- Barry is one of the most underrated shows on TV, and one reason why is the way it does action. It's weird, it's absurd, but at the same time it feels real, and in this video I want to explore how the show is able to toe this line through its action.

The best action...for the best show...the only program currently in the same ball park with Succession for quality of writing, acting, directing, and cinematography. (The likes of Atlanta and Reservation Dogs a bit behind.) Thank you, Bill & co, for this absolute gem of a show!
Barry is the first show to ever make me appreciate sound design. Its taken to an entirely new level
The only other director I can think of who shoots violence in this way is S Craig Zahler (especially Dragged Across Concrete and Rumble in Cell Block 99), which is also unsettling and focused on the dire consequences...
