2023 Ford Maverick XLT Speaker Upgrade Part 4 - Subwoofer Kicker 46HS10 "Hideaway"

This is the final part of my audio system upgrade series. If you have watched them all, thank you. If not, I still hope you got some useful information from the videos. I installed a Kicker Hideaway 10” into my Ford Maverick. It fit perfectly behind the back seat once I removed the factory B+O subwoofer bracket. There is a full, unedited video which will go up a day after this video airs. That has the full ~4 hour process of preparing and installing everything - to include the sound dampening and me doing a second attempt at the power control (changing from signal controls to 12v controls). It was a bit of a wild ride for me up to this point because I have never attempted to change out ALL of the speakers in a vehicle before. It was allot of learning and allot of fun.

Hey did you have to connect or wire up the blue wire?
I dont have any led turning on for me. I’m wondering if that’s why?

Question, I noticed ur using a wireless Android / Apple adapter. It looks like the one I use in my 22 XLT Maverick. Do you have issues with it disconnecting all the time? Mine does and it's super frustrating 😢.

I don't understand how these things work, does this amplify the power going to the speakers through the existing speaker cables?

For this Install, he tapped into the front speaker wiring for a full range signal to send to the subwoofer. The subwoofers built in crossover will filter out the high frequency sounds that it cannot reproduce well. I'm in the process of doing a similar install now.
