And they are proud about this problem😮

Fuel price in Angola is R 4.60 per liter after 48 percent hike, South Africa at almost R 24.00 per litre! We are paying for the diesel used by ESKOM, nevermind the loss of electronic and house hold items because of over and under voltage problems. Generators are meant for emergency only, not sustainable!

It's common knowledge the ANC uses the fuel needed for the ocgts for revenue

30 years of Democracy and what have we to show for it. If we had reliable electricity, maybe we could shed some light on it. But never mind, isn't this continent called "Darkest Africa" and we are just living up to that Moniker, at least in South Africa.

Yes a lot of businesses have shut down so that by itself has helped and mines have shut down, so there is nothing to be proud of .

  • @sihletngcobo

    Congratulations to the diesel suppliers.

More businesses have closed the past 12 month's/more solar and alternative means to keep residential lights on. They burning diesel like crazy to keep the lights on. The coal fleet is tired (exhausted) - cannot be sustainable and its operating at 58% i think?
