Your looking for a belt less (tool box / bag) version? I have done that for the P4 before. I may be able to mock it up this weekend. I don’t have plans to hold the bulky Leatherman Bit set though when I can integrate the bit holders directly into the print.

What is the best way that you recommend, to break in these holsters? I just received mine today and none of the bit slots are usable. I have to basically hammer them in and out lol 🤦♂️
Push them through a about 6 to 10 times each, the detents are intentionally tight, but will wear in with use. I use the end of the bit extender to wear in the slot a bit or push the bits through.
Has the tool ever slid out of the case like getting in and out of driver's side car seats? That's my biggest issue, driving a Suzuki Esteem the car seat clip-in likes to mess with my tool cases.

Could be the lever on my tool. Who knows? Bits go in extremely difficult. Tempted to use oil to get them to slide in better. Volty went in well, as well as a longer bit. The Ratchet on kine does not seat all the way in like yours. The one I have goes in 10mm. It seems it does not want to seat the last 4mm of the nylon ratchet shaft. Have tried tapping it in to no avail. Do wished there was extra material to cover the outer side of the multitool like you have available for the Arc. Unsure if the newer Arc holster is compatible with the Garage #5. I like the armored pocket clip version. PCDoodle's LED light might work well with that cutout *if* they get it past the prototype stage. Will keep working the various bits over time. They are a beast to go in new.
Since there is no fully armored version available, will the nylon tool tabs help the G#5 from sliding? Something average sized people do not have issues with compared to a larger person, mine likes to slide upwards 1/2” to 3/4” if carried on my hip - which is more comfortable to carry. Gets uncomfortable to carry above the front pocket area. Trying to find some that works up until you will sell a fully or partially armored case. Like the build you have save maybe with an inverted ratchet.
Did notice by adding Arc screws in place of the Pocket Clip do indeed add some friction to your open-faced sheath. For how long I do not know. Was asking earlier if the thumb-hole covers for the Saw & File might offer more resistance/grip on the open faced sheath for the Leatherman 40th Anniversary Multitool aka Garage #005?

For those that may have tool slippage issues, can one drill out holes to add magnets to help hold the multitool on place better? What epoxy is best to hold a magnet in the nylon/plastic your sheaths are made from? Would JB Weld suffice? Really like your sheath options, or I would not bother to keep asking. Did find screws for the Arc that did offer a tad more tension on the sheath. Not sure how long this will last. Would adding the thumb-hole covers you made, onto the saw & file, offer some resistance to keep the tool in more firmly? Still waiting for a fully armored case version. Ordered my ARC this morning. Yes, I plan on making a holster specific to it. the Garage 005 holster I have already fits it, but not perfectly due to the slight differences in the blade size and thumb tab location.

I have never had the tool slide out, but the ratchet driver on the side has snagged on a seatbelt.

Super glue holds well to 3D printed nylon (due to the slightly rough texture).

You can order the surge without the extender. It still does have the blade holder though.

Does the sight adjuster bit driver extender fit the same as the regular bit extender?
There are separate options for holding the Ratchet Driver or the Bit extender. The base is the same, but the top grip is different.
