I'm going from Rope Dart to Whip now to keep my study of Flow arts and really appreciate these. Thanks for having some awesome ways to practice that don't cost an arm and leg. I can't wait to try and work on my accuracy.
This guy is a whip cracking machine, and also apparently a Blues Traveler fan if the harmonica work is any indication. I support both. Well done, my man. Well done.
Comment for DAkitty whips. I own a 5 ft budget hybrid and am getting a super cool performance whip that is a one off. Dakitty whips are excellent whips made by a very knowledgeable maker. She has teaching videos to replace the cracker and fall on her whips.
I practice accuracy cutting leaves, going point to point, or the stem, dandelion flowers I cut them, pick them or obliterate them, and I love cracking wasp, I pick apples out of reach. Of course wrap sticks and grab or throw them. I go on whip walks and prune as I go, most of my whips are stained green. I make a hunters lash, or sort of stock whip, but I use ropes cuz I beat them up. About to pick it back up after a long time no cracking. I used my whips to signal and manage my sled dog team, no whipping dogs, the cracks will stop them barking fighting and they all look at you for directions.
Good video! I just bought a 5' foot (6' including the handle) bull whip and now I have to learn how to use it. I live in the desert and there are rattle snakes that I have to round up.
AWESOME VIDEO ADAM! Thanks for replying by actually making a video on this, it really means a lot, really cool of you! Keep ‘em coming! 5 STARS (old reference)
I would love to see a how to make a performance hybrid tutorial. I recently got into whip making and cannot find anything for that on the whole internet.
Cade I put the candle out with a 12 foot bullwhip, so theoretically targeting with a 10 foot whip should be easier than that. Just start whipping a water bottle and see how it goes.
Thank you for sharing! I’m looking to fix my shredded fire whips, and always want to know more about targeting. Who’s your favorite fire whips maker? Awesome!
Dude I just found your page and I think you're awesome. As someone who's never worked with a whip before but is interested in trying it out, what type of whip would you recommend for a beginner
I knew you were a cool dude with your whip skills, but then I heard you play a little Hook from Blues Traveler around 9:00 and I said, "This dude is the real deal!"
B Tango I started playing harmonica in the 90s and Hook and Run Around were every where. They were mind-boggling to me. I only managed to learn those solos a couple years ago after getting a slow downer app.
Hey Adam nice vids, just baught a 12 whip Australian I think? Now I need to learn how to use it, "whips 101"? Harder than I thought it would be, might hurt myself? After watching your vids thinking I should have started shorter?
Thanks for the video Adam. Who made your 6 foot and 8 foot bullwhip? Who should I look up online that makes good shot loaded leather bullwhips that aren't crazy expensive?
Mark Lipps The 6 ft whip is from DavidMorgan dot Com, the 8 foot bullwhip is from Bernardo Del Carpio. Any leather whip worth owning is probably crazy expensive, but look up The Whip Man, Peter Jack.
@@Adam-Winrich Then how would you compare the target whipping acts (i.e. in the circus) of today with 40-50 years ago? Even the styles differ when it comes from different countries or continents.
Aw, those Indiana Jones movies are a bunch’a crap! Nobody could possibly do all that stuff with a whip! (Watches video) I’d like to rescind my prior statement.
I just got an old leather whip, after an hour I found this video and it's what I was looking for. Great video thanks! 🙏🙏🙏

3:19 when you teach someone how to crack a whip and they manage to crack it

Cool! Now I have a new quarantine activity.

