  • My apologies on the lack of quality with this one. I took a weekend trip up to the Adirondacks, and an approaching weather front caused me to rush my departure. As a result I was missing things from my normal setup.
In any case this is Tracy Rd, which connects NY 9 to Witherbee heading from I-87. I don't think it's my favorite road because many of the corners feel repetitive, but it definitely keeps you on your toes. I'm cautious through some parts because of blind crests and the sightlines are questionable. Plus with it being a holiday week, I'm cautious for bikers and hikers as well. In any case, it's still a great road.
Oh and the song is "Behind the Sun" by Odesza (I've been on an Odesza kick since seeing them live)

The rawness of the exhaust note is somehow also smooth at the same time! The sound track, sky, and perfect road are the perfect complement to the car and driver. I need to reserve a run down this beauty for late September / early October!

Hi Buddy. I am always fond of your videos, and I am always here when a new one is uploaded.
I want to buy myself a 987 Boxster S also, but I am a bit afraid of Bore Scoring. From which year is your porsche model ?
Did you have any issues with it yet ?
And how many miles did you put onto it ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Greetings from France !

Bonjor! Merci beaucoup. (that's the only French I know LOL). The car is a 2006, so it has the 3.2L engine. 2006 was the only year that the cars had the large row IMS bearing, and also the 3.2L engine. From what I can tell the 3.2L engine does not bore score, and if it does it's extremely rare compared to the 3.4L. I've had the car for 9 years. I bought it with 28k miles and it had 3 owners. It currently has 67K miles and I drive the hell out of it. I maintain it meticulously myself and it's actually quite easy to work on. The only issues I had was the door lever inside the door broke. I also had a bad tie rod end. That's it. I have done preventative maintenance such as rebuilding the convertible top transmissions, changing the water pump & belt, ETC. If you take care of these cars they take care of you. Hope this helps. Au revoir!

Love your vids. What are you using to connect your phone audio?

@jm4037 I use a go pro hero 7 with an Olympus lav mic. Unfortunately, I lost my polarizing filter, and without it, the dashboard reflects onto the windshield so badly that you can't see anything. My redneck solution was to cannibalize a pair of cheap sunglasses at Walmart and tape the lens to the front of the go pro, lol. For some reason, my mic was picking up extra wind noise as well. Either way, I'll be upgrading my setup soon.
