Good job. I’ve rebuilt many carbs but never the Ford 2100/4100. So I appreciate the detailed explanations. The post who thinks it’s too much detail didn’t need to watch this. For the guys who need the detail, thank you.
This guy has no concept of "Float Level"
Haynow! What a find. The same carb. & same rebuild kit that I have. You took me threw it. 55 years old and it's my first carb. rebuild. The first job on my restoration of my 1968 Ford F-100 4x4 390. Thanks for the help.
I'm really grateful for the time you took to make this. Watching it gave me enough confidence to tackle a rebuild on my Mustang 2100, and it went super smooth thanks to all your tips. I'm much happier to have done it myself and have an understanding of how the thing works! Mentioning the size of the spanners and sockets required was great too- being in a metric country it allowed me to just go buy the imperial tools I needed straight away. Much appreciated!
I have to say that was one of the best DIY carburetor rebuild documentaries I have ever seen! Yes, documentary. He was professional, thorough and he was very confident. Thank you so much for all of your help!
Thanks for the great video! I attempted to rebuild the carb on my 65 ford 3/4....now I can re-do it correctly!! thanks again for your kind assistance and expert knowledge to help this poor fiddle player out!
I want to sincerely thank you for posting this. I was able to rebuild my Motorcraft 2100! I took it off the engine, rebuilt it and had it back on and running in 24 hours.
Great video, in the process of rebuilding my 2100 on my 1970 Mustang, been 25 years since I last rebuilt it but thanks to your refresher course I'm ready to get started on it while referring back to this video, thanks a lot!
This just helped me get my '66 mustang running again. Thank you for making this!
Excellent video. I just watched it today and rebuilt the 2100 for my 1966 Country Sedan. I loved the attention to detail and very well explained. One of the venturi tubes was plugged so I just kept spraying it like you mentioned. Thank you for posting this, now my wagon just purrs.
Excellent video! Probably the best 2100 rebuild on UA-cam. Keep us updated on your truck.
Just rebuilt the carburetor on my 1967 Mustang using your video. Thank you for taking the time to produce such a thorough video.
never touched a carburetor before watching this video and just successfully rebuilt the 2100 on my 64 f100! thanks so much!
Wow, FANTASTIC video, thanks so much!!!! You explained things SO clearly, with plenty of real-world info beyond just the tech stuff.
Want to post my appreciation for this run through. Just rebuilt my 2100 on my 1965 Mustang. I’ll update how it runs soon! Thanks for your virtual assistance!
I'm going to add my gratitude to the many who have already expressed theirs. Working on my '67 Fairlane, and thankfully the original Autolite 2100 carburetor was part of the deal (some other ridiculously tiny thing had been installed -- to save fuel!!). But the original carbie had all sorts of bits missing and incorrectly installed, so this vid. has been a lifesaver of a reference for me. Thanks so much for doing it and uploading... we'd be stuffed without guys like you taking the trouble and time to do this! Muchas gracias from Peru.
Thank you sir🤟 super helpful. Put the video on and followed along and now my 66 camper special is ready to go. Great video🤙
This was probably one of the best carb rebuild video I’ve watched, it was very detailed in the items i had questions with. Thank you.
Great video, thank you. I just rebuilt my first carburetor today thanks to your video.
Brilliant Video. It answered all my questions regarding the 2100 carburetor on my 65 Mustang. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
