I've used the POD Express to record several of my latest videos , and I love it. And I haven't even fiddled with the amp settings, just left them stock, and they sound great. Very simple to use, fits on my desktop, sounds great. I know there's been a lot of requests for an Editor, but I don't think you need it. It's kind of the whole point of this pedal. Keep it SIMPLE.

I have one, to me it’s just perfect. I don’t want options, but if I ever need effects for anything, whatever I need is built in. I love it.

Watching you two play around with this, particularly Alex trying to work it out, has been very entertaining. Thanks guys, great stuff as always.

This little thing trips me out- it shouldn't- this is sort of becoming the new norm- but it does. To be able to cram all that into the tiny little box for just a couple hundred bucks- that's insane. If I were still gigging, I'd probably grab one for a backup- it's affordable and small enough to work perfectly for that. Tbh the rigs sound about as good as the rigs in my MX5 I think- from what I can tell listening online. There are some better options out there for sound quality I would say but- nowhere near this affordable, small, or simple. Personally, I don't mind the plastic enclosure- but I'm not going to be stomping on it while playing live so... that might change my mind if I were.

If modelers were motor vehicles this would be a motorcycle. It is a nice enough cycle. A third more money gets you a car and double gets you a unit that passes to the ear on a recording to be as good as some modelers costing up to 10 times more. It obviously it gets down to whether you want a toy or something that can be used pro in any application. A modeler is literally a special purpose computer and as such better and even cheaper could happen tomorrow. An average good analog pedal costs as much as the Express and we all buy these only to find in a year or two we are selling them off. So grabbing the Express by our own standards of the life of a pedal on our board is actually need not be some heavy decision.😇 Let me leave you with one last thought. It's all very confusing isn't it.😟

Before hi-res small screens existed, kit had no screens. Just lights. Then we got 2 lines of text or maybe 2 numbers. Now we get knobs and colored lights. I am holding out for a Morse code interface. Why are companies pushing shitty *simon, multi key press interfaces on stuff. The sad thing is the shill masses think this is progress and good. Zoom got it right 10 years ago.
*a game where you memorized color sequences to win.
