I love both shows, but Chuck is my personal top. Person of interest just doesn’t have enough humor for me. And the 5th season wasn’t my favorite. But POI is still my #2.
Yes, the ending was sad, but it was hopeful. It implied that Chuck and Sarah will get back together and that she decided to give their relationships another chance, regardless of whether she will regain her memories back or not.

AND THEY WERE! ....then, the ending was... perhaps the very best in television series history (I believe IT WAS) - Sarah's memory was not needed for her to subconsciously find her way back to their exact spot on Malibu beach - Sarah's knowing how honest/good Chuck was not necessary for her to ask for/listen to/believe in Chuck telling her their story - AND Sarah showed she held enough of her own deep-down openness to/feelings of love once she was with Chuck to ask him to "kiss me." It was all there; everything we needed to know that they were 'perfect soulmates' and would HAVE TO begin to love one another again, even if it had to happen a 1000 times over.
@@TerryYelmene Yes, I think Chuck was everything to her that she was missing in her life, and everything she needed as a person, as she is to him. She believes him, their friends, herself from those video reports and will continue to learn more back up stories on that from her mom, her 'sister', her dad, the Cat Squad, etc... She found 'their spot', she was remembering things again from years earlier, she listened to their story and laughed and cried and WANTED that kiss. Being around Chuck completely changed her in 5 short years, as it did him, and I believe she feels that pull in that last scene. And we know Chuck would stay with her forever if it took that long for her to recall everything. And if she gave them a shot, he would continue to show her why she fell in love with him in the first place from day-to-day with his actions and decisions in general.
My wife wanted to watch a good show, and I told her "I know an old tv show about a nerd spy"... and now we are looking for Chuk's and Sarah's costumes for halloween 🎉🎉
You're blessed. I had started watching through again in 2016 but got married in Nov 2016. My former fiancé said she wanted to watch it so I held off to watch it together. During our marriage (we split in 2022) we watched maybe 3-4 eps and I never watched it again. She just wasn't interested. Anyway, now that we're divorced I decided to finally go back and rewatch it. I'm halfway through S2 and loving it. Man I missed this show. It's like seeing old friends again.
I started watching in high school and spent my entire freshman year of college convincing my roommate to watch it. When she did she couldn't believe how much she loved it. Bc of covid I am back home with my parents and got my dad on the Chuck train too! It's on prime and not a ton of people have it but if you have prime it's totally worth it.
After years and 3rd rewatch I finally liked ending. But 'Chuck' as series and Chuck as Hero need The Movie! :) I can pact with The Devil, only to see what happened after finale... :D I miss Chuck.
I found this show randomly on Amazon when the virus hit and me and my wife were HOOKED. Just the way it didn't take itself too serious and it was very well balanced with the humor and the seriousness of it all. Great chemistry with everyone. I might rewatch it again since I finished it almost 4 months ago lol
I was looking to watch something around '09 and my roommate at the time had S1. I popped it in and immediately felt this was going to be a great show. I joked that wouldn't it be funny if they were on the first floor when Morgan was struggling to hold on outside Chuck's window and sure enough he stood up and walked away. I was hooked from the very first window scene.
I cannot express how many times I rewatch this show just for comfort. I genuinely laugh out loud for the funny bits and shed tears when it’s sad. My family and I watched this show when it was on the air and it was just one of the best shows for us to watch as a family because it fit the description of what we all wanted to watch. I still quote jokes from the show today. Hands down my all time favorite show
I’m 62 and discovered Chuck a couple of months ago while searching for something to watch on Amazon prime. I didn’t watch much tv when Chuck was on the air and I never heard about the show, hard to believe. I simply fell in love with the show and I already started watching season 1 again 2 weeks after watching the finale. I tried watching other shows but kept thinking about watching Chuck again. I’m thinking to myself that I must be weird to watch a show again right after I just finished watching all 91 episodes, but I now see from all the comments about the show on social media that I’m not so weird after all. I just can’t believe how many people on social media are still talking about Chuck a decade after it ended. And there are so many tributes to the show and enjoy watching all of them. I too am wishing for a Chuck sequel or movie, but I think it’s probably too late at this point. I’ve searched and watching other shows with Levi and Strahovski. Hey, now I know who Shazam is!!!
Love to see that Chuck isn't restricted to young fans. I'll rewatch it as well in the near future. Great show and a very satisfying finale. Loved Chuck but my favorite character was Morgan (or merely "Grimes" as his grumpy superior called him). The casting was very serious about chemistry in general and it showed.
I am 55 and discovered Chuck last summer thanks to Amazon r ecommending it after watching Psych again... What a great show! I love Zac Levi and this ca st was so good
The dynamic friendship between Morgan and Chuck is my absolute favorite part of this already fantastic series. And watching his interactions throughout the series is so beautiful and cute.
Scrubs had nothing on the Bromance of Chuck and Morgan. And they never got weird with it. Awkward at times, but never weird. And Chuck never had to explain anything. He just said, "Morgan this is important," and Morgan acted immediately.
One of the show's big mixed blessings was the fact that it was always on the cancellation bubble. As a result, there were something like 6 episodes written as "final episodes" (end of season 2, ep. 13 of season 3, end of season 3, ep. 13 of season 4, end of season 4, and end of season 5). Five times they had an episode that tied things up, and put the characters in a place where it would be a satisfying ending... and then the story continued. The characters and relationships had to grow and change. Well maybe not "had to", but the alternative would have been backsliding. It kept the characters growing and more real.
Agreed. So many GREAT stories that should have continues longer but ended too soon. We barely got time to process and then they moved on to the next thing.
Chuck is easily my favourite show of all time. I watch it every year and im currently on my 12th viewing. It just doesnt get boring, and I can still find myself get a bit mad that Sarah and Chuck dont get together earlier on, which I think shows how great the show is. My favourite part of the show is easily how it explores different types of relationships, family, friends and romantic. My favourite scene from the show is probably from season 2 episode 3. If you search for "chuck skinny love" you will find it.
Here in Australia this show barely made any noise when it aired. I only found it because someone I follow on Twitter recommended it because of the Chuck/Sarah relationship after I said how much I love Jake and Amy on Brooklyn 99. I binged it so fast and loved every second! It is honestly one of the best shows and I’m obsessed. No one I know has even heard of it!
My favorite show of all time. Love all the hidden gems in it. Like "move it along Chewie" Chucks mom doing pullups in prison cell (very Terminator. Played by same actress), "if you like that Superman type" haha, christmas episode/Die Hard, so many more..... All the cameos (my wife is like omg who hasn't been on Chuck when I point them out years later) The music. JEFFSTER!!!!!!
Chuck is the GOAT. I've seen tons of different TV shows and nothing comes close to this imperfect masterpiece. The Chuck & Sarah arc development is just done so well you'll fall in love with the characters. After writing this I realize I probably should rewatch it
I love Chuck! I started watching the show when it first came on, all the way to the end and I've watched it several times over the years. The characters are so iconic to me. Chuck and Sarah's relationship may be my favorite thing about the show.

