This vid is awe-some wonderful. Water pumps for free along the street is wonderful, here they would be stolen. Please record when you come to the friendly shop owner's home, I look forward to watch your visit. Shops in your village sell goods that arrive from all over the world, russians are clever business men . Ancient soviet houses are my favorites. Your adventure make my day! God bless you and Xenia

Villages with central water supply already got rid of them.

Yeah. Those are not military uniform tho. Usually most of fishing winter clothes in Russia come in various camo patterns instead of solid bright colors. That is because if you make them in camo you can also sell them to hunters. So targeting both demographics with single product just makes more sense.

Hey Daniel, greetings from Podmoskovie (Moscow region), that's a really nice video. Glad that you like a place where you've settled and that our country gains such nice humble people. Winter here already is coming to an end, so it was pleasurable to watch this quiet snowy place. What a great guy this fishing storekeeper is, so wholesome. Vsego dobrogo Daniel!

1. Free Water. Go to any park in Los Angeles and you’ll find water fountains that give free, safe to drink, treated water. You can also find public trash cans at these parks. There are many many parks in Los Angeles. 2. Los Angeles is a very expensive and rich city, with amazing weather. It is a magnet for poor people because we provide services for the poor, and unlike Siberia, if you sleep outside, you will not freeze to death. Our coldest night is likely a warm spring day there. 3. I appreciate that you feature life in such a far off place. But please show us things like, what people’s homes and bathrooms look like.
everything you said it’s true. But the mountain drinks cannot fill the amount of water people here take 😅 sure the weather is nice but seasons are awesome
Daniel - As you know I'm all about Russia & moving there someday. But, the more I hear about your life back in LA, the more I start to worry about society down there? Not sure if you've ever been up to Washington State? But, in every City I've lived in, I've always become close with Store Owners of Small Businesses I shop at. Most are immigrants & they come to my home Poker Games & I really get to know them! In fact when my friend lost his job, he couldn't afford to travel & have Thanksgiving with his family. The local Store Owner found out & drove 50 KM to brim him a home cooked meal that his Korean Wife made for him!
yes it’s possible to have the things I have here in Russia in America. I didn’t choose to move here I didn’t want to live in Russia I wanted to visit Siberia and fell in love with life here
Thank you for tuning in! I love when Canadians make this comparison because I agree Siberia has a lot in common with many parts of Canada. We are a lot more alike with each other! 🇨🇦 ❤️🇷🇺❤️🇺🇸
Wow Peruvian grapes in Siberia. Now, they need to import Peruvian Paltas (avocados) too. Daniel you are doing an excellent job opening the eyes of the American people that the Russians are good people and completely opposite from the propaganda that we see here in the states.
it's nice to hear you pronounce some of the terms in your videos. The Great Patriotic War, my city, our people, our government, as if you have been living in Russia all your life)

Hi! I should say your channel is the one of the most pleasant and relaxing thing about Russia on UA-cam. I m also following the channel of an Australian girl who lives in Novosibirsk now. You are very very very nice and soulful people, very glad that you are here. I hope more people from western countries will come to Russia and share our values.
Very nice video. You are properly settled in. All the best, Dan. Showing around town and its inhabitants is great. Thank you for sharing. Best from London.
Your appreciation of my homeland makes me so much more at peace with it in these crazy times. Thank you! Keep up good work👍 Bring your friends here, let's make our connections stronger💜
You should know that there are many more Westerners who are in love with Russia and Russians than the media says. As Generale De Gaulle said, Europe must be built from the Atlantic to the Urals I am in love with Russia and Putin, who only defended your culture, your language and values, far from the decadence of the West, which lives under the pressure of the Wokists of Cancel Culture and ideology of the kind So be proud of your Russia

@WildSiberian Thanks, Brother, for the quick comeback.. I did a big bounce after I fully retired but went from a POS blue state to a very, very red state.. A quick story. Me prior service Navy, but retired from the Army in 96. I then did another 16+ years as a DAC at Range Control at a major large western Army Manuaver area training post. Which gave me the opportunity to interact with lots of service members prior to their deploying to Iraq and A-stan. One of the most memorable was a kid, who was Rusian born, imagrated first to Isreal, then to the U.S. He joined the Army shortly after arriving in the U.S. and dedicated himself to becoming an American citizen in addition to being a sharp dedicated Trooper. A Patriot to the Max. 👍🇺🇲🇺🇲..
Большое спасибо за это видео и личное время, которым вы делитесь с нами. Большое спасибо, что показываете англоязычным людям ту часть нашей жизни, которую мы сами не все видим. Thank you so much for this video and the personal time you share with us. Thank you so much for showing English-speaking people a part of our lives that we don't all see ourselves. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, such small villages began to slowly die. Young people aspire to big cities and the metropolitan administrations of their counties. I subscribed to your channel, I did not expect to see an American in Russia at all.
awesome... love this content where you talk to people, today you showed us a fish store, ( I personally don't fish) but I do shop ,obviously, and the difference of a store in Siberia and here in the states. Another thing is I notice is super bright there because of the snow glare, im surprised you don't wear sunglasses thanks for another outstanding video!

