Photographing Elusive Animals | Wildlife Photography Series | Part 1: Setting up Trail Cameras

I am starting the year off with a project where my goal is to find and photograph mammals in the forest. This is Part 1 in this series I am going to create throughout the year and I am happy you will be along for the ride.
My project is going to have many parts including setting up trail cameras to initially find and determine when animals are active at different locations. I am then going to set up my Tragopan photography blind to try and capture some great images of the animals that call the Northeast Forests their home. This video is part 1 of this series where I go and set up two of my trail cameras in locations that I feel will have good activity. I am using Bushnell Trophy Trail cameras for this project to initially find the wildlife and see what activity I can find. I plan on setting up the trail cameras in multiple locations to get a well rounded feel for where the animals can be found. As always, I brought along my Nikon Z9 and 600mm lens to photograph anything I found along the way. I had a surprise find at the end where I heard a barred owl calling in the forest, and then possibly my closest encounter with a white-tailed deer I have ever had.