"Chuck" is absolutely one of my favorite shows. It was often silly, but never stupid--a tough line to walk in TV, sometimes. But everything about it just made it amazing, and even the silly moments often led up to more serious ones.
I’m with you dude. Chuck is by far my favorite show, ever. And I’m 48 years old. That’s a lot of shows over the years. The chemistry between the actors is second to none. And the love story is incredible. I’ve watched this show from start to finish several times now and am in season 4 of my current watch. It even turned me into reading stories about the show on fan fiction. I know, that’s almost sad. 😁. Not sure I’ll find another show I enjoy so much.
My favorite thing about Chuck? The characters, as a whole. The way that they are these amazingly complex and structured people you believe exist in this world they created. Even to the side characters and guest stars, they all are never 2D unless they are making them out to be this joke of a person. I miss Chuck every day of my life and I hope we get that movie someday.
Probably the most underrated show in tv history. Chuck is incredible and one of my favorite shows ever. The writing is brilliant, the side missions and characters are hilarious, awesome fight scenes, a great touch of mainly 80’s music, and lovable characters all around
Loved this video, it reminded me why I love Chuck so much. I always loved how much Chuck himself was a protagonist who was so earnestly kind and open. He always wanted to support his friends and would drop anything to do it, to a fault sometimes. He fights with kindness instead of with violence.
I loved everything about Chuck! Spies, Sarah, the action, Sarah, the comedy and Sarah are just a few of my favourite parts, not to mention all the movie and game references in it, as well as the music throughout the series!
How have we survived without fan pandering slo mo entrances of Sarah Walker? That valentines episode with Sarah in the red outfit with pop out angel wings still gets me every time! Hot and hilarious!

