I know morimot has led bulbs for taillights on f150 and theyre resistor free but a pair is 60 bucks so all 3 pairs will be 180

Diggin the truck! How's the lift holding up? I want to do the same to mine but keep hearing about premature failure of the axels
I have more than 10K miles on the lift with no issues. I think it's pretty clear Ford had a bad batch of front CV axles as many people have had problems. I don't think it had much to do with lift kits as I've seen lots of stock trucks experience the same problems.

Not sure why manufacturers still use halogen bulbs. How much more are led lights?

Keep in mind price, $20 extra here for X plus $100 for Y then suddenly $1000 in upgrades to mfg = $3000 to us or whatever that cost formula is. Price is a big reason these sell. I bought mine and put all I could from factory then started adding things I prefer when I can. I love driving my Maverick

Kind of an unnecessary job. Factory lights are sufficiently bright. If the upgrade is for nervous drivers to feel more comfortable with super bright lights, go for it. They look so bright that they may blind tail-gaters as well. Leave in the factory bulbs.
