Lilly of the woods is looking so beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Nice work on Lily's face. Don't feel bad that you have to delay a star. It will wait for you!!
Thank you! I was so happy to get her expressions done :). Thank you for saying that and you're right... starts will always wait for us haha. Happy stitching!
You have been a stitching machine, my friend. The face is lovely on your Mirabilia. Congratulations. Lovely video.
Thank you Sarah! I'm lucky to have a lot of stitching time now, but I know it probably won't last. Just a season of life I'm in ha! Glad you enjoyed the update.
Love all your fancy ladies Andrew! And Winston is lucky to have a dad that cares so much for his well being! I brush my chihuahua’s teeth and so far so good not to much bad breath! Lol! Happy running and happy stitching!
I do love stitching fancy ladies for some reason! They are just so beautiful! That's great your chihuahua lets you brush their teeth. Winston really doesn't like it ha. Thanks for watching and your support!
Hey Andrew, so good to see you again, I love your flosstubes, always detailed and interesting. Such varied styles and designers. Always a good watch, not missed one yet! Take care, enjoy your running, until next time. 🏴
Thank you! So glad you're enjoying the channel. I do stitch a lot of different things, but I think it's because I find it all so beautiful and want to try each piece ha. It's also fun to have different style projects to work on. Thanks for keeping up with the videos :). Happy stitching!
Great update! Lily is looking fabulous!!! 🤩
Thank you Sarah! 😊
Love seeing all your progress. Lilly is looking amazing.
Thank you! I was so excited to get her facial expressions in. Each step is such a fun journey!
Wow, so many beautiful pieces Andrew! 😍😍 You can be very proud 😊 Don‘t stress about all the SALs, the charts will still be there later and you can join anytime. Love your „Fruits of Plenty“ colors and excited to see your big progress on that this month. Have a great trip and run 😊
Thank you! Appreciate you saying that and you're right the SALS and starts will always be waiting for us. The hobby has to be fun and sometimes we are just called on other things. I do enjoy it all though ha. Happy stitching!
I love that you mix running and cross stitching together. I live in Fargo and we have a marathon here every May. The route is fairly flat and it takes you on paths, campuses and through our downtown. In the past there has been a band playing almost every mile. I think that tradition has continued.
I grew up in Duluth MN where Grandma's Marathon is held. That marathon starts in Two Harbors and you run to Duluth. It is primarily downhill. The finish line is at the lift bridge which is an iconic landmark where the Great Lake ships go under during the shipping season. It is a sight to behold!
Maybe your future plans could include one of those marathons.
Good luck with your training, and your May stitching. I will look forward to seeing your progress.
Carmen from Fargo
Hi Carmen! Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy the combination of running and stitching that I share! Oh both of those sound like lovely races to consider! I haven't been to either of those locations so would be fun to visit. if I do, I'll let you know! So many great races. Happy stitching!
That work is just magnificent!
Aww thank you very much!
Always a joy to watch you Andrew 😊 Good luck with all your goals this month! You certainly have your plate full, but what a yummy full plate. Have so much fun with your first beading experience … I have yet to take that leap! Until the next stitch ❤
Thank you! It is definitely a full month, but all things I love ha. The Fruits goal is a lot, but it'll be such great progress to make on the piece!
Andrew it’s quite ok to step back and pivot on plans!! There are no cross stitch police. You are doing some amazing work! My pup would not let me touch her teeth. She had to have almost all pulled. She’s much better now. I just am not about forcing my furry children to do something they don’t want to do, lol! Safe travels, see you again soon!
Thank you for saying that. I do love plans, but sometimes they just don't go as we think and that's ok! Aww so you know what I was dealing with for Winston! I hated to force him to have his teeth cleaned, but they are much better now! Thanks for your support!
As always your stitching is beautiful. Enjoy your trip to Austin. I hope the weather is nice. Happy stitching!
Thank you so much! It looks like it will be great weather :). Happy stitching!
Love seeing your progress on your WIPs. I was especially impressed with face detail on your lady. Nice job. And the slumber party bunny slippers are just too cute. Thanks for sharing your love of stitching with us.
Glad you enjoyed this update. I too love those bunny slippers! ha. happy stitching!
Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Thank you! 😊
Great projects! Good luck with all the beads. I actually like doing the beads.
Thank you! I'm excited for the beading. I really enjoyed that part of the few Mill Hill kits I've done, but I've never done a larger beading project. Looking forward to it though!