It was the first "adult" show i ever watched (I started mid-season 2), and I very quickly fell in love with it :) I love that plot is driven by the characters, and the dynamic between Casey/Morgan, esp in the later seasons was so great! That's correct. Chuck was in real danger of being canceled after the second season (indeed, this was always a concern during its run). There was a large online/social media campaign to "Save Chuck," part of which was going to Subway and filling out comment cards after making a purchase (taking its cue from product placement in season 2). A lot of "work" was done and it was a glorious day when it was renewed. Chuck had and still has the best fandom around.
Just finished re-watching it, after watching the table read during the pandemic. An an OG fan, this show STILL has heart and I love it even more. Thanks for uploading this and big thanks to everyone that worked on Chuck!
The love story is what got me. How in depth the cast is and how all the characters compliment each other so well. I don't think I've ever seen a show like this. Wow.
The relationship between Chuck and Sarah was so convincing. When she told Chuck to take off his watch because they needed to run to avoid Chuck being sent to a CIA safe house, was so great. She was willing to sacrifice her career, which was her life, for him.
The show is quite simply, awesome. The chemistry between the characters is excellent. I love the music they use to enhance the overall emotional effect. There are just so many great moments. One of my favorites is Jeffster singing Mr. Roboto at Eli and Awesome‘s wedding.
To me, one of the funniest moments of all time on ANY show was when Jeffster started performing, "Push It!" at the hospital while Ellie was having her baby. I love the moment Ellie hears the start of the music and gives a horrified, "Oh, God!" Then you see Jeff and Lester dancing with a bunch of pregnant women while performing the song - before the cops kick them out. That was BRILLIANT!
Even years later, the ending of the show still stings. Zach Levi talked about a movie to tie it up more neatly but it never happened, and I guess at this point it's kind of late. But yes, one of my favorite shows, Yvonne Strahovski was jaw-dropping, Zach Levi was funny, the supporting cast was basically epic from start to finish, and being a hopeless romantic I enjoyed the romance aspects of it also. Rewatch it every X years and always have a good time. Go Jeffster!
I remember watching this show all the time with my family as a kid (and by as a kid, I truly mean as a kid. I was 9 when the show ended). Finally watched the full series again at the beginning of last year, and I've watched the full series a solid 8 more times since then. It'll always be my favorite show, and it still hurts that there never was a 6th season. Never felt like the show ended, always seemed like there was so much more that they could do.
Chuck as a series insisted on being retro (the music and all the related sub-cultures of the 80s incorporated appropriately into the show), and that was a huge huge huge hit with the audience.
I have watched this show from start to finish too many times and just finished another binge on it which led me to searching for videos about the show on UA-cam. I first watched it on Netflix, it was a show I've always wanted to watch but I was living in a house without cable so I couldn't catch the original airing. I showed it to my younger cousins and they loved it. I will always love this show, I even bought the collection on DVD. The love story between Chuck and Sarah is my favorite part of the show. "Sometimes the nerd gets the girl."
This is my favorite show since I was 12 years old and, despite not being "perfect", it will never be topped in my ranking because it gives you such a sense of family that literally warms your heart. It's the kind of show where you're laughing during a scene and bawling in the next one. Honestly I don't think I ever came across another show that blends drama and comedy so well together like Chuck does and, like you said, this kind of genre was basically never used during those years (and still today it's not that popular). I dream about a Chuck movie that will let us say goodbye to these characters for the last time. Even when the cast got together during the pandemic to do a table read, it felt like coming home. Found the show recently on Prime and I am so sorry I missed it so many years ago. I totally agree that this was a very under rated show. What a roller coaster ride of action, adventure and rooting for Chuck and Sarah. In between the intrigue and the shootouts, was a very neatly told story of heart tugging love, friendship and family. Hats off to the cast, writers, directors, producers and crew for making this happen. Thanks guys. Oh and after watching some of the cast reunions, I know its been mentioned but I still think either a full scale movie or 2 hour special on TV, network or otherwise would really be great. So many teasing subplots of a past nemesis or enemy coming for them all one last time. One can only hope.
I love love love Chuck, and this is a great intro to it--thank you for all your work. Just one small criticism: you didn't mention Morgan! His friendship with Chuck + his wordplay make him one of my favorite characters!
Chuck is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Not my top favorite, but top 5, if not top 3. I started watching the show from the beginning, because the premise spoke to me, as an IT guy myself. I was pretty much hooked from the 1st episode, so I stuck with it through to near the end. I cut the cord before the final season was done airing, so I ended up not watching the last few episodes until I got them later on Blu-ray, but I was a fan of the show all the way through. It truly is underrated, and that blend of the comedy, action, and character development is what really makes it work, as you said. It's the reason my favorite show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with its unique blend of horror, drama, comedy, and character development. Chuck definitely needs more exposure, and I sincerely hope Zach Levi can get the Chuck movie made at some point. It would be awesome to see Chuck and Sarah together again, and in some big plot, maybe a few years later, even with some kids.

