Video's a tad shaky. Does the main sensor not have OIS or is it just fully EIS? Cause if it does then I wonder why there's no OIS+EIS steadied shots. Photos are just a tad over sharpened but overall colours are very true to life with no extra contrast. I usually prefer my shadows dark but not crushed but it's not too bad. This phone has balance pictures and the videos tho shaky has great sharpness and HDR that doesn't make it too flar. If priced right I'd say this is a great alternative to Samsung or Apple.

I haven't seen anyone review a smartphone camera takes a shot of outdoor images from indoors. That should test the ability of the sensors to capture clear images from both. For example, you're in a hotel room few feet from the window, take a shot and see the images are clear including the few feet indoor without flash or extra lighting. Just a suggestion.
The video is pretty Grainy especially when you pan the camera. The S22 Ultra also suffers from grainy footage while panning but its much more grainy on the Honor Magic 4 Pro. Photos look great though. Did you shoot the video in 10 bit mode and if there is, high bit rate? I wonder if the grainy artifacts could be fixed with a higher quality setting offered on the phone.

Video stability isn't that well... Maybe you should make more of it. I am currently using Meizu 16th.... In this device video have more stability i think.... Colours are really great in magic4pro

When I'm using zoom while making videos, quality goes extremely down, colours change, pixels show up and it takes a while to get good quality back again? Did you have that too or is something wrong with my one?
i personally use smartphones for capturing details of some rugs, outdoor the camera is perfect. but once i shoot some object up close with these colors , yellow and blue mix, the overall picture will become cold tone.. when i shoot red. it becomes pastel red.. =)
4k looks shakey. Hopefully software update can fix it. Sensors on huwawi /honor phones have always had great night shots, on the down side day time sky shots are usually slightly washed from the sensor
Why my m4p camera keep on "unable to connect camera", and i need to keep on clear cache, restart hp 😭😭. This is sickening. After restart, sometimes can use the camera, sometimes need to restart and restart again. At time i can use the camera, the pict is not that sharp, video also not clear

While the stabilisation seems to be quite alright, the quality itself is rather low, definitely not something that a 1000 Euro phone could brag about. And when zooming, it didn't even switch to the telephoto lens. Night time photos also look completely washed out.

The Main 50MP Camera does not have OIS. It's only the 64MP Periscope lens that's equipped with OIS.

When you zoom during the recording it skips from one camera to other. From 1x to 5x with the first and from 5x to 10x with the second.

FYI, the telephoto and ultrawide cameras cannot be used for recording videos. I was disappointed with that, but the main 50 Mp camera is quite good.
