Question: I have the AP-N1001 Flash - can I use this in conjunction with the new AP-305 Flash and RT-305 Wireless trigger? Use the AP-n1001 as a secondary flash and the AP-305 as the primary flash in a two flash setup.
Hi Chuck, the only way that you could use the AP-N1001 in this mode would be in either the S1 or S2 optical sensing modes and it would work best in a studio.
I want to use this off-camera. Since I don’t see a remote receiver pictured, I’m assuming it is built into the flash unit? Also, in amazon reviews, a lot of people are complaining that they can’t disable the sleep mode, but near the end of this video, he clearly says you can disable it. So which is it? And lastly, does it make a beep, and if so, can you disable that? Thank you to anyone who can answer these questions for me.
Hi, it can be purchased with the trigger set for remote usage but it can be also used in slave mode without the trigger set. As for the sleep mode, some of those reviews are for the older versions of these flashes, on this, it can be disabled without any issues and it does not make the beeping sound either.

Hi, I am very much intrigued by this remote. I was hoping Altura would come out with a remote to remotely change the levels on the speedlight. I have the E-TTL model, will the remote work with this model as well?

The RT-305 transmitter is specifically designed for the AP-305. But, if you already have the ap-c1001 there is some limited functionality by setting it to s1 when used with an ap-305.

Hello, Fred. If you purchased this transmitter and flash combination for your Panasonic camera you will not have any TTL functionality when the flash is mounted to the camera. With that being said, the RT-305 is a universal flash trigger. As long as your camera has a central connect pin the trigger should be able to work with the camera. The channel of the trigger and flash must match and you have to deactivate the electronic or silent shutter mode of your camera. Hi, the triggers will only work with the Altura Photo flashes.
