Keith was the legend man if you want a kind of bluegrass song by him that you might not have heard don’t cheat in our hometown you’ll also get to hear Ricky Skaggs at the beginning of their career I believe Keith would’ve been in his early teens

This is a wonderful song. I really relate to the message, the arrangement is great, and Kieth is terrific as always. This is from Keith's final album released in in 1995, after his death, "Wherever You Are Tonight". The album contained ten tracks all written by Whitley himself. This song was co-written by Keith and Don Cook. It's a shame this album didn't receive very much attention since it really is some great work. Thanks Monika for a terrific request, and Don for another wonderful reaction!!!

I definitely hear a Don Williams sound and influence here. I did see Don Williams live. Keith Whitley was a major force in country music. He is great. Sad that he was gone too soon. May he rest in peace. Thanks for sharing this reaction video. Cheers! ✌️
