    Now I'm sad. When I missed out on it I thought, "oh well 250 for that knife I'm okay". But now that I see it in your video, DAMN, she pretty!!!

      If you’re still looking, the Harvest is back in stock on Leatherman’s website.

      @@jackwestcott4469they probably didn't sell well, that's the only reason I could think of them "re-releasing" them

      @@jaydub5515 Probably but if someone still wants it, it’s a second chance. I think it was launched strictly from a collector’s perspective and within that, I can see many ways to waste $250 other than buying a limited edition fixed blade Leatherman knife. $250 is just a good day at the range with some 5.56.

    Lol, it comes really sharp. I cut myself with it about 10 minutes after I got it.

      Same, I took it out of the box and said "This isn't that sharp!" And now I have a giant gash on my hand.

    Not worth the price tag for 250 bucks. Basic white G10 and S35VN...youre just paying for the "limited edition" fee. Lots of other better fixed blade knives with better steels and handle material for around the same ballpark price.

      I don't disagree with you, but I'd never be in the market for a similar knife if it didn't say leatherman on it.
      I do think it's a bit overpriced. I think the tool would be much more popular if it was half the price.

      That's crazy, when there are many more reputable USA manufacturers of fixed blade knives with much better sheaths, and heat treatments with a better price and Magnacut or S35VN steel.

      @@mackjones7688better heat treatment in what way?

    • @mackjones7688
      @mackjones7688 9 місяців тому

      @@Genesislights Bos Heat treatment on Buck knives like with the 154CM on the Csar-t is superior to anything Leatherman is putting out with their knives. GERBER with the Strongarm has their treatment of their 420HC down better than the Harvest I would wager. In fact, I would much rather have a Strong arm over the Harvest for the money. One is a collector item destined to collect dust. The other has been put through it's paces and is a well known solid investment. In case you didn't know. Blade geometry, grind angle, and heat treatment are far more important than the steel used. S35VN isn't much better than Chinese alphabet steel or D2 with a poor treatment to it.

      I’m not sure if this is just a Leatherman money grab or are they getting into the fixed blade market. If so they had better up their game with the blade steel especially at the $250 range there are many other companies and choices where you can do better.
