Great video! Loved the Dallas Cowboys joke, lol. I'm sure this video is gonna help a lot of people install this kit. You would think Scooter Swap Shop would make their own installation videos, but they don't. You don't have to take the screw out holding that metal retaining wire holding the headlight bulb in. It is made to push on and it swings out of the way making it easy to remove and reinstall the bulb. I've seen a couple videos of people taking that screw out and you don't have to.
Wish I would have known that before I sent it flying 😅. Thanks for the tip, I hope others will see this comment and find it useful. Thanks for taking the time to comment! Fingers crossed on football season 😅
finally more content(: you’re my favorite youtuber making honda navi videos. i can’t wait until you get into the riding videos if you get cameras for it
Hi great video 👍🏼 . I did the ac dc conversion and installed a led front headlight only. For some reason I’m still getting a flickering on the front headlight. Not sure why. Any thoughts on this issue? Thank you
Thank you! I believe you may need to add a separate 10 fuse to get rid of the flickering. I'm not completely sure, but I do remember seeing something like that. I'll have to research some more. I hope that helps!
Hello Mike, I lost one of the plastic clicks from the panel. The ones that go in the below! Do you where can I get a click-plastic? I have a Honda Navi 2023
I am concerned with the brakes-no ABS, mind you they are linked, which adds to safety. What say you about the brakes? They could still lock up. I get that if they squeek you need to clean them. It's a good looking bike and there are so many mod vids out there.
@johndefalque5061 every bike will have its pros and cons. It's up to you to know your bikes realistic capabilities and ride accordingly. Be safe and know the bike's as well as your limits!
Really just for fun. I live close to restaurants retail and bars so figurd it would be a nice alternative with ease of parking. Not to mention the option to hall 2 people around.
No sir, I lost that functionality when I made the LED swap. However, I've read that there is a work around. I'm going to tinker a bit and if successful will post a video 🤙
Tried installing this kit today, COULD NOT get that brown wire clip out. I will try to press against that groove but I could've sworn i tried that....ugh!
It was a pain for sure. Just press down against the metal and make sure your screw driver is small enough to fit in that small plastic groove. Be patient, you'll get it.
Damn. I just got my led kit and it didn’t even come with that vague picture for instructions. Guessing they’re just banking on UA-cam videos like this one at this point.
@@mikey.mike. was able to get mine installed no prob with this video. Much appreciated. Only was a little worried I spliced the wrong wire since the 2 are so similar, but worked no prob. Now I'm just fighting to plug the front harness back together so I can get the OEM windshield on. lol
**IMPORTANT**
Disconnect the battery before working on electrical components.

Keep up the production, your channel will grow as sales for Navis grow!
Thanks! I appreciate the positivity 🙏

"the instructions are about as good as the Dallas cowboys in the postseason." As a cowboy fan, that line had me rollin'. Good stuff.
You feel my pain 😅
As another Dallas Cowboys fan, I agree.
"This is our year" 😅
Thank you for making this, really made this swap easy
Sweet! Glad to hear brotha 🙏

I really appreciate that 🙏
I definitely got a new action cam, so I'll be planning some future riding videos 🤙
Yeah, he is cute
Thanks for the video! After AC/DC convertion, can you replace turn singanl bulbs light to LED light also?
You can replace them. However, I believe you'll need resistors because you'll get hyper flash. I haven't done mine yet, so not 100% sure on this.
@@mikey.mike. Thanks, and have a happy new year!
@栄栄 Same to you! 🤙thanks for checking out my video!
I lost the one that I wasn't supposed to lose! Where can I get the plastic click?
Local dealer, or partzilla.com
best video i found on this thanks bro
Appreciate that brotha 🙏 make sure you check out my high beam indicator video as well!

Ok thank you I will try that.
The weird part is it only happens when the bike is started lol
@sheba6779 yeah once it warms up its fine. If I find any info on it I'll let you know!
Hello Mike,
I lost one of the plastic clicks from the panel. The ones that go in the below! Do you where can I get a click-plastic? I have a Honda Navi 2023
Try your local dealer. You can also visit partzilla.com

The brakes on the Navi aren't really that good. You'll notice it more at higher speeds. I think this may be the weakest point for the Navi.
@@mikey.mike. Maybe I should go used on a better bike.
@johndefalque5061 the Honda grom is a good option if you don't mind a manual transmission. They're relatively the same size.
@@mikey.mike. Last year I saw used Groms and Max scooters for sale, this year a Sym Fiddle 125 and PCX. Who wants top wipe out on bad brakes?

What made you want to get the navi ?
Really just for fun. I live close to restaurants retail and bars so figurd it would be a nice alternative with ease of parking. Not to mention the option to hall 2 people around.
@@mikey.mike. oh forsure . Well be safe out there man . Is comfortable with two people ?
Not the most comfortable honestly. Short runs would be ok but wouldn't recommend on a long hall.
Why didn't you disconnect the battery ground for safety?
For no good reason, moral of the story don't be like me. Disconnect your battery.
@@mikey.mike. Maybe use a towel or an old t-shirt to protect the lens of the headlight, when you lay it down on a metal grated patio table.
Did your blue high beam indicator light come in with dc current ? Mine only works with ac current
No sir, I lost that functionality when I made the LED swap. However, I've read that there is a work around. I'm going to tinker a bit and if successful will post a video 🤙

Yes, the indicator no longer functions. Actually didn't even notice until your comment!
@@mikey.mike. if you change your turn signals to LEDs too the high beam indicator will work normally (at least for me it did)
@@overseasterritory8983 interesting, that's good to know. What LED kit did you roll with for your turn signals?

why did you have to splice? website says you dont have to
They actually include a splice connector. My kit just didn't come with one.
