Good video. I have a PA12. I’m concerned with how far the bracket sticks out when I tilt the kayak to load it on my truck bed extender. I’m afraid that when it sits on the rubber stops on the bottom of the kayak, it will also be sitting on the bracket. That wouldn’t be good. Thoughts??
Hi Roger. It is definitely recommended that you remove the motor shaft from the adapter when you're transporting your kayak. Once the vertical motor shaft is off, you should not really have an issue with the plate toughing anything. It's fairly high up and out of the way. @@Bixpy I think I will be ok when loading the truck extender, but about 5 times a year I will have to remove all of it when I lean the PA to load it on 6 feet high racks over the bed. Do you think it will be a problem taking the plate and ubolts off and reinstalling multiple times? It’s only 6 bolts but didn’t know if this is made to go in once and stay. Thanks…..Roger
So is this the older power pole Because the willfit version the cable runs through the pole correct?

@@rogerbarrios8614 Hi Roger. Shouldn't be an issue as none of the nuts and bolts are threading into soft material.
I'm about to try it Rodger did it touch the ground
