The part where she said she was voted least likely to get married in high school made me mad! What an awful superlative for the school to have. Even if they mean it in a “most independent” kind of way, why wouldn’t they just make that he superlative. Saying someone is least likely to get married could very easily turn to bullying. Despite disagreeing initially, it was clear that Mom really did want her daughter to have a dress that she felt good in that fit the modesty requirements for a religious service.
It's pretty frustrating calling nearly 500 over a 'smidge" overbudget That's 1/3 of the 1500 they started with! They couldn't even try another one on?! There are people who genuinely can't afford something 133% of the budget
I agree. To me a "smidge" might be 10% over - not 33% more. I too wish they had shown at least 1 more option. However, the bride looked lovely in her dress.

You weren't paying attention to this episode. The dress that was over budget was picked by the mom. The consultant told her it was over budget before she even took the dress off the rack. The dress the consultant picked was under budget. So apparently you would rather complain about something that didn't happen. If you don't like this shop, watch the Lancashire videos or the Curvy Brides videos where they often don't even bring up the budget but always seem to always need psychological counseling.
She thinks her hips look wide. 😆 She has such a slight figure. It's amazing how 🤔 we can see ourselves so differently than how they actually look. We are our own worst critics.
It's funny that she said her mum would bring the conservative opinion but her mum actually prefers the modern look and the bride wants vintage/traditional
The grandma is a proper example about who to be respectful when your part of the entourage this say I like it and it really fits your style and it’s is your day not mine so it doesn’t matter if I don’t like it cause am not wearing it
I think they did this bride dirty. I understand she likes vintage, so why couldn't they find her a better vintage inspired dress with in her price point? The dress she chose while pretty, was wearing her, instead of her wearing the dress.
I married in 1965. My mum made my dress, I sketched the style and she put her heart and soul into it. With the shoes as well, my dress came to nearly £11. £2000 for a dress is so hard to believe, that would have been half of the price of our first home !
I had to choose my own wedding dress and organise all the details myself for my own wedding nearly 40yrs ago, when I moved interstate to be with my future husband. My parents only got to see my dress, venue and planning on the day as they too lived interstate. I loved my precious day but having my mother choose my dress with me would have been icing on the cake. I went with my daughter to help her chose her dress and it was one of the proudest yet saddest moments knowing how beautiful and grown-up she is, and now totally belonged to someone else and no longer really my little girl
Back over 50 yrs ago I did the same - bought material & found a seamstress to sew my dress. My mom came from abroad when it was ready, & brought me a veil her friend made for me. It was perfect.
My mom wanted to control every aspect of our wedding with me paying for everything. We eloped but I always regretted not walking down the aisle in a wedding dress. Some things are just not meant to be. Lucky for her and those who have that "dream wedding."
I’d say that you had a legit reason for wanting to elope if you couldn’t have your dream wedding. Especially if she wanted you paying for everything that she wanted for it and not what you wanted. And vow renewals are an option.
I hate consultants who IMMEDIATELY go over budget right off the bat. This one does that a lot. Gok never does. Start within budget, end up over budget. Don't start out over budget. There's no way that there wasn't another dress she could've started with.
It's so nice to see a modest and demure bride. So many comments here say she's lovely and she is. It's so refreshing to see a bride who doesn't want to show of her butt and the girls in a s exy wedding dress.

The first one is nice. A lines are really flattering on most people. The neckline/illusion looks like cheap mesh from a flyscreen. The hem of the skirt is like a tea shop tablecloth. The second one made her shoulders look big and the illusion sleeves were also a bit granny-ish.
This shop really annoys me. Budget 1500 first dress 1949 ,500 pounds over, 25% more. Are the consultants deaf. Why did the consultant even pull it. Check the price before you offer it.

I also have a feeling Grandma would've reached into her pocket if the bride's choice was too expensive.
Lovely bride. Lovely supportive family. Mazel Tov!
i think you might be right there.
The dress was beautiful and looked perfect on this young lady. She'll be a stunning bride for sure!
What a lovely girl and a supportive entourage.
She is gorgeous! She sure knows what fit her style best, that dress really highlight her body line and her sweet personality.
Please stop assuming brides can go over budget. Unless you ask them first, don’t even show them something over their amount
Nobody loves u like your grandma - how very sweet
Absolutely gorgeous. I love the sleeves. I ALWAYS love an A-line. And it suited her perfectly. Beautiful girl.
What a beautiful bride and the dress she picked is perfect for her.

She looks beautiful in the dress!! That she feels comfortable in it and loves it is just icing on the cake!!
I love that her Grandma was there and loved the dress the first time that she came out in it!
You can trust Grandma, she has seen many things and styles, but she may know you better than your Mom...
She thinks her hips look wide. 😆 She has such a slight figure. It's amazing how 🤔 we can see ourselves so differently than how they actually look. We are our own worst critics.