Such water columns used to be everywhere in small towns and villages, fruit prices surprised me very much, I thought they would be higher, although you have a large railway and there are no problems with delivery, maybe that's why the prices are not so high! With automatic subtitles, there are some problems, English appeared and the translation into Russian disappeared
@@Wild-Siberia Yes, but after you finished talking to him, the subtitles disappeared completely, okay, let's wait, maybe the neural network will create them, usually it happens after a while

Awesome, I do enjoy watching the way people live (in this case doing their shopping). This video gets us closer to the reality of nice life in a small town in Siberia.
Ive got a lot more to show one day on the channel. I really fought a long time over there and honestly its my dream to meet a Soviet ERA Afghan War veteran. Its honestly one video I wish to make to show the world that Americans and "soviets" we are so alike and through veteran stories and love for each other thats a great way to break that ice. It hurts me to know that my country is at odds with Russia. I hope you enjoy this coming up video brother 👍🏻
@@Wild-Siberia Unfortunately, yes. I hope people of the world understand that we have nothing to fight for between each other. I'm talking about common people. The idea of making an interview with a Soviet Afghan veteran is real. There are many of them in the former Soviet Union countries. My father-in-law is one of them. But he never talks about the war. I never ask. Still, maybe some of the veterans will see your channel and will contact you I hope.
@@Wild-Siberia Afghan veteran who lived in a flat in my entrance just a few floors above left the place, hope that he didn't drunk himself out of this life. @@tomtovski9270 people of war usually don't talk about war. My grandpa never said a word about the Great Patriotic War except the moment when he was saved from a burial in ground due to bombardment - he was as you can name it commanding officer (but he wasn't officer, just sergeant) of the AA gun. Their gun was bombed and as a result he became part of the landscape with only his shiny boots sticking out of the ground. One of the passing by troopers did like the boots and after taking them off found that my grandpa was alive because of his warm feet. That was in 1941-1942. Grandpa before that already had his 3 years in army and was readying himself for retirement from active duty but the Great Patriotic War began. After that bombardment he became concussed. He finished the war in Berlin. He never ever spoke anything about the war except for that case with his shiny boots.
Can you imagine what a public water point like that would look like in L.A. right now? Holy cow. It'd be the worlds largest outdoor bath. LOL. What you've experienced there still exists in small rural towns in the U.S.. I'm guessing small town life is pretty similar worldwide. The further you are from the big cities, the better off you are. Out here where folks is normal! Hahaha. The population of the entire county is 5,000 people.

I love your town. It reminds me of some of the very small and unique towns in Eastern Washington. But yes suburbia America is ugly. Same houses. Same colors. And your right about it's all about business. I'm glad Russians are down to earth because we've lost this uniqueness in the US.
Yes one big thing I dislike about the suburbs is the feeling I get like im in a matrix. This gives a lot more life to reality so many different houses! Thanks for watching Matt!

I have question regarding the water well. I live in alaska, can you post info on that. When it’s -35 the pipes will freeze, I was just wondering how they keep it running when it’s cold. Thanks
the borehole pump is located underground, below the depth of the ground cutting. after the water is supplied, the pump draws the residues back into the well. in severe frosts, "kolonka" of course sometimes freezes, but it is warmed up with the help of a gas burner. Hello from Chelyabinsk!)
pipes are laid at a depth of 2.2-2.5 meters. below frost level. After water is drawn, the residues drain through the valve. трубы проложены на глубине 2,2-2,5 метра. Ниже уровня промерзания. После забора воды остатки стекают через клапан.
Yes of course the fishing is insane in spring and summer pike and perch! I live on the shores of the largest lake in the world check out some other videos showing the lake frozen. When spring comes you'll see me fish a lot I spend all day fishing!

@WildSiberian Thanks, Brother, for the quick comeback.. I did a big bounce after I fully retired but went from a POS blue state to a very, very red state.. A quick story.
