Mushroom crown - rot exaltation - poison hand in the off hand, and you can switch to a Poison Flower Blooms Twice weapon (ideally antspur to add rot) in your main hand // that’s insane damage bonus
I tried using Poison Flower Blooms Twice, but the animation time just and aim just seems too long. Especially since you don’t have a lot of time to get the AoW in for some of the zoomie bosses.
People aren't talking about the best attack of every perfume bottle. Run+full Charged attack. It hits very hard, and it's really good to build up status effects. Just run on the face of the boss as if it was a wall and do a charged attack.
the charged one is so bad. it looks so cool but hitting it perfectly is way too hard and even then the dmg is mid at best. just hit a normal charged heavy for easily 30-50% more dmg
Great video! I was just browsing to look for builds after beating the DLC for the first time, and this is literally the build I had haha. Was super fun and felt strong but not OP. Poison hands go hard too!
NOOO!!! I didn't want to watch any DLC content but this popped up on my feed and more Poison Perfumes?! I can't watch this or your previous video but I'm going to leave a like for support. My eventual Serpentbone Blade build is going to be amazing! My work can't scale down fast enough so I can finish my current projects and get to the dang DLC. Dx
@magnolia549 Thanks for leaving a like man! I won't get into specifics, but knowing your preferred playstyles, there's so much content in the DLC I know you'll love!
@@the_jersey_side I really hope so too! I've been hearing talk about some issues with the DLC--like the difficulty spike, visual clutter with attacks and PC optimisations--but beyond that folks are enjoying it quite a bit.
@magnolia549 There was certainly some optimization they needed to do. On release day, there were a few moves that even gave me frame drops on PS5. But it seems much better after the latest patch. The difficulty is high, but follow what the game is telling you and it's quite tolerable!
Try out serpent flail, it’s AoW gives a lil fire buff to the weapon and when u do any attacks that hit the ground it causes an explosion. It’s a flail so the charged heavy sucks but it’s running heavies/jump attacks will do the explosion and do some decent dmg.
Pretty unique weapon and build. Impressive results. Also those were some insane dodges. Unrelatedly I finished the DLC a second time and I guess as should be expected so much more manageable, incl the final boss (which made me insanely frustrated the first time and felt mistly fair the second -- i guess it really is learnable lol). Personally think that heavy weapons with decent native guard boost (so like colossal weapons, one i used was the ancient meteoric ore greatsword) are really good with deflecting hardtear on that fight. Kind of a lower risk lower reward version of the parry strat. Don't know exactly how it works with lower guard level weapons, from my first character seems kind of frustrating, but yeah. Have you done much with that tear?
For my 3rd playthrough I just finished today, I used the Greatsword of Solitude. I'm not one to block or guard counter often, but I think that weapon would be perfect for that deflecting hardtear. It has a massive 89 physical defense when blocking!
@@nikolaosboukouvalas449 Both dex and Arcane increase weapon AR, but Arcane also increases the poison buildup. If you have to prioritize one stat, level Arcane!
@xXLunatikxXlul looks like it still works when you don't meet requirements! The buildup seems reduced, but it still self inflicts Deadly Poison in one cast
It is deadly, a few items have it in dlc, they specify in item description, also rolling sparks actually only got the bug fixed with the main projectile not despawning on walls, its still just as op damage wise
@@Foatizenknechtl that was just a result of it, imagine an invisible arrow that drops perfume clouds, if it touched not just the ground but also walls, it would just float there until the bullet life expired

well rolling sparks got nerfed to death xD
