Come and see how to sew this gorgeous style, including the pleats, neckline binding, partially lined bodice with enclosed shoulder and side seams and how to unite the bodice to the skirt. YOU CAN MAKE IT TOO 😊

      I’d always like elastic inside a casing so it doesn’t directly touch my skin. I’ve had the most horrible rashes with elastic before. So painful.

    Both are beautiful but the second one, with the fuller skirt, maybe Sinclair patterns should add this as a hack. Kinda like Love Notions does with their patterns. That second dress would be excellent on those of us "hippy" women.

    About sleeveless dresses, it is not that I (and lots of people) do not like them, it is that the saggy tops of my arm show.

    Hello and thank you so much for sharing and for the inspiration !
    Do you think it would be complicated to lengthen the skirt to an under the knee length ?

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  3 роки тому +1

      Not at all. I’d add a lengthen line a little below the full hip (perpendicular to the grain line arrow) and add all the way across on the three pieces. Totally doable :)

      No. Bias cutting is only for woven. With knits you cut it across the greatest stretch. Normal.
