    I just bought a 2006 lexus gs300 all wheel drive fully loaded with a brand new engine put in from lexus under 90k miles ago for $450.. the lady thought it had alot of problems and felt bad for selling it to me .... It was just the serpentine belt causing the radio to not work, the ac to not work,the power steering to not work,the headlights to go dim and the battery to die and not start... $20 and now I have an $8-$10k car

    Owner- the 2007 GS350 is stellar in every facet . Exterior has clean lines pleasing to view. interior very nicely appointed ergonomically well thought out. Might be a little rough for an older person whose not flexible and spry to get in and out of because of its lower design stance , but that could be helped by some adjustments for your particular needs by using the advanced seating control’s to dial in your ideal comfort zone. a lot of ergonomic options come with the electric luxury leather seats. They're also heated and cooled depending on the weather conditions you're experiencing. Power? This model has power over 300 hp which really makes it fun drive fact ! Anyway all components follow suit with my review so I’m not going to go into each and every nut & bolt on this beauty . It’s a Lexus so expect premium parts that last. One recommendation, cover it or preferably garage it . Theirs no reason this 2007 GS350 model shouldn’t look like it just rolled off the showroom floor in 2021 and future years ahead. Hope you get a chance at owning this well made Lexus. Cheers

    Looking to get a 2006 GS430 or 2008 GS460. I currently own a 2013 ES350 which now has only 42k miles. Ironically i bought it 2 years ago today with only 30,009 miles on it (I’m the 2nd owner). Reliability has been amazing. Nothing has broke or needed repair at all ! Did 2 synthetic oil changes myself over 2 years and thats it . It is in excellent condition, always garage kept ad pampered. My ES is up for sale on a few sites, eBay motors cargurus and FB market place. Need to get rid of my high car payment and get into a much lower payment
    Been researching the GS and was thinking about the 350 but would like more power. Ive read the GS300 has oil burning issues over 100k miles so im going to stay away from them
    Definitely will go either GS430 or GS460, 100-125K miles is nothing and dont want to spend more than $11k if possible

      Happy to hear you enjoying your Lexus ownership and staying with the Lexus brand for your next purchase. Yes what your looking for is definitely a much powerful car compared to the 350. I hope you find a great example and best of luck 🙏👍

      @@artysgarage thanks ! Here is another example of Toyota/Lexus reliability. In 1986 I bought a brand new Toyota MR2 5 speed manual. My first new car ever. I was 22 years old and overly excited. I changed the oil myself every 3000 miles kept the car for seven years and sold it with 73,000 miles. Not one major repair was needed. In fact I always downshifted and engine braked and never change my brake pads nor rotors !!
      I’ve had a few German cars and for the most part they were decent but my last experience was miserable. Summer of 2018 I bought a high mileage (93k) 2013 X5 and within eight long months I sunk over $2000 into it for repairs. I couldn’t sell it privately and had to trade it in for my Lexus 2013 ES350
      They truly are empty $ pits over 5 years old and over 50k miles.
      In 2011 I bought a 5 speed manual Passat V6 wagon with about 75k miles. Fun to drive and solid. After about 4 years of owning it the main CPU wouldn’t interface with NY DMV’s inspection computer. To replace that unit would’ve cost more than the car was worth and I wound up selling it for $1800

      @artysgarage  5 років тому +1

      Yea for the Lexus/Toyota brand my favorite car is the Toyota Supra which comes with the 2jz engines. This Lexus gs350 I was talking about was a v6!

      This car has a 2gr-fse with a s/c you can make 450 wheel np stock internals

    how about gs300?

    • @artysgarage
      @artysgarage  3 роки тому +1

      Also a great car but with the gs300 you get a 3.0 and with the gs350 you get a 3.5 which gives more power. At the end of the day it’s all about the deal you get and personal preference. Lexus overall is a solid car!
