You helped me find the Levo machine so let me help you out: bubble hashish makes way better butter, oil than flower..
The best starts with bubble hash!
Then press it with 25 micron bags to get hash rosin.
My caramels made with bubble hashish are exquisite! Yes.. hashish in the Levo.
    Just don't use the container/filter.
There's little to no impurities in hashish if done right.
Every time you use flower you ARE putting chlorophyll in your...whatever your making.
I use 16 grams for normal tolerance, 32 for me.. thats in the 16oz levo2.
So basically 1-2 grams(hash) per oz of coconut oil, butter.

I Just love you! My adult daughters and I love making your recipes. You've taught me so much about working with this plant and I'm able to then teach my girls.. I do take the credit there tho lol.. I hope you don't mind hehe. So my issue with the gummies is that when I coat them in the sugar mixture at the end is that they become wet and yucky. Do you have a tip to avoid that? I've just been leaving a little dish of sugar and citric acid next to the gummies and drop them in for a coating right before eating. Still, id like to be able to package them up completely done and coated.

    • @DiamondDelightEdibles
      @DiamondDelightEdibles  4 роки тому +3

Allow them to sit out a couple hours before coating them. When they come out of the frdge they are cold, as they warm moisture can form, citric acid is water soluble. Allowing them to warm and dry a bit should resolve the issue. You can also add a very small amount of corn starch to the sugar mix, no more than a 1/4 tsp.

you can replace the corn syrup with canna syrup. You could but I don't recommend it. I found it works better keeping it half and half. You can use cannasugar and regular sugar to make a sugar coating to increase dosing.

If I were to add lecithin into the mix for this recipe, would I use about 1 teaspoon? I normally add about 3 tablespoons of alcoholic tincture for the hard candy syrup. I'm just uncertain if I add the lecithin to the hard candy syrup before or after heating as well? Also thanks so much, this recipe has helped me out for months, and I'm told they're exactly like store bought gummies!

I line a sided (with sides, some have no sides) cookie sheet with parchment paper or wax paper, (I prefer wax paper) after my candy mixture has cooled but has not set, poor it out on the lined cookie sheets and allow it to set. After it has firmly set, I cut it up with a knife. I cut them evenly because I need to calculate the dosage of each piece, to have about the same THC in each one, they must all be alike. Then I sugar them, I usually just do squares, but you can cut them like long worms or what ever suits you. Just FYI, the molds just look nicer, but they all taste the same, no matter how they are shaped, less fuss, less clean-up, too! I am all about less clean-up! LOL

Do you have to use citric acid? I have bad acid reflux and have to avoid any food that contains citric acid.

Can you use corn starch instead of the clear jel to thicken it?

Really interesting, thanks!. However, the only step I prefer is the 'final' step..... where it goes in my mouth. :-))

Just an FYI I believe you mentioned heating up the water for the blooming I believe it’s supposed to be cold like you’ve said in you’re previous videos hope this helps anyone who’s getting the sticky stuff from the unflavored gelatin

Hi Liz, new sub here. I have a question regarding storage. How do these hold up at room temperature? I attempted gummies a while ago with just gelatin and Jello and they would “melt” at room temperature, they also went moldy after a month or so in the fridge. I’m excited to try your recipe, just a little concerned about shelf life and storage.

Do not store in ziplock bags, I found they cause the candies to go moldy. Store in glass container, cello or mylar bags. They stay set at room temp. I never store mine in the fridge and they never melt.
