Powerdrift videos used to be more than just a review, rather a love letter towards not just automotive enthusiasts but also cinematography editing and music which blended like a well oiled machine.
Look at this video now. I dont feel like watching a PD video. This is just amateur considering what you guys used to be. Now its just alot of unnecessary stuff and trying to be cool. You guys were a revolution in your early days, when you were motivated and focused. You used to stand out in the youtube crowd, now you are slowly becoming just another review channel. Its just sad. I am not telling you dont review good, but you used to do it in such a level that you guys were literally on god mode. Hope you go back to your drawing board and bring back atleast a miniscule of the ghost of powerdrift past.

Guys, an honest Powerdrift fan here. I subscribed to the channel after watching your Ecosport review. Your content back then was epic. Im seeing a downhill trend for the past 1 year or so. Please rethink your strategy. My suggestion - reduce the noise and focus on content.
Completely agree, the content off late (last few months) is shoddy AF. This isn't the Powerdrift we loved. Guys, you stood for creating the best automotive content in the country. We don't need such frequent videos, just compare your new stuff to the videos from 2 years ago and see if they match up. Time to go back to the drawing board and have a rethink, do you want to be just another auto channel or the best.
Exactly , I too subbed after the eco sport review . Back then they were the best ….now just another review channel
PD has become like any other review channel. It lost its editing, music, mainly the story they used to create.
Their 2 wheeler section, courtesy Shumi & Varun is still top notch though. Atleast imo

@@parikxitshinde1778 Polo is genuinely a very good car in terms of driving dynamics and build... but you have to agree that I looks dated now and even the interiors look old. Nothing against that car but you can't expect numbers of you continue without updating with time. Ecosport suffered the same way - it was one of the best (if not the best) in its segment - But Ford just didn't care to invest in it and kept it very basic. Chevy Cruise is another example. All these are/were clearly better than anything in their category

I have this feeling that PowerDrift videos, ever since Abhik and Raunak left, have become noisy and distasteful.
Don't get me wrong, the two wheeler reviews are still crisp and flawless, but the quality of 4 wheeler comparo have taken a big hit.

Rohan , please comeback from dubai and please make meaningful video and not this nonsense . I didnt understand where was the comparison even or what was he trying to do. The comparo between these two cars would have been epic, but alas we have this.
There has to be one clear winner in a comparison, unable to understand how both the cars are adjudged winners when the differences are spilled out pretty clearly during the entire video. Its more of a neutral review, very unlike what you people have been delivering so far. Disappointed this time around by your verdict

I agree bro .... it was mostly a review which in the end was trying to appease both of the brands. He could have ended his review by saying if you like looks go with XXX but if you like performance go with YYYY. But then may be he was scared whether he would get another video or not , if he did that 😀. As much as I like the honest review of bike by PD, still waiting for someone at PD to do a "carwow" kind of reviews on cars

Just Booked my Luxe Beige Baleno Alpha Manual today...90 days waiting....anyways wish me luck .....my first ever car....but i also love i20....both are fab cars....and right now, the prices between baleno and i20 are almost identical....
infact if you ask me, i20 is more VFM....for same price it is giving you a bigger touchscreen, Bose Sound system compared to Arkamys....a sunroof.....yes Baleno has a 360 cam and a HUD..but I would prefer the feature list of i20....
it's just that where I live the maruti network is much stronger and the workshop and this dealership is next door and also a friend of mine had an i20 elite and she told me her ownership experience was subpar in terms of reliability of the car...so i choose baleno...and also in this Luxe Beige colour, the Baleno just looks top notch..even better than i20 imho....
but of course looks are subjective....I agree with most of your points..I test road both of them for over 10 kms...multiple times....before making a choice...the tractability of baleno's engine is much better than i20...in terms of Naturally Aspirated options...i20 does have better high speed stability and brakes...but in terms of space, i20 is more spacious, sure the boot is a little smaller, but the rear seat space is unmatched, even putting some sub compact SUVs to shame...
i20 also has a lot of creature comforts such as wireless charger, air purifier and the list goes on....Baleno does have slightly better seats...
it's almost inseparable, like king kong vs godzilla....
anyways both are fantastic cars, anyone will be happy with either...and both are evenly priced as well with good dealer/service network and very acceptable ownership costs...i20 was released in 2019, maybe it is due for a minor update...

Why all videos are been presented by him, I miss Rohan and his flawless way of explaining it, I have been following you guys more than past 10 years and use to look up to your videos, I am literally now ignoring your videos when they popup in my notifications. This is something I never did and I have now inclined towards EVO and Overdrive more. They talk quite crisp and to the point. Your content taste has actually degraded.
Gonna miss Polo in this segment for sure.. Truly a beast ❤️

Mentioning the crash test rating in a review or comparison is very important as it influences the buying decision now a days. Apart from that, good comparison.
Tata fan boys think crash test rating will save their life while riding over 100kmph the answer is it might not...drive safely

Sir, I love PD reviews. But this felt boring until 2:45. Too much talk for very less review/comparison points.
Now a days your copy seems preety fancy, not able to connect with the reality. In short seems little fabricated.
Less points of parity more points of distinction please. In an attempt to flex your video editing skills you have almost forgotten how 2 cars are supposed to be compared!

What the leg room at the back? How's the boot space? You guys need to talk a lot more about the cars you are reviewing or comparing. What's the price, fuel efficiency, 0 to 60 km/hr, braking, maintenance cost and interval etc etc?

Their Partner channel Zigwheels is get way better in everything. Only good thing about PD is their 2 wheeler contents nowadays.

Loved the review/comparison. You're absolutely right. Both cars offer so much. Difficult to go wrong if you buy either.
Hyundai i20 should get a new facelift. But safety should be the high priority in these cars. They should put them selves in the customere place . Would they themselves be driving in these cars with less safety features.

There is so little in terms of info here in this review, honestly, PD never really focused much on smaller details but they used to be cinematic masterpieces of the time. This is just another generic youtube review. And no, why wouldn't you call out their relatively unsafe nature, 6 airbags and other safety tech are only useful as long as the car's structure doesn't collapse. Also, drop the "vs" from the title if you can't objectively put which car is better.

i20 is seemed to be overpriced. Actually if we compare the price of top end manual, its just 55k more expensive. And in that money we get a way more premium car and some more features here and there. Also space is better. i20 seems expensive because it also has a Turbo engine + a DCT gearbox
Honestly what a shit review, no detailed interior review, features comparison, only talked about engine options and couple of driving shots, and no clear winner either. Btw new Baleno's DRLs look like a cheap, ugly and a cost cutting measure. 360 degree camera is cool though, lets be honest, sunroof is not as useful as that.
