As regular tourist paths of the West (and co.) were closed for russians, local tourism got skyrocketing temp of improvement. For better understanding: since Soviet Union gone, "West" and ex-soviet republics literally devoured russian local tourism - Crimea until 2014 was one of the most visitable places by russian citizens outside the Federation, right together with Europe, Turkey, Egypt and maybe few more places in Asia. So when doors were locked, local buisness took the part in replacing of the foreign influence.
Im going to have to get my Mexican passport too I wouldn’t feel good about traveling as an American with everything that’s going on but very beautiful, serene countryside and lake. Keep it up with the great videos. 👍🇲🇽🇺🇸
I find those old Soviet folk tale cartoons really interesting, especially to see pagan stories told from a communist (one was supposed to ideally be irreligious/atheist) perspective. I forget the name of the Soviet coyote and roadrunner show with the wolf and rabbit, I think it was "ну пагоди"
Yes, there is such a cartoon "Ну, Погоди!". There are also Soviet fairy tales: "Морозко", "Сказка о царе Салтане", "Огонь, Вода и Медные Трубы", "Илья Муромец", "Варвара-краса, длинная коса", "Руслана и Людмила." By the way, George Martin's work overlaps a lot with Russian fairy tales. And the series "House of the Dragon" at all copies even the folk attire of ancient Russia.
People outside Russia might appreciate a walking video around a Dacha plot explaining there significance to Russian culture also I'm curious as to what can be grown in gardens around lake Baikal..

I fishing there in 50 km to the east, in the small mountain river. It was 15 years ago, when i was in geologist expedition around there. But all i get is about twenty tiny Thymallus(хариус). And we eating them without any cooking - just with salt)

Everyone in the world should visit Baikal at least once!
I love this video! The landscape is like North Idaho! Except no Orthodox Churches by the lakes.
Yes I love reading comments where they say it looks similar to places I know like America or Canada!
Just sending your couple my vibes💜💜💜🤗 you're amazing guys. Thanks a bunch for sharing these brilliant views of my motheland
🇷🇺🫡🙏🏻
Thank you very much new video in about 30 minutes 🙏🏻
@@Wild-Siberia ❤❤❤❤❤
I think it means no drinking and swimming , in Canada these signs are common. That lake looks like lakes in Canada but you can swim in them. The lakes are cold in BC because they are fed by the mountains. She is so pretty, your a lucky man. Love you videos, your so happy in them
I always am thankful when you comment thanks for the support yes these lakes are cold but still warmer than baikal
As lovely as the Pacific Northwest, Banff in Canada, or the Alps. Wonderful Russia has this wilderness.
Thank you for watching 🙏🏻
Beautiful place ❤
I agree! I hope many people can come explore siberia!
What a gorgeous area. It would be so peaceful to spend a week there. (Could you tell me the correct spelling for Senya's name as the cc's keep spelling it differently.) Where is the nearest town?
Ksenia (English ) Ксения (Russian)
Yes like our friend mentions in English it’s Ksenia the translator is so horrible 😂
14:53 Cool cladding.
It was truly unique
Thanks for the support I’m humbled by the growth of the channel. I just hope more people see Siberian Russia for what it really is!
Magnificent nature !
Daniel, Question. Did I see what I think I saw ? Was Senya showing something off on her hand and you both turned to the sun to make it sparkle ? If so, congratulations !
Very good observation! Yes ive been engaged with her since last year ;D
@Wild Siberia congratulations, Daniel❤ we're now looking forward to a beautiful siberian wedding❤

Yes they are Siberia is vast with natural beauty!

