For all those people who are working 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and have huge responsibilities, remember you cannot spend time and put efforts to look like a model or a athlete, so don't compare yourself to them and get depressed. Follow three rules to stay fit and healthy to enjoy life with family.
1. Reduce processed sugar food intake, reducing sugar intake will balance your metabolism and help you reduce weight. Processed sugar is a slow poison, period.
2. Stop over eating, over eating is the biggest reason for weight gain. You tend to eat just because its meal/lunch time. Your body should feel like eating only then consume food. Nature has created our body to preserve excess food in the form of fat cells so that body can consume it when it is needed for survival. Thousands of year back our human ancestors didn't have food three times day or for weeks so our body is programmed to store excess food in the form of fat for its survival.
3. You don't need to be in the gym for 1 hr or cook your food based on how much calories or protein it has. You wont have time for all that. Follow a simple routine i.e. walk for 15-20 mins daily or do some normal yoga that will help you feel good. Avoid food that is deep fried and has processed sugar.
Following this three steps will help you reduce fat slowly and eventually you will see major changes. Once you see changes you will be motivated to more. This motivation will act as a fuel to keep you body fit and mind happy.