Binge watched when it was on Netflix. Before watching it, I passed it up for months. Once I started watching, it was hard to stop. Very entertaining show. Loved watching it with my wife. Very underrated.
Chuck is an amazing show, and it doesn’t get recognised that much which I’m sad about. I’m from the UK and I have only one friend who knows what Chuck is. One is better than none, I’m trying to introduce Chuck to my friend Cerys. But she can’t afford Amazon Prime so whenever we meet one day I’ll show her it. Chuck needs to get recognised more.. I can’t say it enough. They did a reunion last month I believe and did a table reading of “Chuck vs The Beard” it was amazing and it was great to see the cast back together again. I might make a video on how good Chuck is because not enough people know it. Thanks for making this video. I’ll share this with my friends so they can understand Chuck more :)
Great video! I've watched "Chuck" since the first episode and it was the reason why I got a job at Best Buy right out of High School...haha The best part of the show for me is Chuck and Sarah's relationship. I love the final scene also, even though many fans hate it.
Chuck music soundtracks are some of the awesome choices! And definitely low-key on of the most underrated tv series. I just wish it could have last 3 or more seasons. Looking forward to see it in the big screen

Here in Brazil, the show aired between 2007 and 2013 (Cable and open TV) and I used to watch it at night when all of my family was already sleeping, I loved the show so much that I downloaded all the episodes available at the time and binged it... Its a shame that a few months later the last episode aired... I will never get over this show... Now with covid and the table read, I am watching it again, even joined reddit to gather with people to talk about this amazing show, and that led me here, to this video...

My favorite show of all time. I was around 5 when it started airing on TV. Watched it with my father, who used to find every episode online after they removed it from TV in our county. After the first watch, I was still pretty young so I couldn't really comprehend the show entirely. So I rewatched it. A couple times to say the least. Since like 2016 I rewatch Chuck once a year, to fulfill my needs, since no other show, to me, ever got into my heart like this one did. I put a couple of friends onto it and all of them really loved it. And, this might be just myself, the ending which everyone hates is actually well written to me. It's a very unfortunate situation, yeah, but I feel like the classic "perfect ending scenario" wouldn't fit here. Through out the series, he and his normal life wishes were always put on hold because of the spy mishaps that happened, and this is just one of them which he (if the show continued/in our minds) is going to conquer. Not to lie though, watching the last scene, with "Rivers and Roads" in the background, always makes me teary and empty inside, as if I have lived these 5 years instead of Chuck. Only this show was ever able to pull such emotions, good or bad, out of me and that's why it's the best of all time to me. On the other note, the video was extremely well made and it convinced me to watch the other ones, so, very well done.

