Digital Goja does the trigger only work with groups of flash or can it be used with a single flash?

Is it just me but it seems apn1001 recycle time is faster than ap305? I was using it yesterday and im like waiting 30 secs each time. Ive been getting alot of dark shots.
Hi, make sure that you are using fully charged batteries, the recycle time should be the same or even less.
can you please make a video to setup the nikon z50 the flash works just in U 1 dont work in manual mode. the trigger and the flash are in the same channel if i push test botton flash go off but dont work with the camera... is any setting i need to do with the camera? please help me
Hello Ray! Both the flash and camera have to be set to manual in order to operate the flash off camera with the RT-305. If the flash isn't working either on the camera or off-camera, you want to make sure that you deactivate the silent shutter mode. Please contact us directly at support@digitalgoja.com. This system is really fantastic!
To confirm:
1) The RT-305 does not support off camera high speed sync HSS. (Correct?)
2) To get off camera HSS, you need to mount another AP-305 on the camera, and just turn the flash on camera to off. (Correct?)
Hi Kelly, thank you, you are correct with both of your questions, for the second one you need two AP305, one in commander and one in the receiver. If you do not want the flash on the camera to affect exposure it can be deactivated by toggling through the modes.

Hello, Omar Quershi. I'll be glad to assist you. If you are working with an AP-305 flash for either Sony or Nikon, toggle through the groups on your master flash until it says M as the group. You will see this on the left of the screen above the antenna symbol. Then press the mode button until you see the symbol for no flash. This will deactivate your master flash from firing but still maintain it as the controlling flash. If you are working with a Canon version of the flash, you will have to have your controller flash set to Group A and your off-camera flash set to group B. Once you complete that you follow the same steps as I stated above to deactivate the flash firing in group A. If you need further assistance, contact us directly at Support@digitalgoja.com. Followed the tutorial and downloaded both PDF’s. Flash on the cameras hotshoe works but the remote will not connect with flash. Batteries work fine
Hi, please make sure that you are in the viewfinder mode.
Digital Goja definitely am in viewfinder mode. When using the remote in the hotshoe it only works on group A B or C. Manual mode not so much.

Please help me connect my AP-305C to the RT-305 using the canon EOS Rebel T7
I tried all the settings, they seem to be both on the same channel, and the test button isn't responding on the flash nor does the flash respond when I take a picture (this is all when trying to use the trigger and the flash wirelessly)
The flash only responds when it is mounted to the actual camera but not when it is off the camera using the trigger as I mentioned... I would like a detailed description video or write up of the exact settings it needs to be on and How exactly to access those specific settings both on the Trigger (transmitter) and the flash because when I read the manual it started telling me what to do and then moved on to another subject that I wasn't interested in
Hello, Sruli Stock. Sorry that you are having difficulties with this kit. Unfortunately, The RT-305 manual flash trigger isn't compatible with the Canon Rebel T7. The compatibility issue comes down to Canon removing the central pin on the camera's hotshoe that is needed for manual flashes and triggers to operate. In order to use the AP-305 off-camera you can trigger it by the camera's built-in flash with modes S1/S2 or you can purchase an additional AP-305 flash to act as the transmitter. This would give you ability to operate the flash off-camera in either TTL or Manual.
Hello, which is your hss 1/8000?. I need to use high speed sync so i can shoot above 250 of the second in my rebel t6i. And then buy this. Help please. If it can do.....can be used with godox trigger..??
Hello Angel B. The AP-305c flash is HSS compatible when mounted to the hotsoe of the Canon T6i. If you want to achieve HSS off-camera, you would need to purchase a second flash unit and set it as the controller. I don't have experience with Godox's flash trigger, but you could try the X1-T for canon to see if it works. Thanks for watching!

Hello, Ray Torres. To set up your camera to shoot remotely with the RT-305 transmitter, make sure that the flash is set to the wireless radio receiver mode and the channel number matches the channel switches on the RT-305 trigger. By default, all switches down on the RT-305 is channel 1. Next, Install the RT-305 onto your camera and change the mode dial to M and set the shutter speed no faster than 1/200th of a second. Do you know if you sync 35 flashes in a circle around a matchstick and fire them in rapid succession 3 times each it will turn the matchstick into groot! Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Also it has to be in full manual under full power.

@Tom Czuper Absolutely! The RT-305 manual flash trigger allows you to control multiple flashes off-camera. In fact, you can control up to 8 flashes per group (A/B/C). The RT-305 also gives you the ability to adjust the power levels of each flash independently when the flashes are set to different groups. Thanks for watching!

It is not communicating
Try accessing the C.Fn feature on the AP-305 by holding in the zoom button (3 seconds) and rotate the command wheel till you see Id-. It should say Id-OF. If there is any number next to Id the RT-305 and AP-305 will not pair even though the same channel and group are set.