You got me with those adorable bunny slippers. Too cute. Your mermaids are gorgeous. All of your projects are beautiful. I love seeing all the progress you make. Back in the day I used scroll frames all the time. When I came back to stitching I have used them on occasion. The beauty of scroll frames is that your fabric doesn’t get wrinkled. I tried q snaps which are new since back in the day and I don’t care for them. They seemed awkward to me. I like the Nurge hoops because they keep the fabric tight and they are easier to hold for me. Each to his own. As I say, whatever works. Looking forward to seeing what you have to share next time.
Glad you also think the bunny slippers are adorable! That's probably my favorite motif so far! Yes to each his own. Whatever we enjoy stitching on we should :). Thanks for your support of the channel and happy stitching!
I am working on Bee Queen, so much fun, especially this time of the year! Happy stitching😊
Oh awesome! I'm looking forward to starting her :)
Hello Andrew I cannot wait to see bee queen completed.I am stitching strawberry faire. Your choice of strawberry chart is awesome I am drawn too Amish themed charts. Thanks for sharing your WIPS. Pleased to see the main is returning. Happy stitching.
Thank you! Strawberry Faire looks gorgeous. Definitely bring that out in June for some more strawberry stitching! I really like the Told in a Garden charts and I'm excited to start my first one! Happy stitching!
Such amazing progress!!! Loved seeing all of these pieces 🌴🌺🌊
Thanks so much! 😊
I stumbled on your channel tonight and I’m glad i did! Your stitching is beautiful
Aww thank you so much for the kind words and welcome to my channel! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I try to post every 2 weeks, so hope you'll come back to see more updates! Happy stitching!
Hi Andrew
Love all of your WIPS - Beautiful Stitching
I have one project on Navy Blue Fabric and another one on Black Fabric. Both are 14 Count. I admire you for having so many pieces on Black Fabric.
Take Care & Happy Stitching
❤️🤗🧵🦯🧵❤️
Thanks so much! Black or dark is definitely not as easy, but I do enjoy the results :). Happy stitching!
In my youth, I once converted beads on a Mira to either Kreinik or Rainbow Gallery, because it was a tighter/smaller fabric than I usually used.
That's always an option too!
Another lovely video, you have some great projects in-work! And welcome to the GaRon family, it’s always fun to hear them mentioned in the wild! I also get the Fox and Rabbit 40ct fabric of the month. Faded hippie was so fun, I really want to find something to stitch on it!!
Thank you so much! Yes, I was glad they had a few spots left for Fox and Rabbit. I haven't stitched on their linens before, but I'm excited to try 40ct. I also need to find a project for the beautiful fabric!
Loved all your updates!! Beautiful work ❤
Thank you so much!
Great work, Andrew! ❤
Thank you! :)
My Fruits of Plenty is also in green!
Amazing! I love the green colors on that piece.
Aquarium is my third Lola Crow SAL. For Library and Greenhouse I didn't buy in until a few parts had already been released so I was behind from the get go. This time I got in on the ground floor and bought the pattern the first day the frame was released. There were six weeks to stitch the frame and the frame has 6 pages. Easy, I thought, a page a week. Now almost 4 weeks in I have still not quite finished the second page. So much for keeping up. It seems like I have stitched on it a lot too! Sooo many stitches. So I will plug along at my snail's pace and we will finish when we finish, I guess. Her designs are so fantastic though and one cannot really appreciate them fully until you are into the stitching and see what magic she can do with just a little backstiching or adding a few stitches of a different color. I will watch for your start but will not hold my breath. The bottom line is that we love stitching and so many designs bring us pleasure so why not stitch them all!!!
Congrats on making progress on the Aquarium frame! It's definitely a lot of stitches ha. I say go at your pace and don't worry about it. You're right we have so much we love to stitch and so many designs bring us happiness so we should do it on our own time :). However, Lola Crows patterns are so incredible and I definitely want to stitch this up at some point!
Your mermaid is fab Andrew! You sure like bigger patterns but you’re really making good progress following WiPGO and your goals for that. It will be fun having you start the Bee Queen along with me. Then as I start all the other things to get me to my 50, I’ll be able to live out her stitching vicariously as I watch you make more progress on her than I will 😉
Thank you Sarah! I'm excited to start the Bee Queen with you and hopefully get some progress this summer on her :). I'm still in awe of your 50 starts, it's so cool!
You got a lot of stitching done!
I love the pancake pattern because it feels so random.
The Mirabilia rotation sounds like a fun system to implement.
It was so nice to see Fruits of Plenty! It's been a good minute since we've seen her.
