Love my Pan-Am but man getting to the airbox is such a pain for cleaning.

It can be. I actually tore the wires out of the rear fuel injector when the fuel line caught on them and I lifted the tank up. Messed up the pin connectors and had to replace them inside the plastic housing. Such a pain. Harley doesn’t give you any extra length of wire to work with either.

    Awesome video, thank you.
What is the part number of that plastic piece to block the heat on the left side? I’ve been looking for it could could not find it in the parts diagrams

Thanks for watching. I'll have a short video dedicated to the heat shield in an upcoming video but the part number youre looking for is 57001820. Its listed as a 2023 model year part. youll also need a long zip tie and a harness clip part number 70681-09 that retains the front spark plug wire.

Wish I would have seen this video two hours earlier! Would have saved me time at the dealership! 🤣

Thanks for watching. I try to help out the DIY'er with simple things that you can do yourself. I rerally don't see the sense in paying the dealer $400 to change the oil when everything in the service is pretty much just cleaning, adjusting and lubricating everything other than the oil.