Brilliantly executed and well taught. Thank you so much!
Awesome whippage Adam. All your whips roll out so smooth and effortless, I love it.
Adam you are awesome. Thank you for posting these videos.
Everybody: what's so hard about cutting pasta?
Adam: I'm about to show you what's so hard about it!
(Proceeds to make it look easy)
Good video! I just bought a 5' foot (6' including the handle) bull whip and now I have to learn how to use it. I live in the desert and there are rattle snakes that I have to round up.
You are awesome man. I wish I could hang out with you for a week and just learn everything i can
Adam you are awesome. Thank you for posting these videos. They inspire me to drag my old nylon bullwhip out and have a cracking time
I just bought a whip I'm so excited to start!!

thanks for sharing the knowledge. puts one years ahead of reinventing. also, well produced and fun to watch
9:32 So fluid and one with the whip. Very cool

WEST-E-MON the closest thing is using Nick Schrader’s tutorial on how to make a stockwhip
when a target comes a long you must Whip it!
Whip it good!
Don;t see anyone mentioning how absolutely jacked Adam is looking lately, and idk about everyone else but I'm thoroughly impressed.
Great video Adam. Thanks for always sharing and teaching.
Awesome video Adam!!! Thank you so MUCH!! Keep up the INCREDIBLE WORK!!!
A great training video , thank you Adam, and a hat tip to you Sir for the kind heads up, Fortune and Glory Sir! fortune and glory!
Your videos are very informative and super entertaining. Thanks for the lesson!
Adam,I love your vids!
Always love watching you and great instructional video! Thank you for doing these!
Great video, thanks for the great tips
Excellent video. Thank you!
Great work!
Love the blue travelers harmonica
Mad skills, love your videos. Keep it up!
What about a 10ft wooden handle bullwhip? Would that be easier to target with? Harder?
Cade I put the candle out with a 12 foot bullwhip, so theoretically targeting with a 10 foot whip should be easier than that. Just start whipping a water bottle and see how it goes.
Just ordered a 12’ kangaroo hide bullwhip! Is this a good choice?
What do you use for your cracker?
Thank you for sharing! I’m looking to fix my shredded fire whips, and always want to know more about targeting. Who’s your favorite fire whips maker? Awesome!
I make all of my own fire whips.
@@Adam-Winrich okay I shall learn then. Gotta fix ‘em!
2:55 's got a pretty sick beat!
Does cutting pasta or paper etc wear the Cracker out much more quickly?
Even when he’s teaching he sounds like a performer
how would pasta ever be cut, ? were it not for bullwhips.?

Get a 5 ft performance hybrid whip from www.dakittywhips.com

Dude you’re awesome
so what exactly is the difference between The cattleman's crack in the overhand flick
Seth Vassallo Cattlemans Crack: swing the whip up and then down. Flick: throw the whip forward like throwing a ball.
Nice work
Thank you Adam! Keep the tutorials coming!
Dance ya varmint! Oh and dont forget the more advanced users, remember you picking a roll up off the floor then splitting it in mid-air combo.
Hey Adam nice vids, just baught a 12 whip Australian I think? Now I need to learn how to use it, "whips 101"? Harder than I thought it would be, might hurt myself? After watching your vids thinking I should have started shorter?
Yeah, a 12 ft whip is long for the variety of cracks taught nowadays. A 7 ft bullwhip would be better.
wicked, dude!
Cool outro

@@Adam-Winrich Hey thanks a bunch for the advice. I'll just save up I've always wanted a David Morgan whip.
them dislikes are those from those from people who got this used on lmao.
How do today's whip cracking performances differ from say about 40-50 years ago?
I think the importance of two-handed whip cracking has increased and the importance of targeting routines has decreased because of it.
@@Adam-Winrich Then how would you compare the target whipping acts (i.e. in the circus) of today with 40-50 years ago? Even the styles differ when it comes from different countries or continents.
Here I am past 3 am wondering how I ended up here
Quite good that, off to attack a water bottle now.
Very epic.
Great video, but you need a mic.
a'ight, Imma try this with a qi lin bian
Good 😉👍🏻💥
I don't have any whips but I have a belt
👌🏻✊🏻
bro you need instagram
You can hit someone with bullwhip.
At first I thought nothing was happening, continuous pausing and playing told me otherwise.
With some more practice, I think you could be pretty decent
Okay who's here because they're researching slavery?🤠
