Hello, great video i expected more night photos comparison but awesome on day time comparison....
Awesome comparision! Deep, full of details, i was waiting for this ✌️ For me as a P50 Pro owner (Snap Version) there's not so much difference between both but i do prefer the Huawei overall. I just don't like the "contrasty" photos of the Honor. Video for me much better on the P50 pro especially the front camera, better color accuracy and dynamic range.

Thank you for the video ! Very good and detailed. Maybe it should have included more video comparisons like video recording in low light scenarios, hdr in video, etc. Other than that, perfect video !
Thank you. Usually I do a bit longer videos. I cut a lot here as it was requested. It is hard to get everything cramped up in under 30 minutes

my most awaited video!!! p50 pro is 2 points behind magic 4 ultimate in dxomark. are they right or wrong? im so excited to find out 😍 but anyhow, they both come from one company- huawei 😂😂😂

@@lltechview i can see that p50 pro has better dynamic range especially in video. magic 4 U has bad exposure of the sky, it's kind of blown out

@@pongoni7586 If you think so. Dxomark definitely had a different software version they tested. I am convinced that the main sensor is superior however in photos and videos. Honor is doing a great job there

Excellent comparison, thanks. It is very indecisive. Sometimes HUA sometimes Honor wins. I am disappointed with detail rendering on both, especially Non AI HiRes on HUA is really not good. How is that possible when both P/M40 have so good those modes. Nevertheless - if I had to choose between the two I will probably choose P50 - just because of colors in video. P50 has so calming pleasant colors output while Honor colors in video are tragic, harsh and contrasty - brrr ... just do not like them.

Yeah, it's close! So hard to pick the winner. Honor might get better though if they keep on updating the camera software.

Thank you for the video! Did you managed to install some third-party app for photography on all modules? I'm especially interested in so-called 'spectrum-enhanced module'. The mcpro24fps app can shoot video on that module but I couldn't find any analog for photography.
Did not find anything either so far.

Hi mate can you include the night photo and video comparison also? I think it's not very accurate if you just do the night mode feature in the evening session ☺️
There is a night mode photo comparison aswell. I only briefly mentioned the photos as there is not much to it
if you consider the price (at least in my country) the p50pro is the clear winner (700 vs 1300€).
i also like the more natural looking photos of the p50pro, i can always edit them to my likings with lightroom but i can't remove the artificial sharpness of the magic 4 ultimate.

It looks like the P50 Pro is holding a bit longer than it showed in the first test but still the larger battery means 10-15 minute longer battery life on the Honor. Though it has a larger battery than the P50 Pro

Also i had question does P50 pro utilise Monochrome sensor on every photo taken or photos taken at 1x or none,,, if you dont know you could cover Monochrome cam with finger for 1 pic and open for other to see difference... thanks

Thank you for such a wonderful review. Is the p50 pro your main phone? Is it possible live without Google? I'm looking for a phone with great camera. Currently I'm using OnePlus 7t Ang galaxy s21 and with OnePlus I'm in love with fluid software experience but with no good camera. S21 is the pain especially in hot environment it's screen gets too dark to see anything from it. Also it is very sluggish in performance as well. Camera is so so. Could you make teets if possible how p50 pro performs in hot direct sunlight ? I just was in Italy and this drove me crazy with s21. Also Samsung s21 battery life is awful.
I am using the P50 Pro as my main phone and never really need Google services as I came from Maemo later than Meego, BlackBerry 10 OS, SailfishOS and so on. So never really went into the Google prison. As for sunlight. I used it for several shots in the sun. The Kirin variant from China I have here is usually pretty cool. The Snapdragon variant available globally tends to get a bit hotter as the 888 Snapdragon is not the best in terms of thermals.
@@lltechview thank you for your reply. Unfortunately in Europe there is no kirin variant ad you know. Ordering from china is kinda tricky and risky. Sad that no choice is available in our Europe. For instance using Google Maps with s21 in +33 environment was actually unusable scenario. Even without sunglasses I barely saw anything from the screen. Also the phone body got so hot and unpleasant to touch and hold. How much the difference between s888 and Kirin in terms of the heat distribution? Is the cameras lens change tricky ? As far as I see from the videos there are no buttons to choose lens and only slider is available. Is it annoying ?
@@lab1r1nt The heat with the Kirin is much lower. As for the slider it works a bit like a zoom rocker from old camcorders. It works ok but I would rather have the option to have buttons aswell

Huawei is still the best in terms of photos. I wouldn't even look at Pixels, Xperias, iPhones if GMS were preserved in Huawei. Great job Huawei!
Yup, like I mentioned in the previous video, the colors on the Magic 4 are way too off....
Yeah the contrast is a bit high. But it nailed it interestingly on the flower shots. Though with other things in the shot its off which is something Honor should tweak. Especially also their tele zoom lense needs some colour adjustments.
@@lltechview I too was kinda surprised about the flowers. I was definitely expecting it to go wild...strangely enough it didn't.....Those things can be fixed in the future updates, but that depends on the company.
Looks like it comes down to preference. I like the P50 pro better. I'm curious to see how the new Mate 50 will be. I guess it has upgraded image processing.
mate 50 series get XMAGE ISP (upgraded from xd fusion pro on p40 series)

@@lltechview Its a 2.0 aperture only sorry i was comfused
@@lltechview It is a 1/2.5 sensor which means it is amazing for daytime photography especially with a 2.0 aperture to this very small sensor, it may results in better photos.
But i guess the software use it when the main giant sensor works if I'm not wrong, however i think the 4 pro out perform that 4 ultimate so far with what i see , probably the software needs a serious update to correct the yellow tint and the too slow shutter like you were saying.
Do you find the eg: Mate 40 pro 60fps quality considerably worse than 30fps?
Not really something I noticed as I did not record 4k 60fps

There is no announcement for the Ultra. This is why I doubt it will come to Europe sadly. But you'll never know. The Magic V has been spotted as global version in the wild already so maybe the Ultra will come aswell.

I have a question that baffles me. Is there a difference between the camera p50 pro snapdragon and kirin 🤔🤔
There should be a slight as they have different ISPs. Like you will some limitations with the snapdragon variant in certain modes and so on
what appears to me again is the main samsung GN1 sensor is just a gimmicky lens, The sensor let more light in but like xiaomi 11 ultra it is not good imo.
if you could compare the honor magic 3 pro plus vs both huawei phone it would be better.

Well, neither of them are exactly selfie camera kings. The videos were really underground. Your face was blurred and the background was sharp at the Videos
Das sieht in der Tat so aus. Ist aber nicht wirklich. Beim P50 Pro bin ich halt schon so weit weg, dass es nach unendlich fokussiert. Aber ja ich hab das schon in anderen Videos besser gesehen. Bein Magic 4 Ultimate gibts keinen Fokus. Da hängt es also daran wie weit ich es von meinem Gesicht halte