Chuck is still my favorite show. After a few years, I'd finally convinced my fiance(gf at the time) to try it. I went home, I think next day she was on Season 3. Her and I crying together to this incredible show, something that never seems to happen anymore. Chuck had so much passion. The characters were the best. I still often go back and rewatch it while eating Subway and playing Halo. Oh, and Big Mike for Subway Spokesman. Make it so.

Absolutely right about the show being underrated. I passed it up several times while looking for something to watch on Prime, and one day I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say, it captivated me and ended up binging it. I think I’ve seen the series about 3 or 4 times.
Excellent commentary about a great show!! Well done!! I was one of those who didn’t find Chuck until Jan/Feb 2019🤦♀️. When I saw the first episode, I was hooked and have not stopped watching it. I can’t begin to give you a number of how many rewatches I’ve done. It’s a fantastic show with great characters, acting, writing, and stars. I would love to see a Chuck movie someday. Seeing these characters together again would be a dream come true. Until then, I’ll continue to watch the 91 episodes again. 🤗❤️

Great breakdown of the show. I watched it when it originally aired, I was in my late 20s. I only bring up my age because you did and, it shows how well this show worked for multiple demographics. I just started rewatching it with my daughters. They are 14 and love it. We watch about 2 episodes a day and are just about done with the second season. I really appreciate you bringing up the Subway thing. Not a lot of people know this but, the show, due to low ratings, was about to get canceled. The producers came up with an idea of how to keep funding the show so NBC didn't have to and thus, keeping the fans happy!

Love it! In mid-2023 it is still on Amazon Prime (but nowhere else), and wife & I got hooked and are in the middle of season 2. I really love all the known actors they inject into the second season- adds to the fun (and chaos)
I absolutely loved Chuck! I recommend it frequently, as it's one of those shows that went under the radar. In addition to the writing, comedy, action, and charm etc...another thing this show did really well was the casting of guest stars. It's got such great pop culture references, and the guest stars really help drive that home!
The music of Chuck is one of the best parts.

During our marriage (we split in 2022) we watched maybe 3-4 eps and I never watched it again. She just wasn't interested.
Anyway, now that we're divorced I decided to finally go back and rewatch it.
I'm halfway through S2 and loving it. Man I missed this show. It's like seeing old friends again.
I started watching in high school and spent my entire freshman year of college convincing my roommate to watch it. When she did she couldn't believe how much she loved it. Bc of covid I am back home with my parents and got my dad on the Chuck train too! It's on prime and not a ton of people have it but if you have prime it's totally worth it.

I found this show randomly on Amazon when the virus hit and me and my wife were HOOKED. Just the way it didn't take itself too serious and it was very well balanced with the humor and the seriousness of it all. Great chemistry with everyone. I might rewatch it again since I finished it almost 4 months ago lol
I was looking to watch something around '09 and my roommate at the time had S1.
I popped it in and immediately felt this was going to be a great show.
I joked that wouldn't it be funny if they were on the first floor when Morgan was struggling to hold on outside Chuck's window and sure enough he stood up and walked away. I was hooked from the very first window scene.
I cannot express how many times I rewatch this show just for comfort. I genuinely laugh out loud for the funny bits and shed tears when it’s sad. My family and I watched this show when it was on the air and it was just one of the best shows for us to watch as a family because it fit the description of what we all wanted to watch. I still quote jokes from the show today. Hands down my all time favorite show
I’m 62 and discovered Chuck a couple of months ago while searching for something to watch on Amazon prime. I didn’t watch much tv when Chuck was on the air and I never heard about the show, hard to believe. I simply fell in love with the show and I already started watching season 1 again 2 weeks after watching the finale. I tried watching other shows but kept thinking about watching Chuck again. I’m thinking to myself that I must be weird to watch a show again right after I just finished watching all 91 episodes, but I now see from all the comments about the show on social media that I’m not so weird after all. I just can’t believe how many people on social media are still talking about Chuck a decade after it ended. And there are so many tributes to the show and enjoy watching all of them. I too am wishing for a Chuck sequel or movie, but I think it’s probably too late at this point. I’ve searched and watching other shows with Levi and Strahovski. Hey, now I know who Shazam is!!!

