I have to say that all of the groups I have seen Kenny play with he always gives it 100%. He seems like a hardworking down to earth guy. This guy definitely earns his money.

I saw Kenny in an early show -- over 30 years ago -- drummer for John Cougar Mellancamp -- they were the back up for Heart -- Kenny started with an amazing drum beat and the band completely stole the show. Amazing band and drummer.
I met Kenny in person in 1993 and since then I have become an admirer of his work and his person. A constant inspiration and one of the best examples of being human and professional. Thanks Dom for the brilliant interview!

What a great interview. As a fan and a drummer, I'm glad to know that Kenny cataloged his discography. I love looking at what drummer has played on different tracks. Even when I play songs in a cover band, if I know who played drums on a certain track, I look at it as an actor and play the drums like that "character." One of the first songs I ever learned and loved to play was "Jack and Diane" with Kenny's iconic drum break. 30+ years later, I'm playing that song and drum break. Kenny, you are an inspiration.

Kenny is the Best . I was so lucky to be Invited by Charlie Allen Martin the original Drummer for Bob Seeger . Kenny was playing the 1996' Tour and the Last concert was a sold out Pine Knob . so i was back stage and was able to see Kenny work from 8 feet behind him to the left , He practices what he preaches . And i remember after the show when everybody sat down and had dinner he was so full of energy and positivity and ate like a Lion , cause thats what he is A BADDASS CAT . Very inspiring Man .

Kenny is funny, his like a comedian and his New York accent adds to that, a very cool guy a band and a person can be surrounded with.
First was aware of him when he was drumming for the BoDeans . He definitely could go on to be a motivational speaker . So much energy !

This guy is the drug for depression...freak of nature...energy like a teen! A pattern of "feeling good" is peppered all over this interview. Could Kenny be a hard core addict that takes life as a drug? An addict that uses life wisdom? Best way to go really...
