone (you can also fortify fatigue by enough to slay the gods with a iron dagger)
I don't think a weakness to magicka/element effect applies on effects within the same spell. So you'd have to create a Prepare1 spell with 100% WKMA and then the actual 1 spell with 100% WKMA + Fortify Intelligence 100 + Fortify Magicka 100. The last spell in the series only needs 3% WKMA for 1 sec because you need a negative effect in the spell for the weakness to apply. Also, WKMA on self only works in oblivion 1.0. In the later patches it doesn't affect on self spells.
Is fun. Would duplicate rings then duplicate them while wearing and get the permanent boost. My average walk speed without casting anything was around 700 per play through.
Weakness should come at the end of the spell in oblivion due to the resolution order of the engine, unlike morrowind and skyrim where it should be at the start.
Damn i used to do this but id stack weaker spells with long durations with stronger spells with a short duration for fortifying acrobatics and have one super jumpto go out of the map or to the top of towers in the oblivion gates lmao
So the spell stacking glitch abuses oblivions weakness to magic spell effect. Instead of doing 100-->200-->300, etc it multiplies the effects exponentially. The fortify intellegence and magicka allow him to cast the spell repeadtly at little to no cost. The final spell was just the bi product of being like 3000% weak to magic. Also would work on other targets so like a horse you could make it immortal or move at the speed of sound type stuff. The apprentice birthsign also makes this easier as you are already weak to magic.

I just love the absurd running speed and jumping you can do in Oblivion
“You’re a fit one. Been running a lot?”
😂
This is amazing
This exploit no longer works after the version 1.1 patch has been installed. Weakness to Magic no longer amplifies any effects cast on Self
What bout 360?
cast a 100% reflect magic spell on a summoned scamp and use touch spells, works the same just more setup
@@ivanlagayacrus1891isnt 100% reflect expensive?
@@Justlilmonster its oblivion theres a million ways to make cash
@@ivanlagayacrus1891 no i meant costly. As in it costs a lot of Magicka
I wish we could do this in Skyrim. Skyrim is my favorite in the elder scrolls series but Oblivion does do several petty reasons.
@Warfox skyrim is like an empty shell, you need to install 200+ mods to have at least a decent enough experience of the game
@@nicolasvera1648Not true.

Why is the spell cost so low?? Mine goes up too 2000 not 978 like yours is wtf
Edit: nvm probably because me restoration isn’t at 100
What?
I just tried it didn’t work
Is the fortified max mana permanent like in morrowind?
u can do a glitch with rings but no
This is Skooma spell for mages. 😂