I'll rewatch it as well in the near future. Great show and a very satisfying finale. Loved Chuck but my favorite character was Morgan (or merely "Grimes" as his grumpy superior called him). The casting was very serious about chemistry in general and it showed.

The dynamic friendship between Morgan and Chuck is my absolute favorite part of this already fantastic series. And watching his interactions throughout the series is so beautiful and cute.

And they never got weird with it. Awkward at times, but never weird.
And Chuck never had to explain anything. He just said, "Morgan this is important," and Morgan acted immediately.
One of the show's big mixed blessings was the fact that it was always on the cancellation bubble. As a result, there were something like 6 episodes written as "final episodes" (end of season 2, ep. 13 of season 3, end of season 3, ep. 13 of season 4, end of season 4, and end of season 5). Five times they had an episode that tied things up, and put the characters in a place where it would be a satisfying ending... and then the story continued. The characters and relationships had to grow and change. Well maybe not "had to", but the alternative would have been backsliding. It kept the characters growing and more real.
Agreed. So many GREAT stories that should have continues longer but ended too soon.
We barely got time to process and then they moved on to the next thing.

Chuck is easily my favourite show of all time. I watch it every year and im currently on my 12th viewing. It just doesnt get boring, and I can still find myself get a bit mad that Sarah and Chuck dont get together earlier on, which I think shows how great the show is. My favourite part of the show is easily how it explores different types of relationships, family, friends and romantic. My favourite scene from the show is probably from season 2 episode 3. If you search for "chuck skinny love" you will find it.

Here in Australia this show barely made any noise when it aired. I only found it because someone I follow on Twitter recommended it because of the Chuck/Sarah relationship after I said how much I love Jake and Amy on Brooklyn 99. I binged it so fast and loved every second! It is honestly one of the best shows and I’m obsessed. No one I know has even heard of it!

It was often silly, but never stupid--a tough line to walk in TV, sometimes. But everything about it just made it amazing, and even the silly moments often led up to more serious ones.
I’m with you dude. Chuck is by far my favorite show, ever. And I’m 48 years old. That’s a lot of shows over the years. The chemistry between the actors is second to none. And the love story is incredible. I’ve watched this show from start to finish several times now and am in season 4 of my current watch. It even turned me into reading stories about the show on fan fiction. I know, that’s almost sad. 😁. Not sure I’ll find another show I enjoy so much.
My favorite thing about Chuck? The characters, as a whole. The way that they are these amazingly complex and structured people you believe exist in this world they created. Even to the side characters and guest stars, they all are never 2D unless they are making them out to be this joke of a person. I miss Chuck every day of my life and I hope we get that movie someday.

Loved this video, it reminded me why I love Chuck so much. I always loved how much Chuck himself was a protagonist who was so earnestly kind and open. He always wanted to support his friends and would drop anything to do it, to a fault sometimes. He fights with kindness instead of with violence.
I loved everything about Chuck! Spies, Sarah, the action, Sarah, the comedy and Sarah are just a few of my favourite parts, not to mention all the movie and game references in it, as well as the music throughout the series!
How have we survived without fan pandering slo mo entrances of Sarah Walker? That valentines episode with Sarah in the red outfit with pop out angel wings still gets me every time! Hot and hilarious!

That's correct. Chuck was in real danger of being canceled after the second season (indeed, this was always a concern during its run). There was a large online/social media campaign to "Save Chuck," part of which was going to Subway and filling out comment cards after making a purchase (taking its cue from product placement in season 2). A lot of "work" was done and it was a glorious day when it was renewed. Chuck had and still has the best fandom around.
Just finished re-watching it, after watching the table read during the pandemic. An an OG fan, this show STILL has heart and I love it even more.

