Just re-jetted mine last night but now it feels like it wants to die at idle when I stop at a light. Had to keep on the throttle to keep it going. Only a short ride and went to bed. Going to check it out here after breakfast...
The assembly on the top of the carburetor is your throttle assembly. It has the throttle slide (black clyinder), the return spring, and a needle which controls the amount of fuel delivered in the mid range. The fuel line is actually the small black tube that connects to the bottom of the carburetor that you removed at 1:48.

Just got my Navi. I’m NOT a carb guy, but always looking for good mods and not afraid to try anything with a good UA-cam vid like this. How bad can a novice screw up a good carb with this rejetting? What other adjustments can get me in trouble on this carb? I hear the a/f adjustment is sealed off and can’t be messed with? This mod can’t burn up the piston can it?
Most Air/Fuel screws are covered from the factory. Basically Honda wants them tuned down as much as possible for emissions controls. There's videos on how to remove the screw covers... Basically start with a tiny drill bit, and move up in size, working gently until you can either twist the cover/cap away, or you can get to the screw for adjustments. As long as the bike revs up, and falls down smoothly, you shouldn't need to adjust. Be super careful. All the best, and good luck.
I am 6’2, 265lbs and it will do 50mph with me on it with no issue. Naturally i lose speed cause the thing makes 7 horses but these performance mods will help pep it up.
So could i get better fuel economy with different jets? Idk why i cant find any information on getting more mpg the geom gets 125 and this should get 100 but it gets more like 75 what do you do to get the 100 mpg promised
I removed the rear fender when I took off my intake and switched my exhaust, I am doing your carb mod now , thanks . I was worried about debris from the resr tire hitting my open intake , so I modified my rear fender by turning it around and adding 2 custom made brackets to hold it there. The back of the oem fender tucks in forward to seal the gap above the tire and the rest can be cut with a pair of tinsnips to customize it. Bolted 2 custom brackets using existing hardware to attach. Just had to make fro. Heavy sheet metal two offset brackets which I cut with tinsnips as well and valla.
Anyone else have a problem starting their Navi? I have a Yoshimura exhaust, 38/90 jet, and intake. I can only get it to start if I give it gas additionally, it will turn off if I come to a complete stop. The bike is brand new and I have no experience with bikes so any input would be great
Much needed performance mod for the NAVI!

Turn the fuel up
@@TTorres1183 rode around for 20 min this morning. Backfired 4 times and stalled once... Lol how do I turn the fuel up? Total noob here
There is a screw on the carb that’s a Phillips. You can adjust from there
😂 those are the stock jet sizes bro
I watched this video again. Not only do you make it look easy,. It is easy. I am feeling inspired. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching!
Curious on difference of performance and fuel economy
Just bought a Navi yesterday. Can't wait to start modding it!

Thank you for the info! I need some tweaking with the carb

Does the jet kit void the warranty?
How do you know what size to use?
Nice work man I ordered the intake, jets, a variator off of scooter shop Gonna be gnarly! Sweet video
Did you use my coupon code?
@@TTorres1183 wasn’t aware of any Ill email them it What is it Scooter swap shop is who I bought from
Can you do a video on turning on the fuel screw and where it's located... that would help alot.
He called a throttle cable a fuel line... I wouldn't trust this dude with even taking a jet out let alone something that could blow a motor
Imagine trying to make a Honda Navi faster.. Yea, I'd do it to, modify everything.
So I just installed the same jets in my Navi. The 38 and the 90 and for some reason the bike won’t start. Any advice?
The black tube on the bottom of the carburetor…what does it connect to?
can you put a the 95 jet in and it run ok
Jets are all going to depend on your location in the world...

This is a perfect simple mod that anyone can do!

adding fuel enriches the circuit. lean can burn up a piston, rich cant.
How long would you say it took to do this whole process
Wondering if this carb would work on my ct110
Does the breather tube connect to anything else?
What speeds did you reach? Or are you going to do a video on that
I’m curious too
I’ll do a video on that
Yes please
So if I removed the stock exhaust then I should place the 90 jet correct? Thanks
Correct
How much faster dose this go now
Im almost 6ft and 250lbs, is the navi stock ok for someone like me or should i mod immediately if i decide to get one?
Yeah I think you would be fine

For the life of me I can’t figure out how you kept the rear fender -what attaches it in the front?
Huh ?

Were you able to figure out what the issue was?
I adjusted the idle screw and I start the bike with no choke@@shadmanahmed8864
I had to adjust the idle screw. Also, I start the bike without the choke
guess I'll add another part to the list. thanks much
Nice video. Thank you.
Hey man i just bought a navi and have the man in the box intake coming and a jet kit from them did u have to tune anythying on it?
No adjustments
The thing with the spring is a needle and seat
Do you have any more thoughts on the light? Have you taken it out at night yet?
I have not… but I know the bike needs an led light.
Okay I did everything now it won’t turn over plz help
Nvm she’s running baby
Mine tries to turn on but won’t turn over. What did you do to fix it?
Pretty cool that you actually have some pig matting. 👍
Of course!
thats the throttle slide and needle.
I can’t wait to get me one bro fat guy on a little bike 🚴😂😂
😂
