I have the 75th anniversary had the same problem until I used Winchester flat 380 rounds. Not sure why but that ammo works well.

Break in period? I bought mine in April of 2024. Took it to the range and fired 10-round of 92 grain hollow points with no issues whatsoever. I was taking my CCW class at the range, so I was shooting their guns and ammo. I asked it I could try out my new Ruger LCP Max .380.

Starting having the same failure to go into battery several times at the beginning, after 250 rounds it seemed to work itself out, less and less failures, the last magazine ran flawless, pretty sure it just needs to be broken in.

I just ordered the wider tires from Amazon, but do I need to buy new inner tubes or will the originals fit? I know next to nothing about tires, so any advice is really appreciated. My Navi has a little over 1,000 miles on it. Thank you!

Damn. I just got my led kit and it didn’t even come with that vague picture for instructions. Guessing they’re just banking on UA-cam videos like this one at this point.

They're good just have to keep them oiled up....I do mine like once a week and I haven't had failures since then. However I have noticed the lcp 1 is less likely to jam bc it's a single stack. I think the size of the double stacked might cause jamming in the mag so it won't seat properly causing a failure to go into battery. I could be wrong and please someone correct me if I'm wrong but this is just what I have noticed from owning the first gen and carrying that for a few years and then switching to the LCP max plus my little research I've done.

i had a TON of OOB failures with my Max. Ruger sent me a new slide assembly and now it's been perfect.

Yea u just got a faulty unit if anything I got the same pistol brand new and I have shot almost 200 rounds out of it s9 far and haven’t had a jam or ANYTHING so far.

did you have to use an EGR block off plate, or just disconnect the secondary air system entirely? I am installing mine on my Navi and don't know what to do with the secondary air system I bought the EGR block off plate for it and I'm going to put some small filter on the gearbox breather tube and EGR intake(also known as secondary air supply in the factory service manual). I ended up removing the center stand and exhaust cover because I was leaning the bike over so far