I drive a paid off 2016 Toyota Camry XLE. When I move I'll gift it to my best friend.
The lake and walkways are great. Nice nature. Swans and chipmunk were cool.
A nice getaway. Glad to see you and Ksenia doing well.
Thanks brother and by the way here there’s good cars for 5-10k brand new and nature is abundant it’s all here 🙏🏻
@@Wild-Siberia Glad to hear the price is lower for vehicles, Daniel. Over here we pay an arm and a leg as you know. Do I need any special documents to buy a vehicle and drive it in Russia? Early retirement is getting closer. Siberia interests me. I have business plans so the more capital private funds I have to operate a business is important for what I want to accomplish for years to come.
Amazing trip ❤
:D
Wow..really fantastic places..❤
yes 🙏🏻 thanks for watching
Thanks for the information and thanks for supporting the channel with your comment!
I live in a Shire and I like second breakfast.....and my feet are pretty hairy.....and I'm tiny🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful video dude😁💚🤘
Thanks brother thanks to see you commenting :D
Im going to have to get my Mexican passport too I wouldn’t feel good about traveling as an American with everything that’s going on but very beautiful, serene countryside and lake. Keep it up with the great videos. 👍🇲🇽🇺🇸
Thanks for watching and good on you for choosing that route ☝🏻
yes especially in these areas where it’s cold like baikal 🙏🏻
Thank you I agree
This place took the cake🤩
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I find those old Soviet folk tale cartoons really interesting, especially to see pagan stories told from a communist (one was supposed to ideally be irreligious/atheist) perspective. I forget the name of the Soviet coyote and roadrunner show with the wolf and rabbit, I think it was "ну пагоди"
OH YES! The old cartoons are absolute gold!
Yes, there is such a cartoon "Ну, Погоди!".
There are also Soviet fairy tales: "Морозко", "Сказка о царе Салтане", "Огонь, Вода и Медные Трубы", "Илья Муромец", "Варвара-краса, длинная коса", "Руслана и Людмила."
By the way, George Martin's work overlaps a lot with Russian fairy tales. And the series "House of the Dragon" at all copies even the folk attire of ancient Russia.
@@DmitriyNeizvestniy you did not mention also "Leopold the Cat Adventures" 😉
I drive an American car with 500hp... The Lada is nice for where you are, no traffic, open road, good fuel econ.
Really cool. Very nice. Wish I could be there.
Come visit 🫡
That’s the plan next year my friend 🙏🏻
My wife says same Ksenya - NO swimming or drinking. A agree with you Dan - that makes no sense but that what sign states
I couldn’t believe it but sure it is what it is 😂 but people still drink and swim I’m sure
Ksenia is always right 😂🙏🏻 yes I’m told there’s tons of people in summer still a nice place to visit in cooler times then perhaps 👏🏻
Brother if I could live there I would never leave. Russia is really really beautiful. I’ve never seen such an amazing place! I hope one day to visit
Russia is very welcoming I’m sure you’d enjoy touristing here 👍🏻
People outside Russia might appreciate a walking video around a Dacha plot explaining there significance to Russian culture also I'm curious as to what can be grown in gardens around lake Baikal..
I will see into showing a DACHA :D
Thanks for the appreciation 🙏🏻
I love your videos so much:)
Thanks so much I truly appreciate it!!
10k congratulations 🥳 🎉
Thanks a lot!
This is the best place on earth 👏🏻thanks for watching
@@miklemusikhin6880 we also have baikal 🫡😊
No thank you for everything!
🙌🏻☝🏻 thanks for such a great comment very informative thank you
There are certainly a lot of fish in that lake👍🙂
Cool squirrel! :) This one was more lucky than the last one, with a severed ear!🤣
yea this chipmunk was living so happily
Things are coming to life and so is my spirit thanks for watching!
Daniel and Xenia are both such cute people! I like you very much!
Thank you so much for being kind🙏🏻 Your support meant a lot
Awesome cars you drive thank you for the kind words on the 10k achievement! Ksenia is always right!
Thanks Danny! 😎
No thank you for supporting 🙏🏻
Well done again.
Thank you so much for the support!
Verry cool video! Thank you sir!

But it's so beautiful place!!!!
Great video!👍👍👍Thank you🤝