Thanks Yoshi! The pancakes will be pretty random, but fun ha. It was definitely time for Fruits to get some love :)
Hi Andrew, I've just discovered your channel via Catkin and Lillie. I'm impressed to hear you're a runner also - I love trail running (probably more than cross-stitching, to be honest! But it's nice to have an indoor hobby for the winter months, and something to do while resting from running injuries).
Goodluck with your 10k in June, and marathon in October.
Hope Winston is feeling ok after his vet visit!
Cheers 🇦🇺👍
Welcome to the channel! I really enjoy Kat's channel and I'm glad you found mine through her! I haven't done much trail running (living in NYC the options are limited on trails ha). But I agree it's nice to have an outdoor hobby and a recovery hobby :). Winston is doing great, back to his normal self!
This is great. I was watching Janet Jaber and your video popped up. I am going to stich on Epic Pokemon with you. I love Told in the Garden/ Lavender and Lace. The Strawberry one is on my wishlist. I have two new ladies I am starting on this month. Your Fruits of Plenty is looking great. I call them Start alongs because as a mood stitcher I don't always feel like working on a project. I am still not finished with Haunted Library. As soon as I finish that one I will buy and start the aquarium. I love the slippers and invitation, so cute. I can't believe how fast you are working on Lily. The face looks great. Love your start on Gaia. Great video.❤
Awesome! I'm so impressed with your Epic Pokemon stitch and glad you could get some more progress during my video :). Thanks for all the kind words :). I'm so happy with Lilly's progress and finally to have facial expressions! Appreciate your support and happy stitching!
For Gaia, I had the same experience with another Mira project. Until I heard someone said they substitute all their mill hill with Delica Beads, and now I’m hook with using delica. Sometime I mix mill hill and delica beads together. Look it up
Thank you so much for the tip! I've heard people mention delica beads before, but I haven't looked into them yet. I definitely need to do that now :). Thanks!
I enjoy your videos.
You have some amazing projects.
Love the colors you chose for the Modern Folk piece, so very pretty.
Have fun at the wedding!
Marilyn
Hi Marilyn! Thank you so much. I'm really enjoying getting Fruits of Plenty back out :). Happy stitching!
Wonderful stitching progress. Have a great trip.
Thank you! 😊
Love seeing your projects and good for you sticking to priorities!
Thanks so much!
Loving the progress on your wips. I started my Mirabilia Sungoddess for Mira May. I received your gift today
Ooooo new flosstuber!!! I’ll watch what is your floss name?
@Jeanettelee1973 thank you 🥰 Its MultipleLanesCreativeBrain. I'm planning to show more next time. Still have no clue how to do edits etc but I'll learn hehe
Thank you so much! Oh I just saw Sungoddess the other day for the first time and fell in love with her! She's lovely and that's a great start! I'm so glad you received your chart today! Happy to hear it made it there ok :). I hope you enjoy stitching it. CONGRATS on starting your Flosstube! I will definitely have a watch. The hardest part is starting it, so it'll get easier now!
Watched liked and subscribed… love your pastel animals!!! I’m an art teacher so I dabble in lots of art forms too!!! Enjoyed the flosstube… keep at it!!!
You have done so much on so manu different projects, great progress. I finally started my first Mira and plan to concentrate on it for Mira May. Your 5-4-3 rotation system seems like a brilliant idea, as i find myself getting drawn into one program and leaving others on the wayside. Might have to give that one a try.
Thank you! Congratulations on your first Mira! This is the perfect month to make some progress on her! I've really been enjoying the 5-4-3 rotation. It still gives me a variety of projects and time to pick up other things, but still allows decent progress on those projects!
@@therunnerstitcher I think I have to start something like this next month and make better plans, not so good at that part yet lol.
I love your progress! I too want to start the Deadly Aquarium but I think I'm going to have to hold off at least for now. I just have so many other things going on.
Thank you! And yeah I feel the same. I just know it's going to be a great piece, but I've got so many other things going on! ha
Lilly is looking beautiful. The backstitching just brings her to life!
Thank you! It really does! I was so nervous to do it, but got over my fear and just did it ha.
Beautiful stitching. Would you share Winston with us? I would love to see him. Good luck with all of your May plans.
Thank you! I'll see if he can make an appearance soon ha :)
Beautiful progress on your WIPs and the lime green fabric is fabulous! I bought a bright green fabric last year with the same thought.... Christmas ornaments. Love hearing about your running plans. Have fun in Austin!
Thank you so much! Yes, I love the though of lime green with Christmas! Happy stitching!
