There seems to be some confusion about the amount of protein we should. The other docs/ nutritionists I’ve watched say high protein, low fat in 4-6 smaller meals a day. Is the low protein for more end stage cirrhosis?
hi; there is a table in Harrison that shows after cirrhosis we have systemic and splanchnic arterial vasodilators that leads to portal HTN. why we have vasodilator before HTN? the normal way is that first we have HTn then our body release vasodilators. Thanks :)
Thank you for saying that! 🤗 Yes and different levels of knowledge and different learning tracks lend themselves to different explanations and lengths of videos. Good luck in your studies!
When u write while explaining , it’s making the lecture less interesting. If u can use ninja’s mechanism that would be great & make it detail that hits all concepts . I had to quit watching b.c of those.
I love that this channel has incorporated videos related to nursing....not as detailed as the usual amazing videos from THE ninja nerd, he is truly amazing! ....one small criticism though videos giving info on such a complex organ which has so much public stigma related to it, with an ongoing big drive to myth bust on risk factors and causes for cirrhosis, your risk factor info should be a little more detailed to help raise awareness and educate those people not medically minded that it is not all substance abuse or weight related....you didn't mention other risk factors such as Genetic conditions (i.e haemochromatosis) auto-immune/cholestatic conditions (PBC, PSC, AIH) metabolic risk factors etc etc, ....but great video for nursing care 😊
The best cirrhosis video for nursing school I’ve EVER seen. Thank you so much .
Thanks!
I’m finally understanding the “why” behind the S/S, labs, meds, and interventions! It’s all making sense now. Thank you!

Really not detailed
Dr. Zack did the detailed vid in ninja nerd medicine channel. This vid was for nursing.
