Funny thing about the xenoblade games, every new entries I tried made me understand some aspects of the gameplay of the previous game I played: XC3 made me understand the importance of class categories for XC1(the difference between attacker and tank especially) XC2 made me understand the importance of hitting the attack during the auto attack for XC3 Torna DLC made me understand better the functionning of the elemental orb for the main XC2 game (even if it's different)
In XC2 base game I changed the options to have the meters charge faster so I could do cool moves more often but also increased the HP and damage of enemies for the fights to last as long and be as challenging. It worked great. I think this is what the devs did with Torna.
best thing about torna. the enemies have reasonable health. in 2 the enemies are sponges. even when im ten levels higher with good equipments it still feels like killing one normal enemy takes ages

Yeah they do a good job at explaining certain elements and expanding upon them in their respective expansions

Xenoblade 2 made me feel bad for Jin while Torna made Jin my fave character ❤
I think Torna has the best side quests. I loved the mandatory side quests