I love your excitement about life and all of the things you want to do. Your cross stitch is fantastic. I always rested my scroll frame on the arm of my chair with a pillow under it. The work is easier when you have large or complex pieces to work. Thank you. You always bring me😅excitement and joy.
Aww thank you for the kind words! I'm glad I can bring a little excitement with what I'm enjoying stitching on! Have you started the Disney piece yet? Just curious! :)
Enjoyed seeing you again. I like your style of cross stitching. You like the same things I do. Your Bella Filipina mermaid was so beautiful. Your fabric you received for your monthly club was very pretty colors. I am using a green fabric on 2 of my projects. I like green and blue and purple. Have a great week. Hope to see you soon.
Oh thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this video and that we like to stitch a lot of the same things! Happy stitching :)
Thanks Andrew. Another great video. I love your mermaid progess. You have finally inspired me to do a "fancy" lady. I bought a Nora Corbett bewitching pixie, Gwen if you want to look it up. I'll also be showing it my next flosstube. Keep up the great work, safe travels.
That's amazing! You will love stitching her up I'm sure. Gwen is a great choice!!
Lily is just looking beautiful. I am glad to hear that Winston is doing great!!! Love your video's and projects
Thank you! i was happy to have her expression finished. Winston is doing great :). Thanks for watching and your support!
I'm so impressed with your very ambitious goals and how much you accomplish between WIPGO and 5-4-3. Meanwhile, if someone tries to suggest what I should stitch, I'm immediately in the mood to never pick up that piece again. 🤣Best of luck with marathon training and can't wait to see your project progress the next time you post!
haha! i do love to make plans and try to stick with them. Definitely not for everyone, but gets me motivated to set goals ha. Thanks for your support and happy stitching!
Lily of the Woods iz gorgeous. Love seeing her face. You are doing good keeping up with all your projects. Love the new fabric colors. Have fun on your trip!!
I was very excited to give Lilly an expression on her face. Nervous, but I'm happy with how it turned out! Thanks for your support and happy stitching!
Love your stitching. I've been biking and building back. Ultramarathon for me in october... yikes. Love your stitching, MFE fruits of plenty SAL is a goal to finish this year for me. I'm at just over 50% done so I might join ya on that to push to get at it.
Thank you! Oh congrats on the ultramarathon coming up! Training for that will be around the same time as my training although yours will be much more intense I'm sure ha. That's a great goal to have to finish fruits. Feel free to join in this month and get more stitches! It's on my WIPGO again so there will be another month to push the progress coming up!
Beyonce is looking amazing, I can't believe the detail on that hand. I admitted to myself I won't be able to keep up on Deadly Aquarium either, lol. I'll just live vicariously through everyone else posting theirs and stitch it when it calls to me. Always love seeing that beautiful green Fruits of Plenty!
Beyonce's hand is so detailed, right? I'm loving it and can't wait to put some more stitches in. Glad I'm not the only one with Deadly Aquarium ha. I'm in the same boat, I'll stitch it eventually but enjoy everyone elses for now :). Happy stitching!
When I do SALs like the Deadly Aquarium, I tend to just collect the patterns and stitch later to keep the pressure off. Since Lola Crow offers the older SALS as complete patterns, I'm not subscribing. I have the Haunted Library on my wish list, though.
Sometime can you explain ho 28:53 w you deal with the blended threads a pattern calls for? I have a pattern that I love but it's almost all blended threads. Love all your pieces!
Nice to see you again. I'll be interested to hear whatever you want to share about your marathon training. I'm training for a 5k on June 1st. I've worked my way up to being able to run 2.75 miles without stopping. I'm enjoying running which is something I never thought I'd say. Take care.
I'm sure I'll share more of my training as it gets closer. Glad to hear that's something you'd enjoy hearing about! You're doing great if you're already running 2.75 miles!! You're basically doing a 5K and the energy on race day with everyone else will help. So proud of you that you're doing it and enjoying it!
@@therunnerstitcher Thanks, I don't know if I'll ever want to do a marathon or half marathon even, but am interested in seeing how far I can go. I have had knee issues in the past so didn't even know if running would work at all for me, but it's actually helped my knees.
Enjoy your trip! All the progress is amazing and so many gorgeous pieces.❤ I get it with the vet things, this past month Charlie didn't get to go into the pet shoppe to pick out a toy. He was a little salty about it but his box in tge mail cured that, lol. Car rides. Pup cups, and treats at the bank and coffee shop keep us happy. Love that you're able to blend running and crossstitch beautifully. Can hardly wait for your next Flosstube. ♥️🐾
Thank you! Yes, the vet can be pricey but we love our furry friends :). Glad charlie got some car rides and pup cups haha. Happy stitching!