The love story is what got me. How in depth the cast is and how all the characters compliment each other so well. I don't think I've ever seen a show like this. Wow.
The relationship between Chuck and Sarah was so convincing. When she told Chuck to take off his watch because they needed to run to avoid Chuck being sent to a CIA safe house, was so great. She was willing to sacrifice her career, which was her life, for him.
We should start a petition for the Chuck reboot, the last episode did not provide the necessary closure.

The show is quite simply, awesome. The chemistry between the characters is excellent. I love the music they use to enhance the overall emotional effect. There are just so many great moments. One of my favorites is Jeffster singing Mr. Roboto at Eli and Awesome‘s wedding.
To me, one of the funniest moments of all time on ANY show was when Jeffster started performing, "Push It!" at the hospital while Ellie was having her baby. I love the moment Ellie hears the start of the music and gives a horrified, "Oh, God!" Then you see Jeff and Lester dancing with a bunch of pregnant women while performing the song - before the cops kick them out.
That was BRILLIANT!
Even years later, the ending of the show still stings. Zach Levi talked about a movie to tie it up more neatly but it never happened, and I guess at this point it's kind of late. But yes, one of my favorite shows, Yvonne Strahovski was jaw-dropping, Zach Levi was funny, the supporting cast was basically epic from start to finish, and being a hopeless romantic I enjoyed the romance aspects of it also. Rewatch it every X years and always have a good time. Go Jeffster!

I can't begin to describe how much this show means to me and how much it has impacted my life. Thank you for this video, man.
I remember watching this show all the time with my family as a kid (and by as a kid, I truly mean as a kid. I was 9 when the show ended). Finally watched the full series again at the beginning of last year, and I've watched the full series a solid 8 more times since then. It'll always be my favorite show, and it still hurts that there never was a 6th season. Never felt like the show ended, always seemed like there was so much more that they could do.
Chuck as a series insisted on being retro (the music and all the related sub-cultures of the 80s incorporated appropriately into the show), and that was a huge huge huge hit with the audience.
I have watched this show from start to finish too many times and just finished another binge on it which led me to searching for videos about the show on UA-cam. I first watched it on Netflix, it was a show I've always wanted to watch but I was living in a house without cable so I couldn't catch the original airing. I showed it to my younger cousins and they loved it. I will always love this show, I even bought the collection on DVD. The love story between Chuck and Sarah is my favorite part of the show. "Sometimes the nerd gets the girl."
This is my favorite show since I was 12 years old and, despite not being "perfect", it will never be topped in my ranking because it gives you such a sense of family that literally warms your heart.
It's the kind of show where you're laughing during a scene and bawling in the next one. Honestly I don't think I ever came across another show that blends drama and comedy so well together like Chuck does and, like you said, this kind of genre was basically never used during those years (and still today it's not that popular).
I dream about a Chuck movie that will let us say goodbye to these characters for the last time. Even when the cast got together during the pandemic to do a table read, it felt like coming home.

Found the show recently on Prime and I am so sorry I missed it so many years ago. I totally agree that this was a very under rated show. What a roller coaster ride of action, adventure and rooting for Chuck and Sarah. In between the intrigue and the shootouts, was a very neatly told story of heart tugging love, friendship and family. Hats off to the cast, writers, directors, producers and crew for making this happen. Thanks guys. Oh and after watching some of the cast reunions, I know its been mentioned but I still think either a full scale movie or 2 hour special on TV, network or otherwise would really be great. So many teasing subplots of a past nemesis or enemy coming for them all one last time. One can only hope.

I’m glad this show is getting recognized it’s been my favorite show for so long, so underrated
Chuck is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Not my top favorite, but top 5, if not top 3. I started watching the show from the beginning, because the premise spoke to me, as an IT guy myself. I was pretty much hooked from the 1st episode, so I stuck with it through to near the end. I cut the cord before the final season was done airing, so I ended up not watching the last few episodes until I got them later on Blu-ray, but I was a fan of the show all the way through. It truly is underrated, and that blend of the comedy, action, and character development is what really makes it work, as you said. It's the reason my favorite show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with its unique blend of horror, drama, comedy, and character development. Chuck definitely needs more exposure, and I sincerely hope Zach Levi can get the Chuck movie made at some point. It would be awesome to see Chuck and Sarah together again, and in some big plot, maybe a few years later, even with some kids.

