My husband’s grandfather died in the war in the Pacific. Everyone’s young men died in WW2, Russia just has a massive population compared to most European countries and the sacrifice was greater.
Dan and Ksenia, great video. Thank you from both of us. Beautiful, picturesque, close to nature, quaint. I'm an advanced road cyclist, used to train on busy roads. My advice is to always ride in the direction of traffic and never against it. From a psychological standpoint, it's less stressful not to constantly see cars coming head-on, with the looming feeling they might hit you at any moment. When vehicles approach from behind, their natural reflex tends to be to shift slightly away from the cyclist or any other obstacle on the right when overtaking, which provides greater safety for everyone on the road. I really like your videos. I'm in love with Russian culture and its people, at some point in my life, I'd like to visit such a magnificent country.
interesting thanks for the advice. My experience in war truly makes my back to the oncoming traffic hard🤣 front towards enemy to see what’s coming is soothing for me
Those nature shots: If you let the camera roll for an hour with the sound on, the sound of the water, the birds, whatever, you could have a whole separate channel with just the relaxing beautiful nature. It’s so pretty there.
That looked like a little lake to me, I always had good luck catching pike on a red and white daredevil spoon, and that perch looked big enough to eat. Great Video!

@@allenhill1223 Ive done it a few times but I surely do need practice because I don't do it often. I know they have like a lot of bones and it's a strange fillet to make if youre not experienced.
6:33 I suppose it depends on if a given body of water has both a stream of water flowing into and from it. It's only a lake if it has both. If there is no stream of water flowing out of it you can call it a swamp.
This has a river that flows into it and then it flows into Lake Baikal :D This is a body of water that feeds Lake Baikal :D part of the video you can see the river actually.

Good to see you guys having a great time as usual. Nice biking, btw ask Ksenia to lift up her bike sit a bit, it will be more comfortable, as your lower leg should be able to fully stretch while pedaling. This August I already have a planned trip to Arhyz, so probably won't be able to come hang out with you guys. Maybe next time!
unfortunately she cannot put the seat up because it’s her 5th time using a bike on this video. she’s very small in height and learning to start pedaling once she learned to pedal and balance she will have the seat up. we are aware that it will be better for her but currently she cannot ride if it’s too high she falls 😂 thanks so much for the advice and if you’re anywhere near our town! well you’ll find us easily
Yes its for sure an appreciated suggestion but the thing is she has ridden a bike a total of 5 times in her life and she can't start pedaling right if its higher XD she's learning barely and when she gets comfortable it will be risen to the appropriate height. Thanks so much for watching my friend Thanks for the suggestion it means you care and she's thankful she just needs a little more experience. 2-3 times she's falling off at the start any higher seat and she's not going anywhere lol
This is like Himalayas but less steep and broader roads but still looks difficult and hats off to her, hopefully you rode most part ahead of her except when making videos