I don't see much of a tummy, either!
As far as I could see, her shoulders and hips are about the same width - and that's great, just right! 😊👍
The grandmom is so precious
Mom asks how much is a smidge over budget. Precedes to be wishy washy on response until the bride is in love with it… lovely
The Bride chose a very beautiful appropriate dress for the occasion congratulations!!! 🌹💐🌹
It's funny that she said her mum would bring the conservative opinion but her mum actually prefers the modern look and the bride wants vintage/traditional
Such a sweet, beautiful bride! She looked lovely in her dress! 👍
She looks like juliet omg omg she’s the literal definition of pretty
ua-cam.com/video/OtLNo85OkeE/v-deo.html
The grandma is a proper example about who to be respectful when your part of the entourage this say I like it and it really fits your style and it’s is your day not mine so it doesn’t matter if I don’t like it cause am not wearing it
You looked stunning in the dress Michael. I hope you both had a wonderful day
Michal, not Michael
The dresses are great and all, but her eyes are everything!
I think they did this bride dirty. I understand she likes vintage, so why couldn't they find her a better vintage inspired dress with in her price point? The dress she chose while pretty, was wearing her, instead of her wearing the dress.
her grandmother is beautiful!
I married in 1965. My mum made my dress, I sketched the style and she put her heart and soul into it. With the shoes as well, my dress came to nearly £11.
£2000 for a dress is so hard to believe, that would have been half of the price of our first home !
My grandmother made my mums dress and had lace sent from England for it.
The bride is beautiful ❤️
The bride seems sooo sweet and lovely.
What a beautiful girl 💕💕💕 She looks amazing in that dress 🥰
She fell in love with the dress as soon as she put it on. She made a beautiful choice. She looked really pretty.
Such beautiful bride looking so sweet and innocent🌺💝 She reminds me of Dakota Fanning in Maleficient
What kind of high school lets students vote on who is least likely to get married?
I’m so glad you got to go with your daughter to chose her dress! You sound like a sweet, loving mother!!!!
Hmm, £460 is a bit more than a “smidge” over budget when your budget is £1500. It would be a smidge for someone prepared to pay £5k perhaps…😏
Congratulations to you! You look lovely in your wedding Dress! I am sure you will have a lovely wedding!
I hate consultants who IMMEDIATELY go over budget right off the bat. This one does that a lot. Gok never does.
Start within budget, end up over budget. Don't start out over budget.
There's no way that there wasn't another dress she could've started with.
Maria, the bride's mother picked out the dress and the consultant told her it was over budget.
this was such a wholesome episode 🥺

It's so nice to see a modest and demure bride. So many comments here say she's lovely and she is. It's so refreshing to see a bride who doesn't want to show of her butt and the girls in a s exy wedding dress.

2:01 Kim looks so much better without all this heavy makeup! Also love her new hair style ❤️
The bride is gorgeous and will look good in everything 💗❤️💖
The first one is nice. A lines are really flattering on most people. The neckline/illusion looks like cheap mesh from a flyscreen. The hem of the skirt is like a tea shop tablecloth. The second one made her shoulders look big and the illusion sleeves were also a bit granny-ish.

Brides should wear their hair up for trying on dresses. Or however they will wear on their wedding day.
This shop really annoys me. Budget 1500 first dress 1949 ,500 pounds over, 25% more. Are the consultants deaf. Why did the consultant even pull it. Check the price before you offer it.
This lovely young woman is vintage in style and in spirit. The world doesn't seems to value religion anymore. I feel this Bride is a good example of what we might be missing. Sweet, pleasant, polite, glowing, happy, respectful... I need to practice more of these qualities! I am so glad I saw this episode. Thank you for posting.
She looked so gorgeous in the dress she picked 😌🤧
What an adorable bride. She looks a little like a young Drew Barrymore.
This made me happy. Shes a delight
Michal is so pretty and sweet 🥺❤️
Ah she is absolutely beautiful 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤!! The dress looks stunning on her, literally made for her 😤💕. Also there's something about her voice and the way she talks that I'm in love with. ❤
I've seen this one before second time around I can just really see the beauty innocence an purity of Thier lifestyle shalom 💙💛
I hope when my daughters get married, I will just sit and say everything looks amazing, it is so hard to choose, which one do you love the most, even if they are black, or red or green. I just want my children to be happy with whatever they choose.
Her dress is absolutely gorgeous
The bride has the most beautiful voice
The best part of that dress is the neckline, and she had her hair hanging down the front. Pull it back!🤷♀️
How chic is grandma!

I really like the shopper lady. She's lovely!
Beautiful. Classic. Timeless bridal.
I loved the first dress she tried on her figure off
That dress is absolutely gorgeous on her ❤️
Why on earth can't they find a gown with similar silhouette in the bride's price range? These shows always floor me. That said, she looked gorgeous in her gown.
Wow the grandmother is so youthful
