- It's been a week marked by bittersweet moments for former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter.
His controversial book about goings on at the power utility was launched.
But, it was also a week in which he received lashings from both his former employer and the Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan.
As if that was not enough, the ANC revealed that it was in the process of serving him with summonses overseas.

This Oldman is one of the biggest crook in the ANC.
I still don't understand why this guy is so feared.
Maybe the cyanide was concocted by him...
In this case Malema is right about his deceptiveness.
This man has lost all credibility, what a chop
pravin GUPTA GORDON
i watched the scopa questioning, goran answered almost nothing.
he was asked to answer something then he would go on a 30 minute monologue about car insurance.
Car insurance? 😂😂 I never watched it 😂😂
Maybe he's trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.
He know you love him, he know you worship him, once he say state capture, you will bow, as he sell your SOE, and allow steal ing money from Eskom. You will praise him for giving you cold winter with no electricity
LoL!
the snake
Snakes are skinny though.
Exactly Mr Gordhan you dont have humility.ANC always insists it can do no wrong but the facts reveal that they are the biggest mistake SA has ever made
hey doing
The minister (with a straight face) manages to say "Eskom is not just a feeding trough of the ANC, but a feeding trough for other institutions also" wow!
Gordon is way too smart for us black people 🤣..I am black, people.
Another gupte
Someone should educate these big wigs, they have a responsibility to report back to the ppl who pays their salaries. It's called transparency.
Expecting CEO's to be PI's + spokespeople on top of their primary functions says ppl are ducking + diving their responsibility. That's how Dekatso "bought" SAA for R51. 00.
We've heard ADR, he wrote a book, what more do you want from him?
It's time for some honest communication - the tight lipped treatment says, something gets hidden from those who pay for it all. Why?
We have young intelligent minds that can run this better than this old men.
1:46 he did not just say that. He did not.
Pravin you criminal need to sanctioned. Why are there no south African ministers india!!
These Reptilians though 🤡
whose going to pay for the legal costs for their court actions. Why dont you rather do your jobs!!!
Gordaan must go.
Braaaah 😪 Dom so so dom
DeRuyter behaving like a gossip instead of a CEO. If you're in a position of responsibility, you engage the legal mechanisms, don't write a glorified gossip column to push the story. Was he actually doing his job as a CEO or running a marketing campaign for a best seller.
@You are spot on. What factual and incriminating evidence did he really put out in his book that could be used to criminally charge individuals he spoke about? To be quite honest, Andre De Ruyter is more of a gossip monger, let alone for someone happen to be a lawyer, for that matter.
You conveniently ignore the report that was handed to the authorities including the hawks and the president’s office.
@Thomas Gosling
I did accept the report, do not misrepresent facts. Scopa is an authority just like others with the mandate to investigate. That's why they wanted De Ruyter to give them the same information he gave to others, but he chose to be selective because it turns that he unlawfully initiated an unauthorized private investigation of eskom matters instead of reporting and allowing the SIU to carry out the investigation.
You obviously did not read de Ruyters book , on several occasions culprits found conducting criminal activities were handed over the local police stations these criminals then appeared before the local courts only to be set free. During a ministerial visit even Beke Cele was present and informed about police and the justice system lame attitude. It was clear from de Ruyters book that he even presented evidence at a SCOPA meeting pleading for assistance in curtailing criminal activity in Eskom. A person must be reasonably dumb to think that those benefitting from criminal activity in Eskom would support investigations in Eskom that would affect their criminal financial benefit from Eskom.
@@koolerkool8008 you obviously did not read de Ruyters booke there are several references to criminal activities as well as incidents where culprits caught in criminal activity handed over to the police, brought before court to set free. Because de Ruyter could not trust the police he implemented private investigations into Eskoms criminal activity being funded by private companies. When the extend of criminal activities became clear implicating ANC minister some of these cowardly private companies withdrew their financial support from these investigations. Do not ever trust what you read in main stream media, read de Ruyters book, I bought the book for R259.00 it is much more affordable than MSM bullshit..
