I been bass fishing for 45 years. I don't know it all, learn everytime out. Just what works for me. Anytime you are fishing lakes, ponds rivers,. You always fish holes in grass, stumps by there selves , a drop off ledge, a grass line, both sides of it, any holes in middle of a big grass feild. The ditch line of a creek, coming out into the lake. A point that's diffrent. All these are irregularities, and need to b fished, match size color of what there feeding on, then you can develop a pattern. And 1 big tip, even in summer time. If you fishing a certain speed, and not catching any, SLOW DOWN YOUR RETRIVE! Sometimes you have speed up, but usually slow down.
I agree with this...I've often said that an aggressive bass will eat a fast presentation or a slow presentation. A bass that doesn't want to feed, will eat a slow presentation. Yes, there are occasional exceptions when a fast retrieve is better...that's usually cranking or fishing for open water schooling fish.
Great video, watching this video I realized that when I go bass fishing, I catch fish on the irregularities without even thinking about it. Like casting under trees or on the edge of the grass lines.
What sources do you use for weather predictions before planning a fishing trip? I personally use 3 different weather services and they rarely get it right. Maybe a video on your preps?
Great video and good information. I look to look at navionics after I get home to see why I caught fish in certain spots. Then duplicate it the next time.
Tyler, you work so hard and have gained some mad respect from me! I mean who else is putting out videos almost everyday! Thanks for all the information!
Tyler, thanks for providing so much fishing education. You do a great job teaching. But be aware of your background when producing videos. Try to keep the sun from blinding us. And something is wrong with the background in this video. Hint: You left a box blocking your sponsor’s name. The little man is gonna be pissed!
I am very confused about what you mean by “sun blinding you”. So please let me know. The box is blocking my own brands name so I am not too concerned about that
@@TylerBergerFishing - No worries; I was just trying to give you constructive feedback to help you out. Regarding the sun, sometimes a camera shot includes a bright sun behind someone when they are talking (not that you do this). I have seen this happen when someone is trying to show a lure or tying a knot. Very difficult to see when the sun is in the background. Regarding your Finn sign, I just wanted to bring it to your attention that you missed having a clear add in the shot. I know it’s yours, and just joked about your son being pissed. Just a suggestion to be sure everything is set for the best shot presentation. Not being critical!
