Capital Naturalist: Long-Jawed Orbweaver Spider

Long-Jawed Orbweaver Spiders are usually found near wetlands where they form their webs at an angle above the water to catch both rising/landing insects as well as those flying low over the water. They really do have large jaws, in the Family Tetragnatha.
