@@mommynmum yeah, maybe. That's a hot pink and the one that Ishita wore is actually a Barbie pink but I think it can be balanced by adding dark lip liner. It balance the shift from your dusky skintone to the bright pink lipstick.

There are so many things jo camera pe achchi lagti hai par real life mein nhi and considering ki woh ek red carpet event mein thi, use camera or real life dono mein achcha dikhna tha. So, I'm sure ki woh lipstick real life mein bhi achchi lag rahi hogi :)

even bright orange looks odd on brown skin sometimes. like Vegas volt washes me out or i look like ate penny wise.
Pink lipsticks have nothing to do with complexion however, the undertone is what matters. Find the pink or any lip shade for that matter which complements your undertone. If you have a warm undertone, opt for a warm toned pink lipstick & cool toned pink if you have a cool undertone.
Try adding a touch of yellow to make it warm toned & a touch of blue for cool tone

Like how some people have a little yellow in their skin, some people look pink & some have olive colour reflecting through their skin. The best way to determine you undertone is look at your veins, if there are more green veins then you have a warm undertone & if you have more blue veins or purple veins then you are of a cooler undertone. However, if you have same proportion of both green & blue veins then you have a neutral undertone.
So a warm toned lipstick or foundation would have more of yellow, peach or orange in them & a cool toned lipstick or foundation would have blue, pink or purple

@@anushasundar5647 go for peach, coral, pinky corals, browns, orange toned red, maroon. (You can look for these shades when choosing a nude lipstick as well)
I actually like pink on my dusky complexion. It has to do with your undertone not your complexion. I go for purple toned pinks and avoid pinks with yellow or white bases. Also a deeper pink like a hot fuschia looks amazing on Indian skin.
Fuchsia doesn't suit dusky Indian tones. Unless you are very very fair. I know. Bcoz It doesn't suit me. 😃

This is accurate. The pink shade does not look good on Indian skin. Seen so many friends, relatives and my own face look weird with that pink shade on.

No it looks good , try to do a light red lipstick and pink one mixup , it’ll do wonders . Maybellne pioneer is a good option too

Don't be disheartened. There are many shades of pink...just choose according to your undertone
I think the issue is that this lipstick has a lot of white base in it. You can use bright shades but with warmer undertones that aren't pastel!
Everybody is not dark in India. It is so diverse. Pink looks good on many pale skin and yellow fair undertones. Suits dusky as well as fair skin tones..

I am south asian and i wear pink lipsticks. I use a darker lipliner to line my lips and then fill in with candy yum yum or whatever pink lippy is available. I own quite a few.
Pink looks good depending on shade we select as per our undertones.
There are indian woman are fair or even white. A different pink suits them while the deeper complections should choose pinks that are inclined towards red or purple shades.
Or use mauve base lipstick...it looks so naturally pink and beautiful on indian skin.....example uncuffed by fenty
You should say brown skin instead of Indian skin, because in India also there are so many skin tones, and people with fair skin tone looks too good in pink and people with brown skin looks too good in red or maroon.

You can actually use the bright pink if you use the same concept of lining your lips with brown, purple or dark red. Black people do this all the time when wearing shades said to be "not for that skin tone".

I have a wheatish skin tone and pink is my fav. Lip colour, love how it instantly brightens my face. You can choose a pink lipstick with a hint of brown, peach, red or any dark pink lipstick that will suit Indian skin tones. Miss Claire lip cream in shade 58 is soo good, a lovely pink nude, only that it doesn't stay for long but a lovely creamy formula!

No pink shades doesn't look weird on Indian skin tones, apart from celebrities I've seen women rocking light pinks and other shades of pink. Wearing shades of lipstick is totally dependent on confidence and skin tone.

This gave me childhood flashbacks. My first ever lipstick that my mom bought me was when i was in 5th or 6th class that too on the occasion of my cousin's wedding and it was the exact same pink colour. Oh gosh i looked like a clown with that shade and my mom allowed me to walk around like that. I wonder why my self confidence is so low maybe because my childhood pics are still very much present to give me nightmares😂

Unpopular opinion- all those weird shades of pink except deep bright pink works well on me berry/plum on the other hand makes me look like I dunked entire glass of red wine. Not sure if it’s skin undertone that’s making a difference cuz my undertone isn’t warm.

Pink lipstick actually look great on indian skin tone... you need to choose the correct undertone for you according to your skin... people with light skin can go for chickflix by praush... people with medium skin tone can go for diana from nykaa ultra matte and people with deep skin can rock any Plum with pink undertone... 💗

I don’t agree with the statement about pink lipstick on Indian. I use pink lipstick n my face complexion is neither white nor dusky . But I have got compliments from British ladies about my lipstick so many times. Before using I had a negative notion about pink lipstick. I think it matters most how you carry it.
It looked good on PC though because she might be a Dark Winter. Please also look into seasonal colour since India is a vast country and we all might have different undertones. So it all depends on undertones, contrast, chroma and hues

Finally I got to know that I'm not the only one who thinks that this kind of pink looks weird on me and I also started opting for warm pink instead and now it looks better
My brother and sister both have paper white skin with naturally bright pink lips especially my brother...he has that automatic pink lips, and I so envy him lol pluse he have naturally big lashes and i am always to my mom like "i am girl i better had those traits"... tbh but in my case pink lipstick still suits my light tan skin

Mac- elegance is learned(not at all long lasting but the best shade)
Mac- flat out fabulous (best magentaish shade)/ used to use a revlon balm of the same shade earlier
Mac- soar lip liner
Mac - a little tamed

Another thing one can do is to apply the lipstick only on the centre (like Koreans). I do that for my nude pinks. But most importantly, it should match your undertone and there should be some contrast between your color and the color of the lipstick
My all time favourite pink was pure amaranthe by loreal. I still have like a tiny bit left, definitely expired but I still have it for shade reference 😅

I could have taken few makeup tips in my life till now so that i would not have any regret wearing something that doesn't compliment me at all and i looked like a clown at most of my counsins weddings although i was a teen at that time but still it hurts to be a makeup disaster at a family event. So guys take the advice of people and don't be an artist on yourself unless you have degree or diploma in makeup.
