Its too hard for me to figure out and even harder to find proper instructions. I think it would be best for video instructions. thanks again!

The animated backglass works, but sometimes the positioning of the backglass will skew intermittingly. There is also a ton of lag when switching between games in the FX3 menu. When switching games in the FX3 menu quickly, FX3 changes resolution and positions part of the backglass on monitor one. What could be causing these setbacks?

When I change the table, dof backglass disappears and for a few seconds you see the windows desktop. When dof is inactive and fx3 uses inanimate backglases this does not happen and the backglass change is instantaneous. Is it possible to avoid this delay in loading the dof backglas? Do you have any tutorials on getting the animated backglass setup for a AtGames pinball machine? I followed this tutorial to see if it would be the same thing, but its not working. Thanks in advance.
Really quick question - does this work for 3 screens? I have it all "working", but the backglass image is huge and it's behind my DMD (which is a 3rd screen) and covers the full backglass monitor. The image is so large you just see the top of the dinosaurs head for example in Jurrasic Park. Any thoughts? Btw- thank you for this, the tutorial was great!
Hello Major Frenchy. I can now see doflinx running in the task manager after following these steps. When I start pinball fx3 it loads the static background images I originally had for my games not the animated ones I downloaded and placed in the folder as stated in the video. I downloaded the big zip with all. I changed the doflinx.ini file to point to the directories correctly. I removed the images I had to see if that was the issue but then it’s just a black screen. Seems like doflinx and pinball fx3 are not communicating. Sorry to bother you soooo much and thank you for this great video, I truly appreciate it.
Hey dude! I had a doflinx that worked well until yesterday do you know if there was any problem with the update of pack 6? My doflinx sounds an alarm when I open the fx3 now and no longer carries any backglass
You can leave the Cabinet mode. That is not affecting Doflinx at all. If doflinx is not working there are a few things that can go wrong. #1 The software has to be updated to the newest version ( Every time Fx3 does an update, it breaks doflinx and ddh69 must patch it with a new version) #2 the paths in the doflinx ha a typo. check the path of your folders in the script #3 you don't have the folders required. Make sure you have all the required folders in C:/DirectOutput Ie.. FX3, FX3_B2S etc.... When starting a table, here is the proper sequence. quit everything, #1 start Bam #2 open table in the editor, #3 Launch Doflinx # 4 Launch the game #4 You don't have a doflinx enabled table. A table must be coded with doflinx in order to display the effects. there is a handful of tables coded for Doflinx, there are about half a dozen max.. @@silverchin43 Right click on DOFLinx.exe, the properties Click on "Compatibilty" tab and then check the option "Run this program as administrator" I'm from Spain and my Windows 10 is in spanish, so I'm translating it. Maybe the text is not exact the same I wrote. Another posibitily is that some files are locked. Run Powershell as admin (right click, run as admin) and execute the command published here to unlock them: www.dtonias.com/unblock-files-powershell/ Now I'm fighting trying to load the pup-pack made for this table but it is not working for me yet. So I have this setup but it only works if FX3 is launched from the Steam app... I had my Computer setup to launch FX3 on boot by adding the FX3 EXE file from the steam folder to the startup folder. This method caused a Microsoft net 4.0 error and doflinx crashes... Any ideas? You should be able to test it by running the FX3 exe file from the steam file.

It finally works for me, but i had to turn off the repositionning back glass in fx3 , thanks a lot !

Ok so if I use a batch file to launch doflinx and steam using the game id it works...