If you do a Mira on 40 count, you can use size 15 beads; they will fit; you can get them at Fire Mountain Gems and some other places; you would just have to take a look to see what the color of the original beads are. Your other option is to convert the beads to Petite Treasure Braid which will also give sparkle to the piece. There were several Mira's done over one on various counts or done over 2 on 40 count at the Queen City Stitchers Mirabilia retreat last year. I'm working on one of the pixies (Inkberry Holly) over 1 on 25 count lugana; I think I'm going to use the PTB rather than the beads mostly because she doesn't have many beads at all and I'd have to purchase a lot more than I need. 🪡👠
Oh that's awesome! I would love to see a tiny mira like that! Feel free to share your progress if you would like! Great advice!
Hi Andrew! I always get excited when I see you have a new FlossTube. You always get me excited to try and stitch more. I love your progress on you Fruits of Plenty. I have had that pattern kitted up for over a year and have yet to start it. All of your WIPS are beautiful and your progress you are getting on all of them is great. I am looking forward to my retirement in June so I will be able to stitch more. Safe travels to Texas for your friend’s wedding and have a great time. I’m happy to hear that you are enjoying your running with beautiful spring weather. Looking forward to your next FlossTube. Happy Stitching ❤😊
Thank you so much! I love your support of the channel and glad you're enjoying it! I do really enjoy Fruits of Plenty and this month should get it some great progress with WIPGO goals. It's such a lovely stitch and goes fairly quickly! Oh I dream of a stitchy retirement (and i've got a long way to go haha). That is very exciting and June will be here before you know it. Then plenty of time to stitch for you! Happy stitching :)
hint when pulling out strands of overdyes - like the Waterlillies; pull one strand at a time, but keep a hold of the 'starting end' of the first thread when you pull the subsequent thread. That keeps the color changes orientated together but keeps tangles at a minimum.
On your mermaid. May I recommend doing all the beading at the end in hand? Your qsnap covers may be enough to snap the more fragile beads and can also distort the underlying fabric if you aren't careful. At least use some quilt batting or felt under the cover parts and don't rotate them over the stitches with beads.
Safe travels and happy stitching.
Oh that's a great tip, I will have to try that! I knew there would be a better way than the tangles I experienced ha. Also great advice for the beading. I've never done beading in hand but something to consider. I definitely won't put the qsnap over the beaded areas, but I think each mermaid will fit in the qsnap without overlapping any other beads. I'll keep you updated though. Happy stitching!
I LOVE seeing all ur wips and stuff, Andrew! You r 1 of my favorite ft'ers and I get extra excited to sit down n stitch when I see a new video from u come out! 😊
I get what u mean w the LC sal; I am working on it now and joined the fb group and everything...but this frame is a LOT more work than it looks...so def don't put that x pressure on urself ull get to it when u get to it! I feel like I'm running in place w it...other ppl r posting their frame finishes and I'm sitting here like HOW r they getting it done SO fast?!?!😂 I'm destined at this point to fall behind cuz I have so many other designs I want to stitch...I have my wipgo, too and I'm also perusin the internet to find the perfect 🍓 sal cuz I wanna join that one as well!
It was great "seeing" you 😉 and I hope u have a safe flight n a great time at the wedding in TX n fun volunteering at the race, too! Happy stitching 🐈⬛🪡❤️
Aww that is so kind, thank you. I'm glad you enjoy the channel and happy you're coming back for more videos! Congrats on making progress on the frame for LC. It definitely is a lot of stitching, but I'm so excited to keep watching everyone's progress. Someday I'll get to it :). I hope you find a great strawberry pattern to join in! Happy stitching!

Gorgeous projects. Do you have a link for the wooden hoop stand you use?
Thank you! This is the link to the one I have from Hawthorne Handmade. Not too expensive and I like it so far! www.hawthornhandmade.com/en-us/collections/scissors/products/sonata-embroidery-frame
Where did you find that really large nurse hoop for your pixel dragon piece?
I actually purchased that on Amazon. It's a Nurge hoop No. 4: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CC2X2GG7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Thanks!
On your 543 rotation stitching days about how much time do you designate on each project ?
Great question! The days I plan for the 543, I only stitch on that project. So whatever time I have that day. Some days are more than others, but all my stitching time on those days goes to that one project. Hope that makes sense!