I assure you its going to be fine ;D
Another amazing video. These styles are so amazing and satisfying to watch
Glad you like them! I do make different styles depending on the mood. Like our live video from earlier today. Tomorrow is a city price video so theres tons of options >_
@@Wild-Siberia I sadly couldn’t watch it as I was at a religious school. But I won’t miss the next
@@YayaToure1247 all is good 🙏🏻
Lampi in finnish language. Small lake ( pond ).
Thank yoU! That makes sense!
We have a lot of deer but not street cows That's so cool.
😂🙏🏻 We have horses, cows, sheep, wild dogs, bears and deer too any random day you can see 1/2 of the ones I named
The 9-year old on the moped had me dying! Great video! 😂 🇺🇸 🇷🇺
I laughed so much when I saw that its comedy!
Thanks for always supporting my dear friend👍🏻🙏🏻 Hello to Novosibirsk!
Those cows still have horns! Here (rural Michigan) las vacas no tienen cuernos! They generally are used to bicycles but are kept in protected fields, and milked twice daily! On fishing, that is a swamp -- shallow and only rainwater as tributary. Before the SMO, there were many Russian fisherman on Facebook -- beautiful flycasting in mountain streams. I bet Lake Baikal has large species - sturgeon? Thank you for this bike trip -- Saludos de las orillas del Lago Michigan!
Yes, it is. The Baikal sturgeon can grow to two meters long and weigh up to 140 kg.
This body of water is formed from a river, this same lake/swamp feeds Lake Baikal 5 minutes away;D
She did amazing I would of been a little scared. Great video
Thanks so much for watching! She braved it for sure!
Thank you 😇💪🏻
Life there seems to be much more sedate!
Quite sure that the flowers at 08:13 were rosebay willowherb,
get yourselves making some Ivan Chai.
Yes ive heard about this Ivan Chai from my friend Survival Russia ;D I will see about making this next year with time I will learn the flowers the mushrooms and other things thanks so much for watching!
it means a lot to read such comments thanks a lot 🙌🏻🙏🏻 Спасибо друг
Always a fun day out with you and Ksenia.
She's awesome
I’m happy for you Dan, I hope I get to visit Siberia after things get back to normalcy.
I hope you can too!
My experience in war truly makes my back to the oncoming traffic hard🤣 front towards enemy to see what’s coming is soothing for me
6:28 I would call it a pond
good option!
@@Wild-Siberia simply because it's much smaller than a regular lake, and much deeper than a regular swamp
Those fish, especially the perch are great for eating. Perch fillets are amazing
That’s a beautiful little lake. Love the mountains and shadows. Nice to see!
Glad you enjoyed it! Tomorrow’s video is going to be the wilderness of Siberia
Yesenia catching the heck outta some fish was that Talent or Luck
Yea Ksenia is an awesome fisher!
"What are they thinking when they see me on the lake Baikal with my fishing rod?" Lol I would never ever think you aren't Russian, dude
I love fitting in in fact with my gorka in the swamps I mentally feel Russian LOL
Those nature shots: If you let the camera roll for an hour with the sound on, the sound of the water, the birds, whatever, you could have a whole separate channel with just the relaxing beautiful nature. It’s so pretty there.
Couldn't agree more! but I wouldn’t know how to make the files so large work 😅
You are from Slyudyanka? :D
Swamp usually implies stagnant water in a flooded forest so dead or dying Tree's in the water I believe you're at a lake there not a swamp
Hell yea I love this comment because Ksenia will read it and be forced to call it a lake LOL
@@Wild-Siberia nope. Swamp😈
Da, love videos of serene nature, SlyouDANka!🏞
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
beautiful place and beautiful wife your lucky bro greetings from texas .
HEY! Thanks for supporting from Texas! thanks for watching we appreciate the support I truly hope the images were nice for you.
That looked like a little lake to me, I always had good luck catching pike on a red and white daredevil spoon, and that perch looked big enough to eat. Great Video!
thanks for watching thanks a lot for the comment! maybe next year we will try perch! we catch some way bigger so for sure will try them
Wonderful video Daniel, beautiful scenery, thanks for sharing, God bless brother !
Thanks for stopping by and always being positive!
I'm originally from West Virginia now living in Florida and the landscape with wooded hills reminds me of alot of West Virginia.Take me home country roads!!
that’s awesome to hear this is funny because I play Country Roads song on our phone when we bike 🤯🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow, the view is really amazing!
🙏🏻
I would like to ask if there is a fish market in town? If there are so many fishing boats on the lake, it must be somewhere.
yea many fish markets will sell the fresh fish for sure we see them
I would live there if I could. It's the most beautiful place in the world.
Its really special at least come visit next summer
Senya bicycle seat is to low, that is not good.Raise the seat noticeably higher, this way it only hurts especially the knees.
She currently cannot get on the bike its her 5th time using a bike in all her life. Please refer to some of the other comments like this for an answer I appreciate your concern youre awesome! 😎
@@Wild-Siberia Ok, I didn't know she only recently started cycling 😁
BTW, i guess Ksenia has job , but i don t remember you talk about that. I remember she s graduated in economic.
Yea Ive mentioned it on a few lives Ill probably talk about it all over again in the future
Good job Sonya, my gosh I was so scared for you when you were heading down the hill, with those cars it really looked scary 😮!
Yes it was
What kinds of wild animals would you find in your area?
Yes, I love these videos! They make my heart happy!
Bears, Fox, Deer, many types of birds and fish.
So cool to see those cows in a residential neighborhood!🐄🐄🐮💖 Awesome lawnmowers.😂
Wow, extreme bike riding…
Oh yeah! 🤣 for ksenias 5th time ever on a bike
Silver spoon hook looks like it would work well with over cast
Yes I had some spoons and we catch every day with them I like to change things up. You. really know your stuff !
Well yes I grew up visiting my grandparents on sauk lake Minnesota. So you need tips on cleaning northern pike bone out holler. Start at the y bone. Back knife against bones to lift them. Cut out. Its a skill
60 years experience hunting and fishing.
@@allenhill1223 Ive done it a few times but I surely do need practice because I don't do it often. I know they have like a lot of bones and it's a strange fillet to make if youre not experienced.
Start with the y bone or call it the rib. You will learn. You tube shows it also. Good fillet knife a must. f
@@Wild-Siberia Okay, then I don't know. Perhaps it doesn't have a strongly defined shoreline? I have no idea why this would be a swamp then.
@@Ryan_Winter yea who knows 😂
Well done Xenia, good cycling. 💪💓
Thank you 😇
Cool video🤘💚
Thanks ✌
Heavenly place ❤
It's just amazing I wish everyone would visit!
That’s some kids adventures, few next to river another driving a moped…❤
Yes the kids at the river just living their best lives alone with kids no parents :D
The marvels of nature!!
Thanks for watching a classic
Thanks Dan!!!!!
Beautiful place to settle down.
it’s a must
No, I couldn't live there, but it is a nice video. I am also Mexican and a 10th generation Angelino. I love LA ❤❤❤
that’s awesome wow 10 generations amazing
Greeting from Serbia
hello brother!
Hello Daniel and Ksenia! Looks like Ksenia needs to raise her bike seat a little bit, so she could ride her bike better. Just a suggestion 🙂
Love your energy bro, and you are very cool and nice couple . I would love to live in some small place like that ...
It’s peaceful small but calm thanks for watching the classics
Greetings from Norway. Love your videos. People have seen UFOs dive into Lake Baikal🙂🛸
Hello Norway! I can’t even imagine what’s in that lake it’s absolutely deep and it’s the oldest lake in the world 😆
Loved the boys on moped