Chuck is an amazing show, and it doesn’t get recognised that much which I’m sad about. I’m from the UK and I have only one friend who knows what Chuck is. One is better than none, I’m trying to introduce Chuck to my friend Cerys. But she can’t afford Amazon Prime so whenever we meet one day I’ll show her it. Chuck needs to get recognised more.. I can’t say it enough. They did a reunion last month I believe and did a table reading of “Chuck vs The Beard” it was amazing and it was great to see the cast back together again. Here in Brazil, the show aired between 2007 and 2013 (Cable and open TV) and I used to watch it at night when all of my family was already sleeping, I loved the show so much that I downloaded all the episodes available at the time and binged it...

My favorite show of all time. I was around 5 when it started airing on TV. Watched it with my father, who used to find every episode online after they removed it from TV in our county. After the first watch, I was still pretty young so I couldn't really comprehend the show entirely. So I rewatched it. A couple times to say the least. Since like 2016 I rewatch Chuck once a year, to fulfill my needs, since no other show, to me, ever got into my heart like this one did. I put a couple of friends onto it and all of them really loved it. And, this might be just myself, the ending which everyone hates is actually well written to me. It's a very unfortunate situation, yeah, but I feel like the classic "perfect ending scenario" wouldn't fit here. Through out the series, he and his normal life wishes were always put on hold because of the spy mishaps that happened, and this is just one of them which he (if the show continued/in our minds) is going to conquer. Not to lie though, watching the last scene, with "Rivers and Roads" in the background, always makes me teary and empty inside, as if I have lived these 5 years instead of Chuck. Only this show was ever able to pull such emotions, good or bad, out of me and that's why it's the best of all time to me.
On the other note, the video was extremely well made and it convinced me to watch the other ones, so, very well done.

Chuck is still my favorite show. After a few years, I'd finally convinced my fiance(gf at the time) to try it. I went home, I think next day she was on Season 3.
Her and I crying together to this incredible show, something that never seems to happen anymore. Chuck had so much passion. The characters were the best. I still often go back and rewatch it while eating Subway and playing Halo.

I can’t begin to give you a number of how many rewatches I’ve done. It’s a fantastic show with great characters, acting, writing, and stars. I would love to see a Chuck movie someday. Seeing these characters together again would be a dream come true. Until then, I’ll continue to watch the 91 episodes again. 🤗❤️

Great breakdown of the show. I watched it when it originally aired, I was in my late 20s. I only bring up my age because you did and, it shows how well this show worked for multiple demographics. I just started rewatching it with my daughters. They are 14 and love it. We watch about 2 episodes a day and are just about done with the second season.
I really appreciate you bringing up the Subway thing. Not a lot of people know this but, the show, due to low ratings, was about to get canceled. The producers came up with an idea of how to keep funding the show so NBC didn't have to and thus, keeping the fans happy!

Hii. Ive lately watched Chuck because it was my favourite series when I was younger and the memories started to faid. I wasn't really happy with the ending so I went and did some homework.
I was wondering is there a way we can get people so that we can convince the movie industrie to make a Chuck movie after there have been rumors about it?
Love it! In mid-2023 it is still on Amazon Prime (but nowhere else), and wife & I got hooked and are in the middle of season 2. I really love all the known actors they inject into the second season- adds to the fun (and chaos)
I literally cant count how many times I've watched through this series. Hands down favorite series.
One of the best love stories of all time
I absolutely loved Chuck! I recommend it frequently, as it's one of those shows that went under the radar. In addition to the writing, comedy, action, and charm etc...another thing this show did really well was the casting of guest stars. It's got such great pop culture references, and the guest stars really help drive that home!
